  1. Another whining baby story. Oh, you are such a drama queen. wha wha. O.k are you thorough crying, you baby? pass the HCL, pump some oil, quit letting the tribal leaders write your whiny baby articles and get on with a real government that takes care of its poor people.
  2. Baghdad Monday the parliamentary finance committee confirmed Monday that the economic situation in Iraq is going through a very dangerous phase, calling on the government to resort to external borrowing manner (oil for money) on the oil for food style. The committee member said Sarhan Ahmad’s “Eye Iraq News” that “what Iraq is going through the collapse of the economy and the bankruptcy is because of corruption and the corrupt who have looted and squandered public money,” noting that “the recovery of the Iraqi economy is to fight corruption seriously the fact that corruption the main reason, including going through Iraqi economy. "And between Sarhan that “the employees salaries treatment should take place through external borrowing to stop the collapse of the economy with a declaration of war on corruption, so do not go the money back to the muggers,”explaining that “Iraq can borrow from some countries through its oil and be similar to the situation as it was before “oil for food” and now be “oil for money” The likely Finance Minister Joshyar Zebari, on Monday, the inability to staff the distribution of salaries in the month of April, in the event of continued low oil prices. Iraq has been going through an economic crisis because of lower oil prices, and Anfaqath in the war against al “Daash”. my take is: Iraq is being typical drama queen in the way they discuss their corrupt government officials, looters, muggers and thieves. “ the sky is falling, the sky is falling! We are going bankrupt” I believe the word “plugging the budget deficit means that if the price of oil continues to fall, they will not be able to make payroll in April. So they need to get the HCL into law, have the Kurds pump MORE oil, pay them the 17%, give the 83% back to Baghdad so they can meet payroll in April. With that said, their reserves are dangerously low for sure and they are in the middle of a civil war.
  3. take care of your yourself texas1. We will miss you. Don't worry, we will take notes for you of all the changes you missed.
  4. Thank you Yota and GM DV. It looks like they are focused on getting this resolved, instead of focusing on their differences. A new refreshing tone. Look how many times they used the word agree or agreement in this piece. I find this amazing since the oil prices have fallen so much. Go Iraq; Get it done; first reading coming up.
  5. For being infallible, he has a wonky eye, but don't tell him. He looks like a nice guy. I am surprised some hollywood celebrity hasn't named their child "infallible"
  6. Thanks Yota. Excellent. A good way to start 2016. come on Laid Back, give us your affirmations.
  7. Yota, many thanks for your post on next steps, clarity of thought on Jan 1. very impressive on many levels.
  8. looking for activation of the tariff law and the budget today. Happy New Year and Good Morning Yota and DV.
  9. The oil and gas law of important laws , but he had previously introduced in the previous legislative session of Parliament, did not get the agreement passed. I thought it was approved?
  10. Thug, you are the best. I did not know that he has been debunked several times. must have got him confused with someone else. Many thanks.
  11. Thank you djgabrielie1 for the information. I did not know. Even my second post was not what i wrote. I didn't get a warning, but certainly my 2 posts make very little sense, but it wasn't important anyway. You too have a great day.
  12. This post above got really messed up, even the title was changed and i can't edit it. I had the title as another site and it switched to "another site" maybe someone could fix it. The information was from another site. I think his banknote count is high and was wondering what the group here thought?
  13. another site When military operations first began in Iraq, in March 2003, there was no set plan in play for the Iraqi economy. The Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA), along with the Iraqi interim government, created a new Iraqi dinar currency on 15 October 2003 and ended on 15 January 2004. The Iraqi government plan was to distribute 4.5 trillion new Iraqi dinars in a one for one exchange throughout the country. The money supply has increased to about 40 trillion banknotes on deposit and in circulation since 2004.
  14. +1 for you gregp. Thanks for the rebar info. Turkey really needs to clean up its act.
  15. Not surprising. Turkey has been buying oil from Isis for awhile. Sanctions need to come down hard on Turkey. Here's hoping Barzani has a productive meeting with Turkey.
  16. It is just the normal Friday week end day off. Auctions will show up again on Sunday.
  17. GM Yota and DV. Merry Christmas to everyone. Maliki and TonyTNT both going to the slammer. Both greedy bast...s and liars. Justice served and maybe they can be pen pals and talk about the good old days.
  18. So the CBI made the switch to reduce the value of the dinar on Dec 1 to 1182. I wonder why it took them this long to report it?
  19. Thank you Thug for the post. Great to see them finishing things before year end. They seem less tribal, and more inclusive.
  20. MP for the coalition of state law Jabbar al-Abadi, Thursday, that the Kurdistan region will not receive "one penny" from the general budget if it does not abide by the payment of 550 thousand barrels of oil, while warned of a "problem" in the payment of salaries if oil prices continued to decline. There is always a catch for the Kurds. 1.5 million refugees, bombings, accounting/payment issues. Sometimes it sucks to be a Kurd. (comic sans font, because it is comical)
  21. I am watching active trading from Rabee and nothing out of the ordinary. A few more hours before close of business in Iraq. I did enjoy the entertainment from this thread. more fun than some of Luigi's.
  22. Yota, I can't thank you enough for all you did today. WOW!!! Does the budget or HCL have to be published in the Gazette to become effective or are we done, done done? cautiously optimistic due to similar past december.
  23. It is heartwarming to see all the articles that are/have been voted on. What a difference is it with Maliki not running the show. During that reign, we were happy if there was a quorum. Thank you Yota for all your perseverance and hard work. I am encouraged. I hope Santa gives you lots of goodies.
