Kind of spooky that you say that Tex, as the 5 year anniversary of the 35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis is approaching. Tragic event for those of you that may not have a clue of what I am referring to, but it was the first thing that popped into my head as i read Texas1's post about Possum not making it across 35. Read a big front page about it today in the Star Tribune here in Minneapolis, yeah yeah don't give away personal info. Good luck finding anything else out about me! Proof? Doc you are such a negative Nancy. Remember who you are talking about, the US Government. They do shite that never makes sense, and.....sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. I would not be the least bit surprised when every so called "conspiracy theory" as you put it, comes true. We are in some very strange times my DV friends, very odd things have been happening globally. It only makes sense that some strange arse shite like this actually does make sense and DOES happen.

I am just taking a stab in the dark, but I think one of three things is going on with this post. 1. The link that was posted is not the correct one in which "THE MEGA RICH AND CHINA ARE BUYING TRILLIONS IN DINAR IN HOPES OF AN RV IN THE NEAR FUTURE".........simple mistake 2. The post was an attempt to stir up a debate on whether or not the link in question is related to the IQD or China and the Mega Rich....doubtful 3. It is a classic example of "speculation"....coming up with your own hypothesis after reading an article and interjecting the IQD/China/the Mega Rich/ and the possibility that somehow this article ties in with the RV/RD/RI of the Iraqi Dinar......sadly I think this it the winner. If nothing else, this story has added to the soap opera that is "As The Dinar Turns". Good info by the way, just not about the IQD.

I really hate to point this out, but NOWHERE in that link did it once EVER say anything about Iraqi Dinar, or any other dinar or specific currency for that matter. The article was about offshore "tax shelters" and banks protecting the uber-rich's money. Did you even read the article?

I don't know about the rest of you, but that sure has the same "feel" as the Nigerian scam letters to it. The emails that you get about how you have won this stupid huge amount of money, and all you have to do is provide your info AND 250 USD. It just read all wrong coming from a "company". So yes, Simon, please do share with us at DV where that email came from. I am very interested in who created it. Thuggie, you owe me a keyboard. That is too damn funny!

Anyone that has been around the DV community for a while can clearly see that what was posted is not from Okie. Whomever the entity that started the Okie persona has surely stepped down and allowed some other "Guru" initiate to take control of the Okie name and character. Either that, or he has changed his speaking style completely, and actually learned how to spell along with proper grammar. Doubtful, but still it is fun to think about a room full of Gurus arguing about who gets to play the part of Okie for the next 6 months or so. As for the post, a whole lot of nothing coming from someone that has no clue anymore than you or I do when anything will happen with the IQD. It is laughable to see that Okie believes it is hinged on election time for the US Presidency. Yes it would probably boost POTUS' ratings a bit, but reality.......that is a different story.

Question about the whole taxing us on this investment...... Say it RV's/RD's or increases in significant value, such as 1 to 1 We go and EXCHANGE not cash out, our IQD for USD or whatever money it is that you use for your daily bizz... Is there some sort of paperwork that we fill out that I don't know about?? I have exchanged currency quite a few times, some with a little bit of profit, never had to fill anything out.... So how is it that they will be able to tax us on this? I don't have a bank account of any kind....if you have read my posts you know why.....if not, BANKS ARE EVIL! Someone enlighten me and the other DV family members on this, be simple about it too, as I do not have a degree in finance. I am a web designer/multimedia person/bar manager....I know, quite the career path(s) I have taken!

Informing of us of a huge SCAM centered around the use of Wells Fargo's name in the deal, that was interesting and kinda made me mad as I was reading it. Not you, not I, not Okie and his Super Secret Squirrel Force of Intel providers can nail this down to an exact date/rate or whether or not we will even be able to exchange our IQD for USD at all, should Iraq decide to stop effin about and get their act together. It could also be a whole heap of disinformation sent our way to make people of a lesser constitution dump their IQD and get out of the game, thinning of the herd per say. I for one am in this for the long haul, have been for almost 2 years now, and I am not going to give up now or ever for that matter. I have faith in this investment, as do quite a few others here at DV.....Be patient, read each piece of "Intel" with an open mind, and take each piece with a grain of salt and or a sense of humor.
