Watch this play out... The proposed changes to the currency design namely, the images/signature is telling. The proposed changes to the Dinar is in response to a present problem or alleviating a potential problem in the future. I will comment later as I try to find the articles from years ago that dealt with discussions on the Kurdish Language being added. In different article someone opined about the De La Rue system that is being utilized. The discussion of the use of the De La Rue printing system is irrelevant when it comes to a real counterfeiter. Especially , when you think about the value of what is to come, Counterfeiting remains a major possibility every time there is a currency modification or a currency remains unmodified for a long period of time. The United States continues to have counterfeiting issues, go figure??? The real story about this issue may arise during the discussion of adding the Kurdish Language. My belief is that the discussion found there will allow us to "mirror read" the real problem as to why the currency is being modified.

Good Morning Yota and DV, I am looking at this from at least three possibilities and counting... At best, this may be a counter to the counterfeiting and lead to replace old edition notes through a call-in 😎 The new lower denominations could also prove quite promising. At worse, we wait a little while longer until the lower denominations reach their "FULL" value. Blessings All

Morning Yota and DV, I smell something fishy and it's not because of Lent. My first whiff is obviously, "who is behind this, namely the mandate to transact business in English." My second whiff of fish comes due to the fact that they would not first seek to have the expressed permission of the CBI prior to attempting to enter into this HIGHLY regulated arena. Seeing the business relationship within the Kurdish Region is also problematic as the ESX is fully aligned with the ISC for the ESX Bourse. Well ladies and gentlemen we knew this one day would come to this. It may play better to have this "discussion" now rather than later once there was a unified currency, that was well established. Some of the hesitancy on planning the Big Dance and the HCL deliberations all consider a unified Iraq or a fragmented one. I hope this is finally decided so that all parties can "accept" the terms of existence an sign off on the work that has already been discussed. I am a "whole cake" rather than "crumb" guy so I understand the Kurds making their play. However, the real and encouraging observation is, "why are the Kurds making their play, RIGHT NOW." Blessings

The cool portion of this, is that natural gas is seldom used in the valuation of Iraq's wealth when I have looked at the viability of this thing. At one time they burning it off and it appeared that they did not even care. The natural gas alone could bring the infrastructure into being ready to support advancement.
