My thoughts exactly.....

Killings happen everywhere true, and lots of domestic violence. But on a good note, here we do not get to call it "Honor Killings" and get away with it... there are consequences here (for the most part). JMO ....

I cant imagine being a women living in Iraq. It is their way of life, I understand that but it is so sad to see how under valued the women are. I have often told my husband that I am so grateful to be living in America today.... We have so many freedoms so many things to make our lives easier and more comfortable. As messed up as things are here at times, I am always glad that I am here not there.......

Wow that is crazy! I do hope they fight it and win. We have had them at our home, youth nights at our home, baptisms in our pool....but my neighbors are always told in advance that we will have a big group of people here. They are all supportive! If it is not disrupting the neighborhood than why the heck would the neighbor complain? Maybe because they didn't get an invite? Hmmm, I do not like nosy mean spirited neighbors

More on the weather……………. How DRY Is It in Texas ? A man from Longview said he'd killed a mosquito that was carrying a canteen. A man in Lubbock said the chicken farmers were giving the chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs. In Lake Palestine , someone caught a 20 lb catfish that had ticks on it! But just this week, in Bryan , a fire hydrant was seen bribing a dog. It's so dry in Texas that the Baptists are starting to baptize by sprinkling, The Methodists are using wet-wipes, The Presbyterians are giving out rain-checks, And the Catholics are praying for the wine to turn back into water. Now THAT's Dry! Remember: Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - It has no point!

Good advice for sure, do not run out and buy more off of a post you see on here. I know that everyone is tired of seeing these posts but I do feel that it is closer than ever ....so I guess I get my hopes up sometimes...ok alot lately.
