  1. As much as I do not want to, I read this article to say, that the new currency will be put out and they are setting up to deny at least a portion of the old (current) dinar. Our hope is that we in the US will be protected from that because our dinar would be going through the Fed and we won't be directly exchanging with Iraq as individuals or some questionable organization. I also am curious if this will be the excuse to RD than RV to limit their risk. Curious what you all think? BTW...I don't see how they can wait clear till 2015 to do something! As the Iraqi people figure out how much mulla the government is holding and they are still living in poverty...they will revolt!
  2. The common theme I am catching in every article is that the hold up is with the CBI...they just don't seem to want to RV at this point. They never seem to want to...they always say "later".
  3. There are some pretty big dogs that are holding the same currency as ours. The chances that Iraq is just going to not accept all that currency in holding or only accept it as a lower denom doesn't make any fiscal sense to me.
  4. I received an e-mail from noreply@dinarvets.com and showed Dinar Vets Message Board. The subject line said, "OSI info, please read (Julie)" it had my username and said I needed to read the update on my OSI. I clicked on the link which looked harmless (http://iqd.me/l/awq7)and immediately weird ads started popping up. I closed the window and 10 minutes later my e-mail was hacked and my password changed!!!!!!!!!! It took me an hour to redo my account security for my e-mail. PLEASE somebody look into this so I can continue to open e-mails from dinarvets.
  5. Thanks! I am not saying I did or did not support the war in Iraq...that is not the point, but we have to look at the root cause rather than default blame to the US.
  6. I got negged...wow....so it is all America's fault and I am a bad guy for pointing the finger at the terrorists and enemies who brought it on the kids. Let me guess you are the kind of parent who blames the teacher or the cop when your kid gets in trouble...it couldn't possibly be your bad parenting!
  7. Bummer for the kids....too bad the parents in Fallujah supported the wrong side that brought that intense fighting into their area. Maybe we should blame the parents for harboring the enemy.
  8. Why is this bilge even in this section...it should go where all the Okie articles go! Why is everybody beating up Smee ?? She is pointing out the crap that the scum author of the article is spewing from his rear end.
  9. I feel this, with the announcement of the National Conference (hopefully) happening this week, we are seeing a common agreement to change the currency rate. Maybe this article is coming out because they know Maliki is losing his grip. This is my hope anyway!
