I can only imagine how Iraqi's feel who lost loved ones due to this tragic event and abuse of power and look forward to any justice they can receive. The best thing about this post is its timing- which in my opinion is a signal that forensic accounting has been completed on Maliki and the other cronies that put their greed before their country.. I personally believe that a change in rate is almoat iminent - and will cerainly be this year. And thanks Yota691, for all the posts you have continued to relentlessly make over the years, and for the all the other work you do aa a MOD- which is extremely undeunrecognized I personLly believe MODs are definitely required on sites that have as many members as DV does, and that the job would be challenging because the work has to be maintained objevtively and fairly. (which is an even more challenging a task when one considers the number of conflicting views and personalities that a site like DV has...)... Go RV!!!

6ly410- thanks for all of your encouraging posts. I'm of the belief that there's a lot more going on behind the scene at yh3e moment. 'Male intuition' combined with many recent factual articles detailing progress- including public statements demanding an end to corruption and yh ed need for progresz by Iraqi evonomists and others in non-government positions are maintaing positive forward momentum and inertia. I recall reading a post by Ovarb11 around 2012 stating an RV wouldn't occur until talk about redevelopment was brought up - which seems mentioned.a lot lately - which I hope is another indicator that we truly are almoat there..

For some reason I had the area confused with Bugs Bunny cartoon I saw from.the late 70's...I think thatthe image in my mind was Albuquerque though.... I tried to see if there were any posts on the CBI website confirming this exercise, but I couldn't locate the translation tab on the website- talk about a Catch-22!

The Baghdad Operations Command announced on Tuesday that it would cut through the center of the capital to conduct an evacuation exercise for central bank employees, noting that the pieces would continue until 2 pm. i'm curious as to whether or not the CBI has any public statement about this or if this exercise is linited to just the CBI.... it's interstng and peculiar timing and in my opinion a red flag that something else is at work at the CBI

The central bank said the move would pave the way for its recent move to Islamic capital markets through the issuance of the Investment Sukuk Act to complement the Islamic economy in Iraq. It is noteworthy that this company is subject to the Regulation of Insurance Acts No. 10 of 2005 and the Islamic Banks Law No. (43) for the year 2015.
