  1. Anyone? ... what’s another word for Thesaurus?

Hmmm ....Treasury or Storehouse......is that something to do with dinar or dong???

Hmmm ..... Thesaurus rhymes with: canorous, Centaurus, clitoris, decorous, pelorus, phosphorous, sonorous....

Hmmm....now there's an opening in there too for the reparte specialists...where are you gang....

  2. High unemployment, a near worthless internal currency such that dollarisation is the norm and government spending not reigned in properly....Hmmm these are definitely inflationary pressures hence the creep that has happened in recent months. As supplies of goods dry up further demand will be driven even higher and this will stoke the inflationary fire.

I'm not clear on the mention of the credit card, if this talking about an electronic card that gives Iraq citizens spending power for essentials including fuel and food when the new dinar comes in then this will develop good awareness and build trust with the electronic banking system. The DFI will likely be distributed via such a card IMO.

The inflation figures are highand will inevietably force the CBI to act/intervene...hopefully in way that is favourable to our investment.

  3. Great story and analogy.

Any parent worth their salt ought to be prepared to do anything for their kids....I don't me hand outs, buying love and cop outs. I mean being there for them in their time of need and crisis. If we have not instilled in our kids that embracing encompassing loving support is freely available from us, we have failed. We need to be mentors not tormentors, friends not adversaries. They need to know that we unconditionally love them and are prepared to do anything for them. They should have the freedom and guarrantee that we will be there for them no matter what...even to the point of physical harm. Perfect love casts out fear. We must love the person not the actions they take. Give praise and credit where they are due. Discipline if they are younger (and you have earned the right to correct gently and never in anger). You see its not about trying to gain brownie points its all about "connection and relationship" as this is what is vitally important in life.

We have a supreme example to follow, as we have been reminded by this story, its up to us to choose to follow the example set.

  4. Yesterday my daughter asked why I didn't do something useful with my time. She suggested I go down to the senior centre and hang out with the guys.

I did this and when I got home last night I told her that I had joined a parachute club.

She said "Are you nuts? You're almost 70 years old and you're going to start jumping out of airplanes?"

I proudly showed her that I even got a membership card.

She said to me, "You idiot, where are your glasses! This is a membership to a Prostitute Club, not a Parachute Club!"

I'm in trouble again and don't know what to do! I signed up for five jumps a week!

Life as a senior citizen is not getting any easier.
