  1. 2 weeks ago I had the misfortune of meeting a creature that I thought could not actually exist, someone who tried to convince me that we have, not just an OK, but a good president. Still when I say those word, I have trouble even grasping how anyone could actually think that. Maybe the Twilight Zone does exist.

  3. I pledge to vote for anything that is on the ballot other than the current president. I hope that the georgia law suit about his eligibility is appealed so that everything he has done is voided, I'd even kick in alittle post RV to help with it if needed.
  4. I must say I really understand, I had an accident too , still recovering. I know it would be more hastle but, do you think you might be better off to either sell them a million at a time, to hold on to as many as possible, or keep one for yourself and sell the other 2, to give things alittle more time before you sell all. Pray for wisdom, the Lord promises to give it freely
  5. I know that most of you are looking forward to a post RV life. Doing things that you could have only dreamed of before, and I must say I am the same. However one thing I look at as being a possible downside to an RV, and having possible effects on the november election, is the effects it would have on the economy. Although, there are somethings I am going to start on almost immediately, I am planning on trying to coordinate things so that the major expenditures come later in the year, to minimize the effects on the economy until after the election. My reason for concern is that if the economy starts to pick up, the general population will probably attribute it to the current administrations policy's, and may influence their voting decisions. Although in the past, I have not been very politically motivated, after watching the movement towards socialism in the last three years, I feel the damage of four more years of such policies would be virtually insurmountable. I know most of you will think that, "what I plan on doing will not effect the general economy that much", the problem comes when that is multiplied several hundred thousand times. I am just presenting this as food for thought, and if you find the movement of our country scary, I hope you take things into consideration when thinking of your post RV world. My personal intention is to help many people, and organizations which help people post RV, but I want the decisions made on how to help, be mine and not the governments. While I am not really pleased with any of the candidates for president, I do feel I still must be diligent when voting, because of the implications involved. I hope that each and everyone of you finds the success you desire in a post RV world. Remember if you lack wisdom pray and ask the LORD for it, and HE will supply it. Thank you for taking time to read my rambling and please reply with your thoughts.

  7. My philosophy has been from the start; which way would I feel worse losing the money I've spent and dreaming for a while, or not taking the opportunity to dream, then finding out that the RV happened, and I missed out. To me it was a no brainer, how can I afford to lose that money, I really can't, but, I like to think that I am not going to and the Lord will see fit to bless me, so I can step out and step into the prophecy that's been prophesied over me since childhood, and this will open that door.
  8. I know things are probably hectic, but, if you could please badge me. Thank You

    Watch This

I did not have any trouble not laughing. Sad
  10. I posted this up on facebook a couple of months ago. I had someone reply: That is just ugly, but then again I wouldn't expect anything less from the GOP and it's supporters. God forbid if a DEM had posted something like that about Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and other members of your party. The GOP seems to have an inside line at being nasty. Thanks for proving that once again To which I replyed:Heck, this is just plain funny, if my birthday fell at the right time, and someone said it about me, thats ok it's funny. But if we make it a serious political thing, there is enough goes both ways that you can't say one way is better than the other, by the way I have never said at anytime what my affiliation is, be it conservative democrate, republican, libertarian, or independent. Now to "democratic" scuttlebut that is within the realm of flat out being ignorant, how about Herman Cain, and J.C. Watts are racist. I guess when an attack on someones character is not good enough, then you go to what ever attack you can Then they took me off their friendslist. Oh well, no sense of humor I guess
  11. Thanks I just hope that atleast here in america we alway keep Christ in CHRISTmas bacause Christ should never be replaced with an x.
  12. Thanks for the post. I personally hate to think that this sort of thing is even thought about, let alone being in the realm of possibility. Then again who would have thought that a bill about 1/5th of the american economy, would have been done in private, pushed thru, even though the majority of american citizens opposed it and the real kicker is, (the quotation marks are here for purpose) "let's just pass this bill, we'll worry about what is in it later". Redhorse are you really trying to tell me that that is in anyway proper for a government, "of the people, by the people, for the people". I apologize if this sounds disrespectful, but, do you really not see a natural progression from one case of facts to a situation that could be entirely possible if everyone choose not to believe that it was/is possible. I would much sooner think it possible and be wrong, than think it impossible and be wrong, because what can you do after the fact. It's sort of like taking a class, either you get an "A", or you get an "F". in this class there is no subject, no assignments, no test, except for the final exam, and you only get one shot at that, and the class HAS to be passed to graduate. How do you prepare, what are you going to do if you fail?
  13. I'll add a little something I wrote to go with the season. God's Gift Thank You God for the gift You gave, on that wondrous night when in the sky a star You made. It marked the spot that a Child was born, and a hope for all men that their lives He'd reform. On that night the wise men searched, till they found the spot where our dear Savior was birthed. To this day wise men still seek, to find safety and rest at sweet Jesus's feet. He laid in a manger with cattle and sheep, then He walked as a man and He comfronted the weak. He came down from heaven the dear Son of God, He gave it all up to show you His love. As you look to the heavens, and celebrate His birth. Remember He lived, to give your life a rebirth. Sweet Jesus born tonight, Holy and sacred, He gives meaning to life. Born in a manger, lived as a man. He loves you so much, just look at His hands.

  15. When younger I always tried to buy "made in America" over the years that became harder to find. Recently that has evolved to "any place but China". Let me share with you how I do this. As I stated I try to buy things made any place but China, preferable from at the very least an ally. At times I have found that to be impossible, when that happens, I buy the item at a local store, never at a major chain (i.e., Walmart, Sears, Lowes, etc...). The next part is what I consider the most important. When I go to the major chain store, and the only thing they carry is made in china for whatever item I'm looking for, BEFORE I leave the store I find the manager in charge, and tell them the reason I am not making a purchase is that all their stock is made in china. The reason I consider it to be the most important is, if I just leave, they do not know that I am leaving, and they definitely don't know the reason. The first response is always the same, "we can only sell what we get". I tell them I understand that, but when you talk to people in corporate and tell them that people are leaving the store because of the stock they may listen. I also tell them the reason I waited to talk to them personally. In about 70% of cases the manager then thanks me for letting them know, and them telling the company that someone has requested something not made in China, but then buying anyway, and, someone walking out the door without making a purchase is 2 different things, and at times I've been told I wish more people would do what you are doing, because that is all the executives will listen too. I hope this starts to spread, Will you join me?

  17. I plan on tithing plus to church. I was planning on just giving the dinar post RV, and assumed that because of where it is going that taxes would not be an issue, and let the church cash them in. Is there a better way to do this, and will there be tax issues? Thanks any guidance appreciated
  18. I feel that the members who are causing the trouble, are the ones who should be punished, and that it's the attitude and respect level that is the determining factors. Everyone has right to their own opinion, but because those differ it should not cause someone to be ignorant, or disrespectful. If things get to that point, where someone is consistently disrespectful, not disagreeing with others, maybe there should be like a 3 strike rule, where the mods review situation, and if agreed that the line of respect is crossed, then actions follow.
  19. Although I'm sure in most cases the UK system is fine, but it's when someone needs specialized care that the differences are shown. I had heard it before an knew that in those cases the US system is far superior. Just did a quick search for cancer survival rates, in the US, for males 5 year post diagnosis the rate is 66% verses 47% in the UK. I would consider that significant and definitely would if I was in that 19%. Just food for thought
  20. I have been avoiding buying anything made in China for sometime. At times there has been things that I could not find anything other than made in China, at those times I buy at small independent retailers, although I do not believe that they can do much about it I express my feeling about having to buy made in China. The next thing is what I feel is the most important thing we can do, and that is before leaving any major retailer, i.e. Sears, Walmart, Lowes etc..., I always find the store manager on duty, and tell them what I came there looking for, and the reason I'm leaving is what you have is made in China, and although I may have to buy the item made in China, it will not be there, and ask them to relay that to corporate. Leaving without telling the manager defeats your reason for leaving, because they would not know, and the sales person may or may not relay it.
  21. Thanks for the post of encouragement. Now to all of you who like to bash people who post something they find a little encouraging, when the RV finally happens be it tomorrow or 5 years, I guess you'll find fault with that too. If it comes in low, you'll grip because it should have been higher. if it is $25 you'll complain about all the taxes, and never be greatful for the blessing. So as for me I'd much sooner see the bank stories from someone shareing, than you ? type blasting them, so why don't you take your own advice and keep the vile stuff to yourself.
  22. OH! by the way, I don't think that congress can change the term of office by itself, I believe that would have to be an amendment to the constitution. It would be no surprise to see it tried by executive order.
  23. Best president ever, I hope you are doing something I like to do when I can see someone, and thats do, or, say something to get a reaction, and then watch it. If that is not the case I guess my next question would be which are you socialist,or communist?
