  1. I call bullshite. Former CIA agent? He/she is still active dude. They are in it til they die. As for the smirks and grins about you bringing up the IQD.....great penmanship and panache. You sir/ma'am, are veru imaginative to say the least. I call bullshite. Former CIA agent? He/she is still active dude. They are in it til they die. As for the smirks and grins about you bringing up the IQD.....great penmanship and panache. You sir/ma'am, are very imaginative to say the least. Maybe quit your day job and write fiction for a living......just a thought.
  2. Sold out? I don't remember selling out to anyone! Perhaps "our leaders" sold out, but to say "before we sold out" sounds an awful lot like you mean America as a whole, which includes the citizens, which includes me! I am very curious as to what your definition of selling out is.
  3. Amen to that! I know this went off topic a bit, however I agree with you on this. Smee2 you have a very valid argument, and I respect your stance on it. I just don't agree with it. 20mill, I agree with you 100%, kids are kids and will eat pretty much whatever you put in front of them, minus broccoli or cauliflower unless you grew up in my house and had to eat it or feel the wrath of mom! Today is waaaaaay different then say when I grew up or my parents grew up. We had family meals that were actually good for you and not premade garbage you throw in the nuke box for 5 min, or pick from the virtually 1000's of "fast" food places around. Junk, all of them. I was never a "fat kid" growing up, I became one in my late twenties, and guess what? I took zero offense to the fat kid to a twinkie joke whatsoever. It was an analogy, a comparison, a goof. No longer a "fat kid", as I have stopped eating all the shite that is out there and went back to where it really is at. Meat and veggies. Fresh from the butcher, and fresh from my garden. Sorry, bit of a rant. PARENTS, stop destroying your child by feeding them garbage!! Self esteem, hmmmmmm.........who cares what others think about you, you aren't here to make them happy, you're here to make yourself happy. I know, kids want to be accepted and "fit" in. Forget all that crap, be yourself.....if they don't accept you, they are not worth being a part of your life.
  4. LOL! I cannot believe they are still using the "funds have been transferred" bit. When are they going to learn that how much cash they have on hand in the bank does not make a difference for us to trade our currency. That's right, I said trade, not cash in. Even if you wanted all your currency in cold hard cash, that will never happen. Ones and zeros on a computer is what you will get. A transfer of funds to your account, and at most you will get an amount of cash that they see fit to give you, UNLESS, you make an appointment and let them know that you are going to be making a currency trade of X amount of dollars so they can have that amount on hand. Could take some time though, as banks only have so much on hand any given day. Anyways, back to the post...... More wishful thinking by a follower of the Guru's that spew the same crap day in and day out. "I see stupid people"....."The problem is, they don't know they're stupid".....I apologize if I offended anyone with that, but come on folks, are you really that desperate for the RV that you will believe anything that these morons come up with? Use the grey between your ears, and I am not talking about the lint in your ears, and really think about what these guys are saying to you. DO SOME RESEARCH! The real news is out there, the real story is not "This Friday maybe Saturday, cash in on Monday or Tuesday"......Wake up dinartards, live your lives and hopefully our investment does payoff in our lifetime. If not, it has been one hell of a ride, both a riot and a pleasure to get to know a bit about each one of you here at DV. If nothing else, we have broadened our views, and stretched our imaginations a little. Good morning, and have a great Sunday!
  5. I just love how people neg you when you bring some truth to their life. Hugh I tried to even you out, the articles that you linked to were quite informative to say the least. I guess some people would rather stick their head back in the sand than see what is really going on and neg someone when they don't like what they read. Here is an idea, instead of giving someone a negative, why don't you discuss the issue and maybe, just maybe, you might learn something rather than "Oh, pooh on your link, and here's a -1 for you!". Grow up, accept that you aren't always right, and that the world is a whole lot different than what it seems.
  6. Excuse me, but nowhere in that article of the original post does it say anything about the Dinar. You sir/ma'am are grasping for straws trying to do what Okie and the rest of those clowns do. Yes it is in the rumor section, but to state that "We are goal to go at the 1yd line"??? They have much further to go than that my friend. Iran may have influence over Maliki, but control Iraq? That would be assuming too much, as the US would not allow that by any means.
  7. I wanted to reply to this specifically the cheaper prices bit. If we stopped shopping at these places, the prices at the the local stores that we go to would change to a more palatable level that we have become so accustomed to at the big discount stores. Businesses go ahead keep shopping at Sam's and Costco, it is great for them. Families, shop local and let the little guys thrive. It creates a community that is well worth being a part of and living in. Having cheaper prices is nice, but wouldn't you rather be able to walk into the store and have that store owner know you by name and actually have a human conversation with you? Instead of looking at you like you're some sort of problem to them and "hurry up, get your shite and get out so I can go on break"? Which is exactly the case when any of you go to the big stores. They could give two squirts about you, they just want your money. Mom and pop shops, they actually appreciate your business!
  8. The last part of your post says, no SCREAMS volumes as to what we as US citizens should be doing, or need to do rather. If we are to become as great as we once were, we ALL have to change our ways. Not just the hippies, the tree huggers, the green peace people, etc etc. Everyone has to open their eyes and see that continuing down the road that has been pretty much paved for us by the PTB is not the road that we should be on. It is theirs, not ours. That age old saying comes to my mind....Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Wake up America! Your leaders are not who you make them out to be. Well, it depends on the bill. Some I can pay cash, others I have to get a cashiers check. Don't have many bills though. I can steer those of you that want to do this in the right direction, if you want to live "freely". These don't have to be done in order, just how it worked for me. 1. Bank accounts - remove your money and close the accounts. (I know some of you have heaps of bills that you pay with your checking accounts, but that will be addressed) 2. Cell phone - dump your carrier and get a "disposable" phone that you can buy at almost any corner grocer. Use cash to pay for it, and use cash to recharge it. 3. Credit cards - STOP USING THEM, PERIOD! Cut them up, burn them, do whatever it is you have to do to make them non accessible to you, ever! If you have a huge amount of credit card debt, you have three choices. a. You can pay the bill off in full, if possible do this, but before you do this, make an inquiry to the company as to what amount they would accept to make your account "square" so you can close it. They will complain and try to make you stay, offer you a lower interest rate. Don't fall for it. End the relationship as quickly as possible. b. You can pay the bill off their way by paying the BARE MINIMUM. Eventually you will have payed the bill off, however, you will succeeded in letting them "win". Don't do this unless you have a guilty complex about not paying your bills. c. This one is my favorite! After destroying the cards, STOP paying the bill! They will send you hate mail about being delinquent, call you all hours of the day, but, eventually they will send you a letter that states a MUCH lower amount to pay than what the original amount was. Now, your credit score will take a hit, but remember, WE ARE NOT USING CREDIT ANYMORE! d. Just a reminder, credit cards INCLUDE gas cards, stores such as Kohl's, Target, Best Buy, etc etc. Any card that you use that resembles a credit card that is NOT rechargeable. 4. Bills.......depending on your lifestyle, this one can be tricky. Any bill that you have to pay for that deal with your home WILL accept money orders or cashiers checks. I happen to cash my paychecks at the bank(s) that my employers use. I pay $5 dollars to do this, which is cheaper than a check cashing facility. I know, I went to a bank and gave them $5 dollars. Another option, Credit Unions! They are independent and not part of the "Evil Empire". Lastly, the aforementioned check cashing facility, such as Super Cash, or Western Union. 5. Insurance.....this one is entirely up to you as how you deal with it as there are literally thousands of options for you to choose from. Also, depending on your family situation and health, I am not going to tell you what to do. Personally, I think they are all bunch of scam artists. You pay for something that you more than likely are never going to use. I know, what if I get hurt, what if I crash my car. Again, entirely up to you. I ditched all of my insurance people minus my homeowners. Which brings me to the next and last for now. 6. Mortgage! This one may not apply to all of you, renters, you CAN pay cash to your leasers, some in fact prefer it. However, if not, well we go back to number 4, cashiers checks or money orders. Homeowners, talk to your mortgage person, see what happens when you offer cash to them instead of writing a check or doing a direct deposit payment. I know, you're saying "I don't have a ton of cash lying around to pay off my mortgage." Well, part of that is because most of us, myself included before, are living beyond your means. Cut expenses, perhaps sell the house and get an apartment. Bottom line, YOU need to change it to make it better. \ I know that was quite winded, and kind of preachy after I read it. It is just my opinion and an example of what I did. I by no means am telling any of you to go out and do this because it worked for me. I am not, and I am still dealing with creditors, almost done with them though. It takes time to do all of these things and to get to a point where you know exactly where all of your money is, how much you have, where it goes and what to do with it. I shop at local stores, for food, for gas. Clothing, well, I do still shop at name brand stores, I just use cash. I tried to do the "rag stock" thing and consignment shops, but it kinda creeped me out. I like new stuff and nice stuff just like the rest of you, the difference is I don't buy it if I don't have the CASH for it! Credit is evil and must be destroyed!
  9. It is sad though that capitalism has turned into what it is today. Used correctly, it can benefit everyone and not just the super elite. I know that people would argue, presumably the ones that have the majority of the wealth, that capitalism is fair as it stands now. Everyone has an equal chance to make a dollar somehow. Well, that is pure nonsense as most small business owners that have had to fold up shop because of the big corporations or BIG BOX stores. It makes me believe all the more that big business, our legislative system, and the PTB are all in cahoots with one another. For what reason? To make money, period. But the flip side to that coin, what if we stopped using the so called services of these establishments, and went back to buying from our neighborhood grocers, pharmacy, and service stations, the ones that are not part of a multinational conglomerate etc etc chain of store across the USA or the world? They would feel the sting that these small business owners have felt, and maybe realize that things need to change. As for another way to hit them where it hurts, make a run on the banks and see what happens! take all of your checking account money out, your savings etc. Without "your" money in their coffers, they are nothing. Not one red cent of my paychecks or life savings are in one of them. I know, some of you will say, "What about earning interest on your savings?" My reply to that, "Keep your 1%, I sleep better knowing my money isn't being used to Eff over someone else."
  10. It is rather odd if he is predicting the fall of what is considered by many the bane of our existence. However, until that system falls, he like the rest of us, have to continue to live as we do using THEIR money to survive. I know he probably lives a whole lot better than most of us, but such is the way of capitalism.
  11. Big difference there Kenny. Thug actually lets his audience know that he is making fun of what he posts. Whether it be Okie, Johnny, Bulldog, or any other liar that is out there, he makes fun of it and everyone is pretty clear about the fact that he IS poking fun at them. Whereas Luigi just copy and pastes the garbage. I still laugh at it, even though there is no catchy headline or disclaimer stating that Luigi is in fact poking fun at it. Probably the main reason that one is applauded and the other flamed. If all you do is copy and paste the drivel from the "dark side", well then people are going to wonder what your opinion of it is if you don't say anything about it. Luigi is sure to have an opinion, perhaps he just wants to share with everyone else to prevent us from going to "that site" and being sucked into the BS that they spin. Who knows!!
  12. People absolutely have control over what they believe JonJon. To say that I have no control in my belief in something, someone etc etc is completely ridiculous. First of all, who is to say what reality is in the first place. What you perceive and what I perceive of the exact same moment, of the exact same event can and usually are completely different when it comes time to go in detail of what just happened. Secondly, reality does not shape your belief or beliefs, events in that reality do. I was not programmed to like the things that I do, or dislike the things I do either. Therefore I had or have control over what I believe. It is about perception, or physical sensation interpreted in the light of experience. That experience as what you are referring to as reality. Your reality will definitely not be the same as say that of a someone that is schizophrenic. Then again, maybe it would.
  13. Very true. But who is the bigger fool? The fool that spins the lies and distorts the truth, or the fool that is so desperate that they believe what the other fool has catechized.
  14. I think I am good for a speedy front of the line cash out. Anderson......hmm. Unless the other Umteen million of my brethren show up I think I am good! Side bar, this post has been humorous. Albeit excrement, shite, doody, caca, feces, merde, pooh pooh, horse cookies, etc etc....made me laugh though!
  15. Evened you out Machine. I really dislike the messenger getting shot all the time. If nothing else, the "warning" was good for a laugh. I just love the vernacular that they choose to use.
  16. Wow! Just watched about 20 minutes of Barbara Mikulski ( D from Maryland) talk about the Buffet Rule. Man that was entertaining! She was standing up for the small business owners and expressing her opinion of how the "rich" should pay their fair share.
  17. Agreed! But please, leave the hockey players out of it!
  18. July 1st works for me!! That would be one hell of a 40th B-Day party!!
  19. LOLZ @ powerhead. Loved the goathead comment, one of my buds says that all the time when I tell him to go ahead. "Don't call me a goathead, fokker!" As for the rest of this thread, holy smokes I had me some good laughs on this one! RRSport, when I first read your post, I swear it read fartscicle. Yeah I know, juvenile, but I did spray some Mt. Dew on my monitor!
  20. I couldn't agree more Kos! They have to be the same person, and YEAH! Where is my umbrella drink!?!?!
  21. That would be Johnny Dangerously. Starring Michael Keaton, Joe Piscapo, Marilu Henner to name a few. What a classic!
  22. Great theory, but it is flawed since it based on the "front screen/back screen" hypothesis. Neither of which exists, as the rate IS WHAT IT IS and there is no forewarning whatsoever to the banks via the magic amber/blue/green/rojo blinking screens. I would really, really, really like for it to happen by then, if not sooner, however, things just are not looking that way right now. Follow the Iraqi news, not the GURU news, you will sleep much better.
