  1. Oh LGD another tropical plant that is a bit hardier and grows like a weed is Moringa the Drumstick tree. I grow this too and eat fresh leaves steamed or stir fried (nice mustardy taste) and usually dry leaves and crush them into power to take with meals as a sprinkle (great on cereal; scrambled eggs; curries etc) or make a tea with it. Its very refreshing and an energy boost. Here is an article on it that gives a snippet of what it does. http://wakeup-world.com/2015/09/19/the-many-uses-of-the-mighty-moringa-tree/ Its a daily must for me !
  2. Hey LGD I doubt sour Sop will grow in Kansas with your cold winters. It is frost and snow prone...aka it kills it! You should be able to go on line and buy dried leaves. The fresh fruit is awesome and has black seeds which you can try to grow if you wish (Maybe a hot house will get it growing and then place in a sheltered spot) Check out this site for more info on Sour Sop (also known as Graviola or Guanabana). http://www.whydontyoutrythis.com/2013/02/soursop-fruit-natural-cancer-killer-stronger-than-chemo.html
  3. What Mrs Moose riding Moose with Mr Moose??
  4. Yes I'm doing well thanks. I live in the tropics so can get the Sour sop leaves fresh which taste a better. The dried leaves work fine though and this is what I used all those years ago. I would crush 2 dried leaves and steep them in hot water for 2-3 minutes. I never took it sweetened, as sugar fuels cancer. I neglected to mention I also took heaps of Tumeric in/on everything I ate or drank. I think the combination of these two items had a synergistic beneficial effect. To your dads good health

  6. Settlement… Lawyer and the three kick rule An Atlanta lawyer went duck hunting in rural Tennessee. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing. The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going in to retrieve it." The old farmer replied. "This is my property, and you are not coming over here." The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in Georgia and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own." The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we do things in Tennessee. We settle small disagreements like this with the Tennessee Three-Kick Rule." The lawyer asked, "What is the Tennessee Three-Kick Rule?" The Farmer replied. "Well, first I kick you three times and then you kick me three times, and so on, back and forth, until someone gives up." The big-city attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom. The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the city feller. His first kick to the shin had the lawyer hopping around on one foot when suddenly the farmer planted the toe of his heavy work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees. The barrister was flat on his belly when the farmer's third kick to a kidney nearly caused him to pass out. The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet and said, "Okay, you old coot now it's my turn." The old farmer smiled and said, "Naw, I give up. You can have the duck."

  17. Evened you out PatrickGold. I lived in Australia for over 20 years. They are a proud people who as Sarge Gals correctly pointed out came from less than humble beginnings. The Manus then Nauru Island refugee issue has been a thorn in their side for years. To think they believe they can resurrect the TTP when DJT pulled you guys out of that shackling deal.... they just don't get it. Too full of themselves. They hate to lose. Cricket is a classic example...the infamous under arm bowling incident of the final ball of the innings when a 6 ( max points) was required to draw....not even win. Poor NZ will never let them live that down. Hence the strong Rugby rivalry and the dominance of the All Blacks in recent years. Proud to be a kiwi at times like this.
