I look forward to reading SWFloridaGuy posts "almost" as much as I do Adam's - they always seem to have a very good handle on the current state of events and viable expectations as to what could (may) happen. Thanks for your great posts!!!

As the saying goes "All good things come to those that wait" .... if that is true - then after this LONG wait, we should all be expecting more than "good".

No...that makes perfect sense. I don't post a lot, but I do read quite a bit of this stuff. It's hard to sift through, but I have come to realize that most of what is interpreted from news articles can be manipulated into whatever scenario you would like it to read. I thank you for a sane interpretation and a beacon of hope for this adventure.

Off topic, I know.....but if you watch some of the old Super Bowl reels, you will see him yell that...it is one of my favorites. Thanks for your insights Adam. I know I am only one of many that feel that way. I just find it SO hard to understand why "all the hate"? If the people that continue to post all of those insulting and hateful comments directed to us "losers" who still believe that this speculative investment will pay off....why are they still here? What difference is it to them if we still are invested? I really don't understand their deal?

In the words of the great coach Lombardi "What the hell is going on around here"? Why all the hateful comments? If you don't believe that this may be a beneficial speculative opportunity, why do you care so much that others do?

What is the latest news on the HCL? Last time I think you mentioned that it was 99% complete. Do you know what is still needed on this? Also, do you think that they have in essence completed the agreements on this and are stalling the RV due to the issues with Erbil (I.e. Maliki)?

15 Days from what date? The contents of the post indicate the Date of 28th of April - or is it from the 3rd?

Thanks Adam for your early week Drive-By. It was very much appreciated as it gave me a boost to start this week, as the news being reported the last few days has been so negative. Also, I agree with Stephen Dedeaux post (above). To fall in line with your leadership Adam, I think that after the RV we all donate at "least" a thousand dollars to the Wounded Warriors. These fine examples of Americans deserve the extra help, we wouldn't be able to enjoy our freedoms without their sacrifices. Go RV.

So is "next" week - this week?

Is there any news as to when this "forthcoming" meeting is going to be held?

I think everyone is just a bit on edge right now and we look forward to Adam's Chat each week because we know that what he tells us is what he knows to be the truth. The news lately has been so confusing that it's hard to really get a good grasp as to where this RV is at. I don't think anyone is critizing Adam for his "lack of service". I just think that people are a bit disappointed when looking for some up-to-date information on his Wed. Chat. Hopefully Adam will get the time he needs to answer the questions tomorrow. I am looking forward to his responses to gain a better understanding of the current situation.

So - with the Tariff laws yesterday indicating that they go into affect on 06/01/2012 - does that mean the the RV won't happen before then? Or now that they have something in place, they will pass the HCL and that will trigger the RV?

I found the comment. It was made by Carrello on 03/09/2012 in the News Post "Parliment Supreme Cmttee w/CBI to Delete Zeros" in the news post she added the comment: "The tariff / customs law goes into effect June 30th. It had been said that the RV needed to take place about 2 months prior in order to make adjustments to food and other imports so that Iraqis have options and do not have to purchase imports. This probably doesn't make much sense, but it may help when thinking about an RV in September." Read more: I guess it was just a statement of understanding, not necessarily a cut in stone fact, but it still is interesting if true - which means that they would have to start making these "adjustments" now if the tariffs go into effect on June 1st.

Didn't I read someone's comment that there needed to be a tradeable currency 2 months prior to the tariff's being put into place?

Adam, if it doesn't happen by Wednesday, do you have any "background information" as to when you think that the RV will finally happen?

I am not so much for writing stuff for no reason. I am so tired of hoping and wondering if this will ever work out OK. I have a lot of "stuff" that needs to be taken care of (as I am sure all of you do as well) -- but I would LOVE to get my life on track and be done with this. This seems SO close - and I don't even care at this point if its a .10 rate - I am not greedy or stupid. I just really want it done. If its more - I plan on helping a lot more people. But I am afraid to get my hopes up too high. What about you?

I am so confused right now and frankley stessing out. I am not a "newbie" by length of time in this, but I never post, because fquite frankly I don't have anything to add as to knowledge of what is going in "Dinar-world". But today, after Adam's post, I am sort of "freaking out" because I don't really understand what is happening. (BTW - Alex - I did see you on TV - cool).

This is the first time I have ever posted. After reading for the last couple of years all of the information / news / etc. that has been posted on Dinar Vets, it is very clear to me that this entire speculative investment would not even have been possible without our brave men and women that fought, and unfortunately gave their lives, for Iraq to be in a position to get from under the dictatorship. The people that I know talk about this often, and what I would like propose is a "contest" to find a list of "reputable" organizations that we can help support after the RV for wounded veterans, veterans returning home with no employment opportunities, and families of the deceased. It’s very painful to me when I see these young men and women struggling after coming back home from serving our country, either because they are wounded (physically or mentally) - or because they can not get back on their feet financially. There are way too many organizations out there that I don't feel comfortable just picking one, as there are many that are probably not going to get the contributions to where they should go (too much corruption). Even if this is not the contest - it would still be a huge benefit for all of us to get some sort of listing of organizations for our veterans that we can feel comfortable giving back to. Thank you again to all of our brave men and women!
