Goldiegirl, I am not attempting to present an argument. My only intention was to provide some addition information regarding Warka. Also, to further support the outstanding relationship several of us have developed with Ajazera. I was unaware that this information was already out. Again I thank you for the help you provided me with to get set up with Ajazera.

BrokeNoMore, I had simply asked my Broker a question and felt that I would share the response. Here is his latest response after seeing the posts. Dear XXXXXX , We read your wife's post . Our aim is not to discredit others , as some people imply . If asked for advice by our investors , we feel morally obliged to convey the truth to them and to be honest in our dealings with them . Warka Bank has been suspended from work since February 2010 and has been removed from the ISX list together with its brokerage service since last December . Therefore, you cannot withdraw or transfer money from it or buy/sell shares through its ISX department .

OOOboy..... I just Wired $$$$ to fund my Accounts on Thursday. Im going to try to Stop the Wire if I can. Not to mention a couple hous ago I was advised buy my broker "ALJAZERA" not to invest in Warka. Dear XXXXXXXXX, Thank you for your response and for encouraging your friend to open an ISX trading account via our brokerage firm . The answers to your questions are as follows : 1 . It is not advisable at present to open a bank account or an ISX account at Warka Bank , because you cannot transfer money from it or trade on the ISX through it . 2 . We do not recommend opening a bank account at another bank in Iraq . The wires that you send will be exchanged for IQD and kept in your name within our collective investors' account at the Investment Bank of Iraq , Main Branch , in Baghdad . This bank deals with the ISX . 3 . It is not in violation of the ISX rules to open an ISX account with another brokerage firm . Your ISX trading accounts will be different in number. Best regards ,

Goldiegirl and Trinity, YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!! I'm a bit older and not completely in tune with this computer age. (I appoligize for the clarity of my previous posts and how spread out it was, I still dont know why. LOL) I was able to finally open a warka account after numerious attempts. I simply found a post that said to use a Gmail account. I did and finally got a response from warka and was able to open my accounts. Now I just want to cover all bases and get in the ISX ASAP. I am concerned over the negative posts / info regarding Warka. Thats why I wish to use a separate Broker for the ISX. Thank You!! Shanna

Goldiegirl, I read the posts indicationg that you could just scan color copies and send it in an email. I did that with my recently openned Warka account and that was the reply I got back. Now Im going to go with Aljazera. It seems easier and faster to get in. Any tips or posts that you have regarding getting in with Aljazera would be appreciated. Thanks Shanna

Please send the documents to our mailing address: Warka Bank for Investment and Finance - Main Branch – Baghdad Iraq International Foreign Relations Department Watheq Square – Salman Faiq St. – Hay Alwihda – Sec. 902 – 14th St. Please note that once the ISX documents have been received and verified by ourbank it will be submitted to the Iraqi Stock Exchange to process and registeryour information and documentation within their electronic system where onceregistration is completed an investment trading number will be issued which ourISX department will confirm by email noting that it takes 2-3 weeks for theIraqi Stock Exchange to issue an investment trading number.
