brob, Mr Issa responded to my request with a new password today. But it didn't work!! Returned a nice message to the e-bank department as Mr. Issa advised. I still have a glimmer of hope. BTW; my buddy with an account in excess of $10k in Warka has to this day been unable to access his stock portfolio. It's been 1.5 years since either one of us has seen a balance on our equities.

The CBI took the 50 Dinar note out of circulation because(in their words) there may be confusion to the citizen when the 50K note gets released. Well how can the citizen stay free from confusion with the 500 Dinar note still in circulation? lots to think about with this new policy

I want everyone to know that I also contacted our own State Department with ZERO response on this issue. Should any of us be surprised? We're supporting financially a state of crooks in Iraq! all for corporate america............IMO

It's been since June/25 for me. Cut off from my account just in time for the interest to be posted. But I know for a fact Warka is servicing accounts through E-Banking with a value of more than $10,000.00. I have had Zero response even from the CBI in regards to the service problems with Warka. Iraqi financials are being managed by crooks!!

FT, I did what you suggested last week and received ZERO response from even the CBI. Both Warka and the CBI are crooked entities as far as I'm concerned! I'm happy for you though that they got your email. Have you now been able to access your accounts with Warka?

3C3, I did all the same things you have with no results. I even e-mailed the CBI with a formal complaint 3 days ago. So far even the CBI has not even acknowledged my e-mail. So as far as I'm concerned the CBI is just as dishonest with depositors. What I can tell you is that anyone with an account with deposits in excess of $10,000.00 USD gets red carpet treatment. Meaning full access by e-banking to their funds at Warka. Warka Bank is a real disappointment to say the least. So all we can do is wait until Warka gets good and ready to allow all their small depositors access.

The taxes cannot be applied until all points of entry are connected electronically to the CBI and GOI. This will require electricity 24/7. when this is completed it will most certainly put the iron fist on corruption and theft by officials at Iraq's border and port entry's. So this has nothing to do with an R/I .....IMO

LGD, Have you ever visited an Arab country? If you have you would have found it difficult to find an honest man. The entire culture is built on dishonesty for survival. International banking standards are forcing Iraq to become honest for investment purposes. This is a long shot given you have a thousand years+ of a culture steeped in lying....IMO

My close friend has never been cut off from his funds with Warka Bank No E-Bank problems what so ever. He does maintain a balance in excess of $10,000. I am thinking that he is a VIP with Warka and the rest of us are people of dirt! Question; Does anyone else have problems with Warka while maintaining a $10K+ balance?
