Hello Everyone,

I am a former POW and 100% disabled. My background is in security and law enforcement which began in 1976 while in the USMC. I was selected to train as a Marine Security Guard to work with the Department of State as a guard at US Embassies overseas. After a 2 year at the US Mission in Geneva, Switzerland, I was transferred to Tehran, Iran where I was held by militants who overtook the embassy and kept the staff hostage for 444 days. Myself and 13 others were released after 18 days. After my military service I held various security positions in private industry from security guard to Director of Security. In 1983, I accepted employment with MPDC in Washington, DC. As a police officer I held many different positions, from patrol officer, emergency response team (negotiator), special events (dignitary protection) to training instructor (DC Code). In April of 2009, I suffered kidney failure and was forced to retire on disability.
