I know why they continue to chase oil from other sources.......It really is very simple. why not suck out the supply of all the resources from any country than our own. If we use other countries reserves first it keeps ours for later. Believe me there will come a time the treehuggers will be thrown to the wayside and the resources in our own country will be tapped....when the resources overseas have been sucked dry. I live in Canada and we have some of the biggest oil reserves in the world as well.....but we continue to look elsewhere for our supply. I think that sooner or later we will be using our reserves as well.... jmho cheers Blue

I think things are happening in Iraq and lots of good forward movement into a country that has super potential. If Iraq can work together and focus on the building of their country there is no doubt that the currency will increase in value. It seems that soon the world will be investing into Iraq. with so much wealth under their feet it makes perfect sense that growth and development go hand in hand. joining the wto and removal of the sanctions make growth even faster. we are looking at a country that is building from the ground up. where will Iraq be in the next few years??? only time will tell. cheers to all that take the step into the unknown.....and hopefully we reap the rewards for our endeavors. I believe that most banks are not so keen on this investment as they dont offer the IQD as a tradeable currency within their institution...with that being said many institutions are not familiar with how this currency is being traded. In Canada our banks rely on sources like thomas cook for these type of currencies...ie not normaly traded. when you want to sell dinar the banks here say they can only take your dinar and give you a credit showing the amount they took and once they have received the conversion from a trader/ they can tell you what the rate you got is.....they then credit your acount....they are not prepared to give you immediate conversion like they would with the pound or euro etc. This may change when it goes live on forex. I have been told that the time to get your credit could take up to 3 days . cheers .... I hope this helps. Blue

I wish you the best.....for many of us, we got into this investment from a hope and dream of a close friend. I believe that Iraq has the potential to become a very strong country and with that the IQD should follow its strength as well. I think that it is best to work on the reality of day to day life and tuck your Dinars in a safe place. We will all know when this becomes a reality by seeing this as a tradeable currency on FOREX. Untill that time enjoy your family and just be glad you are where you are in the world......it could always be worse somewhere else. :0) P.S.
