Thank you for this discussion....It is very hard to understand alot of these articles, so I read most of the comments
to see what others opinions of them are. Try very hard to stay objective and not go off in lala land of just reading
into them what I want them to say. I do admit, it is not an easy task!!!

Now, I am confused.....I have heard the reason the US would buy back our invested dinar is to use it to purchase our oil?
Otherwise, will they have to return it to Iraq and then Iraq will have to have the money to buy it all back??? Yes, I am now

I think they are preparing their post closing trial balances. I definitely see that they are using Dec 31th as the end of their yearly accounting cycle. Sounds like they are zeroing out all their temporary expense and revenue accounts as well as credit and debit balances to an income summary. This also tells me they definitely have a budget they are adhering to which is good news. I believe it when they say the December drop was due to political uncertainty and difficulties from neighboring countries....it goes much farther than this. As the EU continues to spiral down out of control it will create a trickle down affect increasing the cost of goods that Iraq purchases!
Using "the rules of the game" I can just about see what direction they are headed!!!
What direction do you see them going?????

Agree. I still have two co-workers over there working for a small co called Tri-Power Systems just recently bought out by Allied Energy. They lease electricity into the grid with trailer mounted back-up diesel gen-sets. They both e-mail me often. Things are getting worse, not better. Even the Green Zone is becoming a battle field near embassy row.
The IQD RV hype & talk has all but disappeared on the media. Parliament is at an impass. Nothing significant is going on right now. Zilch. They are not saying RV won't happen. It may be the calm before the storm or may be put on temporary hold. Take this how you will. It may not be anytime soon.

Hello All,
As we grow closer to maybe cashing in on our investment, I have a question for all of you.
I have purchased all my dinar here and there, when I had a few bucks, from Ebay. I only
purchased from USA sellers and ones who had great feedback and a lot of it. I only have
a small amount (under 300,000) and am hoping I will be able to cash it out somewhere,
and am hoping that the dinar will NOT have to be purchased by currency dealers only as
I read today in the Dinar Banker exchange section:
Currency of questionable origin, currency imported illegally to the US, and currency purchased from unlicensed dealers will not be exchanged.
Now I am concerned and am wondering if anyone knows if this will be an issue at the banks?
