  1. I actually heard this verbally, but haven't seen (unless I've managed to pass by it), anything like that in articles/emails/ the such.
  2. I was well aware that you were kidding, otherwise I would have stayed far, far away from that post. Actually I chuckled, made a weird face and then started saying it how I think the Joker would have said it. I had fun with it. Weird, I know... because I called you creepy, then I took the creepiness to a whole other level in my living room. It's all in good fun.
  3. Woah, slow down. I think your response to their response was not only childish, but a little uncalled for. Ya gotta understand, a lot of people here are very skeptical having heard so much rumor/pumper/BS stories. Growing a skeptic bone is bound to happen when you've been waiting and waiting with no avail. They may bash, and if you're correct (which I hope you are), then you can come back and say "nani-nani-boo-boo", and give them a wedgie, okay? For now, we should all try to play nice in the sandbox.
  4. Every time I have gone into or called BOA, I was either shrugged off or hung up on with the ole' "Bank of America does not currently or plan on dealing with the Iraqi Dinar". Maybe I'll have to take a little field trip of my own!
  5. Iraq named a new electricity minister Monday after the previous minister was fired over the summer for approving allegedly improper contracts, a lawmaker said. "Parliament voted by majority to nominate Abdulkarim Aftan as electricity minister," Faiza al-Obeidi, an MP with the Iraqiya list that proposed him for the position, said. "The majority of the political blocs welcomed the fact that Aftan took the position, which gives hope that he will succeed at managing the ministry." Cabinet general secretary Ali al-Alaak told AFP on Monday that Aftan had submitted a plan to address Iraq's chronic power shortages to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Hussein al-Shahristani, the deputy prime minister charged with energy issues. "According to the plan, or vision, he has, it seems good," Alaak said. Aftan, a 50-year-old chemical engineer by training, replaces Raad Shallal al-Ani, who was dismissed by Maliki in August for signing off on $1.7 billion in allegedly improper contracts. Ani's dismissal came little more than a year after his predecessor resigned amid protests over poor power provision. Iraq is attempting to tackle chronic power shortages that leave residents with just a few hours of national grid electricity per day. Production and imports total around 7,000 megawatts, but demand is twice as high. http://news.yahoo.com/iraq-names-electricity-minister-134326303.html;_ylt=Ar9hij0Z1xhMQE873xXY8gpvaA8F;_ylu=X3oDMTNpaTVza3I3BG1pdAMEcGtnAzQ2YzBmY2JhLTJjMzUtMzQ1Yy1hMmEwLTE5ZGVmY2FmMDZmNgRwb3MDNQRzZWMDbG5fTWlkZGxlRWFzdF9nYWwEdmVyAzNhNjgyOTQwLWYzNDYtMTFlMC1iZGZlLWVkN2E4ZTk5YTcyNQ--;_ylv=3
  6. If they delete the three zeros, and RV later... how will we know whether our notes are still worth 25,000 or 25?
  7. It's going to feel a helluva lot longer if he hits the bong.
  8. It is, it is... Do me a favor and start blowing in the GOI direction... once the RV happens, then we'll talk
  9. I know I know... I just like to occasionally poke back, that's all
  10. Oh, hug me. That's why I never initially posted a new thread about it since I had no real substance. My point in this post was to state that I've heard the same thing from someone else, and that's why it's not hard for me to believe it. That's all.
  11. I had heard that there was a letter sent to US banks stating that this money is ready for redistribution, that's the only reason I believe this rumor. I heard from someone I work with who is also invested, but she couldn't tell me her husband's source because he wouldn't tell her either. I didn't post it here because I don't have the name/bank/link/source/dude's name/ blah blah blah... but I will say that this backs the rumor up that I had heard.
