  1. I was afraid to try it. I was sure I would be a Ron Pauler. I answered it with the most accuracy I could muster, placing emphasis on the things most important to me. I am 93% Mitt Romney. Who knew?
  2. My whole family enjoyed this! Even the thirteen year old who doesn't understand the recreational-area-waste-treatment area part.
  3. Thanks for the chat Adam, and the post, KCW! So appreciate your time and leadership on this boat!
  4. I'm invested a lot more than some but not as much as a few and I'm in it till the end. If I use it as wallpaper in the mean time, I'll be sure to use sizing, just in case
  5. I guess I mean REAL tax breaks. Like tax credits. What you spend taking care of a senior parent gets deducted from the amount of tax you owe. Kind of like that "earned income credit" they [used] to give to lower income families. (Do they still do that? I've been out of the tax prep loop for years).
  6. I could live with that. What a great way to celebrate a birthday! Each month, about 8% of us, on the average have a birthday!!!
  7. I generally agree with what it is you're trying to say, except I disagree with the idea that US GOV is a business. It's more like a hostile charity in which the donors are forced at gunpoint to contribute whether they agree as a majority with how THEIR money is spent, or not. Businesses don't do anything for free, and the government's products and services are "free". I guess my point is that I'd prefer that the government not be given the dignity of a comparison to a private business that must balance it's books and turn a profit or close the doors. How about tax breaks to families who financially take care of their parents?
  8. I think my favorite is the smoker's lounge. I have that one posted on FB.
  9. I completely agree. I'm far less worried about that now that you've pointed that out! Thanks for all the responses to my query...I'm learning on DV that if I have a question about something...probably other people do too but haven't posted a topic on it
  10. I received an email this week from a friend with this post from Dinar Recaps, and upon a Google search have found nothing to substantiate these claims. Are they true, or just more guru crap? Anything in the news?
  11. Has anybody seen anywhere credible that the coins are going to be issued Sept 1?
  12. I saw this on Facebook and almost went to Factcheck.org to make sure it wasn't a hoax. Maybe as a nation we're waking up!!!
  13. With an internet connection a decent education is free. A piece of paper, now, that's expensive!
  14. I just can't wait until one of these guys is finally RIGHT!
  15. I agree with this, Carlos. But if you think that voting for Ron Paul will help, you're wrong. 1. He can't win. 2. He won't be allowed to take office or 3. he'll be assassinated before the end of his first summer. I'd like to see the one man who will do our country damage more slowly get into office, and not the man who is 'ell bent on seeing us a marxist state now, since those are our two choices. I didn't miss the point at all. Did you miss my point?
  16. I am so glad that people don't call me a flip flopper because I've learned and changed my thinking and approach to all kinds of things. I guess it does depend on how you look at it I'm not really interested in links to show why things are true when the vast body of knowledge proves otherwise. Too many of these kinds links for Obama or against Romney are from the Huffington post, which I won't even follow. They are the most liberal and slanted media out there. People post links to blogs and consider that proof. I'm not buying. I did follow the first several, and they're to you tube videos of news clips that are up to 15 years old, or an anti-Romney site. I don't consider that proof. I'll believe anything from The Blaze. The truth. Good, Bad, or Ugly. Unbiased. I like that. Although I have to admit I almost never read or watch it. I mostly Google issues, and then consider the "source". Be well, everybuddy. I have to get something done!
  17. I have spent every dime beyond my investment in Dinar preparing for a mass meltdown. We bought property in the middle of nowhere, very far away from any kind of population centers, we've invested in long term food supplies that are nutritious, such as whole grains that will last literally forever if kept dry, beans, heirloom seeds, generator and other off grid electrical generating equipment, fuel by the 55 gallon drum, and the list goes on and on. I don't think any investment in this economy is worth a dime. It's going to take more than I can invest to truly be prepared, but we're trying to do it in the order of importance. Food, shelter, fuel, ammo, etc. We were hoping to move to our property and start living sustainably by fall, but alas, with no RV and my health in the crapper we didn't make the goal. But we're trying!!!
  18. Thanks for answering the question, Maggie. I appreciate you sharing your perspective. I asked because I always like to know if there's something I missed. I don't agree with your reasoning, so my thinking isn't changed. I posted another list of 40 things they have in common because I don't believe that many of the things on the first list are relevant because he has changed his position or they are outright untrue. In fact, I started a line by line rebuttal, eliminating most of the things on the list as currently relevant but I quit because I realized it was taking too long and it's a waste of time. Nobody's position is going to be changed by me investing an hour. You will either do your own homework, or you will believe whatever you read that's put in front of you. Thanks for your time.
  19. How so? (Seriously looking for your perspective here, not trying to fight )
