  5. Thanks everyone. I've played drums all my life and loved music just the same. For most of my twenties I toured doing lighting for some major bands. Music is in my heart and soul. I love playing the Journey music and with the guys who do it with me. Our singer is an amazing vocalist. Sometimes I can't hear the difference between him and Steve. We have another gig at the House Of Blues (5th one there this year) here in Dallas August 22nd. Any local DV members come on out. Would love to meet you. We have a Facebook page too. www.facebook.com/infinitejourneyband . Would love for you to like us. You never know we may be coming to your town sometime. We're doing Bobstock August 3rd in Oklahoma City. We be in Houston in September also. Thanks again for all the kind words. Elixirbaby
  6. Hello fellow DV members. I play drums for a Journey tribute band and we just finished up our promo video. Check it out. Hope you like. http://youtu.be/UwWbD1DYRvI
  7. I've owned my own business for almost 20 years. Some of those people who are unemployed are unemployed because they have a terrible work ethic. Late to work, steal, call off sick all the time and so on. When I place an add for an opening, I usually get about a hundred applications and cross my fingers there will be at least one worth hiring. I'm in the beauty industry and it's amazing when they show up to fill out an application in flip flops, torn jeans, sweat pants or just plain rude to the front desk. I completely get that sometimes your taking a job as a stepping stone to something better and I'm always for someone growing but while you're there, be there. Do your best. Come to work with a smile. Sorry for the rant.
  8. Thanks Thug. Ive heard that the Miliki Mr Potato Head come with interchangeable pinocchio noses?
  9. An opportunity to explain the circle of life
  10. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remittance Remittance From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Not to be confused with Remission. This article is about transfer of money by migrant workers. For a payment sent by a customer to a business, see remittance advice. For an allowance sent to an exiled person on condition that they do not return home, seeremittance man. A remittance is a transfer of money by a foreign worker to an individual in his or her home country. Money sent home by migrants competes with international aid as some of the largest financial inflows to developing countries. In 2012, according to the World Bank Report, $401 billion went to developing countries (a new record) with overall global remittances at $514 billion.[1] The economic impact remains contested among researchers,[2][3] however, remittance transfers do draw people towards the financial services that are available to them.[citation needed]
  11. Thanks everyone. Live music has always been my passion.
  12. Thanks umbertino. There was only three bands on the main stage that night. Us, a tribute band, Loverboy and Cool and The Gang. Great honor. We're on Facebook if anyone wants to follow us and try to make it out to some of our shows. Facebook.com/infinitejourneyband
  13. Thanks umbertino for putting it up. I'm the drummer. Donovan is lead vocals and is a powerhouse. He's the closest person I've heard sounding like Steve Perry.
