I'm enjoying all the recent news. It would be great to see an RV before the conference. It has been a long eight year wait for me. WHY FINANCE IN IRAQ? Iraq’s financial system is antiquated and huge opportunities for investment are available across the entire banking and financial system. Iraq is actively moving to an open free-market economy and the regeneration of the country’s financial services is widely seen as a precursor to the reconstruction of the country as a whole. Iraq is on the verge of a boom in project finance as massive industrial projects, power plants, and general infrastructure projects are established. Foreign investors have been granted the same rights as domestic investors. Iraq's new Investment Law guarantees a climate where foreign investment is actively encouraged and facilitated. "]The Central Bank of Iraq, as well as the Ministry of Finance, have adopted policies to fight inflation and strengthen the Iraqi Dinar. Red tape and bureaucracy are being removed and Iraq’s banking and financial services industry is poised to develop rapidly in the coming years. http://www.iraqfinance.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=31&Itemid=17

My cousin who worked in Iraq for many years got me into this investment. I invested knowing that employees of Halliburton are invested too. Having a degree in finance, I threw economics, common sense and a war torn country to the side. If the investment and risk was good enough for Halliburton executives its good enough to me. If I lose they lose, which gives me great comfort. I don't believe anything anyone says including the IMF and the privately owned central bank of Iraq. LOP, NO LOP, trillions, no trillions, oil, no oil, who cares? I anticipate us all seeing a nice return on our money when this 10 year plan to fleece Iraq is complete. Fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, globalization and murder. Things are looking good.
