I am surprised to hear this issue is still up for debate. It is obvious the "removal of the three zeros" refers to the EXCHANGE RATE. You need not be a currency expert to understand the simple logic. Think about it...currently, an Iraqi must carry large amounts of cash to transact business on even a grocery store level. This problem has been addressed by the Iraqi government many times via many news articles. If the three zeros were in fact referring to the actual currency notes, the average Iraqi would have to carry around ONE THOUSAND TIMES more notes that they presently carry to purchase the same goods and services. Explain to me why the Iraqi government would many millions of dollars worth of Dinar to reprint a currency to WORSEN their cash-handling problem? That just doesn't make sense. Therefore, for that reason alone the "removal of the three zeros" must refer to the exchange rate.

I don't doubt this person said what you claim, but I reject his opinion completely. Not because I don't like what he said (I don't), but because for anyone to say they can predict five years in the future in Iraq's turmultuous environment cannot be taken seriously. The U.S. economy and currency value cannot be predicted six months in advance and our economy and currency are certainly far more stable. If you could predict currency values and future economic conditions with certainty you would assuredly not be on this site! Do I think the conversation took place? YES Do I believe he said what he said? YES Do I believe this foreign currency manager has any idea what the future holds? ABSOLUTELY NOT! His last name wasn't Nostradamus, was it?

This is not a new article, nor are sources cited. DO NOT take this seriously. As other posters have stated, the CBI will not broadcast its plans in advance. This old post is hardly news and also does not translate well. This does not imply the RV will be a true lop, nor does it imply the RV will be pushed back. I am TOTALLY with you on this. In fact, I just earned a badge of honor by being BANNED from Okie's site for questioning their motives and outright accusing them of whipping up the masses so they could profit by selling additional Dinar. I think they are all out of their minds!

I find this as difficult as anything else said on Okie's site. I have never seen such incredible nonsense being sold as fact. Okie has no credibility...whoever he is.
