  1. +1 I totally agree but with all the news stating the redenomination will take 2 years makes me think that some of the current currency will coexist with the new for a period of time as previously stated by the C.B.I. Hopefully the value will increase over time until all is drawn in? As always it's a WAIT AND SEE crap shoot! Thanks for the post! Wow settle down tenderfoot
  2. +1 for you my friend but this is where these OPINIONS belong "L.O.P. talk" I only wish they would stay here. There isn't a country in the world that has advertised any positives on their currency gaining value for a good reason. When Chapter VII is lifted the numbers will speak for themselves. I can't take these nay sayers that obviously have way to much time on their hands "get a job"
  3. With the new denominations they stated that will be printed starting in September with a release in Jan. "the numbers don't work". All these articles mean nothing until Chapter VII is released and International status is achieved +1 and I couldn't of said it better myself
  4. +1 We need some up beat comments for moral. Lots of undercover LOPSTERS with their opinions "and we know what opinions are like and most have one or are one"
  5. Gotta love this article, nothing but positives on the Chapter VII release and the goal to become a full W.T.O. member. To achieve their goal all would have to fall like domino's "due to the International Status / Transparency and Monetary Requirements. Looks like Junes U.N. meeting will be the Deal Maker or Breaker Thanks for the post
  6. +1 Love your attitude "thanks for the post"
  7. Breitling has stated if they didn't reduce the money supply "30 trillion" His math shows from .04 -.06 cents. With the articles stating the new denomination values that contradicts that figure. If the money supply is reduced to 30 billion and they want to dedollarize, that move "which has also been stated in articles" would show a whole new respect for the Dinar and would be the best case scenario. FINGERS CROSSED
  8. With the"take 2 years to RD fully articles" ANY MOVE would definitely make this investment more interesting !!! Hope we can ride the 2 years out with existing lower bills
  9. I like the Dinar redenomination requires 2 years, Central Bank of Iraq informed they do need currency in circulation and maybe just maybe the forgotton "LOWER DENOMS." we currently have will ride for a while "000 free bills". That used to be the synopsis retire the current 25's, 10's, 5's and possibly the 1000 bills / then replace the lowers over time "maybe 2 years?" FINGERS CROSSED"
  10. The only comparison I see in that analysis is to a LOPSTER "if I had that outlook on this investment I wouldn't be invested"
  11. +1 for you "The math on 30 trillion dinars as of now comes out to around six cents without the Dirty Float"
  12. The current exchange rate does not reflect anything and is being controlled fictitiously by the currency auctions. Foreign investment is just beginning "invest in what" The people have no money? Once Internationally recognized, and the people have more than toilet paper money, foreign investment will take off. I don't know about you, but I never invested a dime in turkey and take offense to Iraq being compared to them "there are no boats in the desert"
  13. Do you realize that their are I.M.F. laws that have to be followed? Your misconception is Iraq holds the cards and can do whatever they want. If they plan on getting out of Chapter VII and becoming a full W.T.O. member I got news for you Transparency will prevail and the now closed books will be opened and the Real Value will be the foundation of the Iraqi Dinar "Not the 10 year old Dirty Float program rate"
  14. To do what Turkey was allowed to do with their currency is not even closely related to Iraq's Issues. The type of Hyperinflation needed to almost: walk away from a currency has to be very extreme with no hope for recovery. Iraq simply does not fall into that category, even with the political unrest the oil keeps pumping and the countries worth keeps growing. The war caused the hyperinflation in Iraq "10+ years ago" and they are recovering. My point is the article was published today and to compare Turkey to Iraq "present day" is preposterous and is not a selling point to attract Foreign Investors or to become an Internationally Recognized Entity as that seems to be Iraq's goal.
  15. Of all countries to model themselves after time and time again? Turkey is and has never had any similarities to Iraq except the Barbarack middle eastern mindset, keeping citizens in poverty and geographic location, THAT'S IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING EVEN CLOSE TO IRAQ'S Resources and Wealth IF IRAQ PLANS TO BE A WORLD POWER AS THEY HAVE STATED "THAT IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT **********"
  16. The dollar is in high demand because the Dinar isn't worth the paper its printed on a##holes!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out? MORE DRIBBLE AND TIME GOES ON
  17. BLAH BLAH BLAH How many times are they going to publish the same articles, Instability is Iraq's forte do they actually think that Saddam's times were stable and it warranted a $3+ economy? Iraq has the highest foreign reserves and are pumping the most oil ever in their history. Now that a share will go to the people "that makes Iraq a country" they are coming up with the same old dribble time after time, while poverty is a way of life for their people and it doesn't have 2B.
  18. Just 1 of many requirements, the most important to me is the need of a internationally trade-able currency
  19. Dam looks like a long vacation from this Iraqi and now U.N. Bu&&%h1t is in order. Been at this game for 3 years + and have just about reached the end of the plank. SEE YOU ALL AROUND U.N. meeting time in Sept.
  20. I really have no clue on why you are even bothering with this investment? If this is what you believe GET OUT NOW, Iraq wants to be a international Power and I highly doubt that screwing the entire world is the best way to reach their goal. The Real Value will shine through once Chapter VII issues are resolved
  21. Dam everyone's got to quit getting hung up on every article ! Not one of these so called Iraqi published articles have panned out in the last 3 years I have been invested. June's U.N. meeting is the next target for Chapter VII release. With or without these clowns the oil keeps a pumpin and the D$D$D$D$D$ keep rollin in.
  22. Don't forget to exit Chapter VII fully and be internationally traded, Iraq must have a Transparent Internationally Trade-able Currency. This means they have to finally put their cards on the table and show the countries Real Value and finally dropping the ridiculous Program Rate / "Dirty Float". I feel the monetary change will be the last piece of the puzzle and will be a result of all other Chapter VII issues being resolved. Thanks for the post Yota !
  23. Kuwait is not the only issue holding up Chapter VII release? I hope all other issues are resolved and everything goes down in a chain reaction
  24. Lots of outstanding issues besides Kuwait, hope all else is worked out and at Junes U.N. meeting a chain reaction occurs. I believe the R.V. will be the last piece of the puzzle the Sept. date falls in line with that scenario if the other issues are truly resolved.
