  1. pastel porker's pleasingly plump profile plastered with polyglycerides... I had Gaurd Drill this weekend, so wasn't really able to get on the forum...and almost had withdrawals.
  2. It's always been my plan to "expand" my collection when the RV happens. Have my eye on a 9mm pistol for the fiance, a 9mm Carbine for me (just for plinking of course), get my .45 Long Colt revolver to the gunsmith for a tune up, and thinking about buying a reproduction double-barrel coach gun so I can get into 3 gun cowboy action shooting - and maybe break down and get a reproduction Winchester repeater in .45 LC. What the heck...why not?
  3. Had a business meeting last nigh - so late on my post! Not that anyone really missed me I'm sure. Saw the posts with the T-shirts - really hope it gets cleared up soon - would like mine by next Thursday. No - not making an RV prediction, but I am going to Rockin' the Rivers, a 3 day classic rock music festival, and would love to have the Pink Piggy Underground shirt by then...just to make people go That - and I can see if anyone in the (literally) thousands who attend this thing from all over the US and Canada are DV members - plus maybe Ace Freely or Pat Benetar will get a kick out of it. Trials and tribulations test tankdude's transfer of tradable trinkets towards totally tubular t-shirt!
  4. While we wait - I like the "Bringing home the Bacon" for the back - nice touch. If it was me - I'd put on "Always alert and always alleviating angry attitudes"
  5. Is that a Ford torus? (couldn't resist) Kind of like a Klein bottle of Miller Lite... Actually Redox molecules are one of the newest areas of celular research. They are the prime antioxidant activators. In fact if your cells quit making these molecules, you wouldn't survive more than a half hour. Found a product that supplements them - science behind it is really neat.
  6. BJinMontreal's botanical bravado brings about brief burst of bonsai bereavement?
  7. Mother: Cattle mutilations are up. Donald Crease: Don't. Mother: Sorry. Sneakers - 1992
  8. Sounds like a good idea Graham. A design page would be good - or at least a page where you could load up a .gif or .jpg and people could view them. As for donation to the non-profit - I would like to nominate the Wounded Warrior program.
  9. My quantum physics is better than my chaos theory but not as good as my cellular chemistry. (not to "string" you along) BTW - have you heard of Redox Signalling molecules? New studies showing that they can do amazing things to help repair cellular damage.
  10. Pink piggy postulates possible purchase of packaged polyester plumage! Pray, pink piggy, preview possible price? Pretty please? (And I thought I was getting dehydrated...) Mack - we need to get together for a Scrabble game after this thing Rvs. You seem like a worthy opponent. I love word origons too. I remember studying Latin when I was in college (Actually had a Roman Catholic priest for a teacher) So now whenever I see the scene in "Life of Brian" where the centurion is correcting his grammar for his graffitti I laugh harder than anyone. Centurion: What's this, then? "Romanes eunt domus"? People called Romanes, they go, the house? Brian: It says, "Romans go home. " Centurion: No it doesn't ! What's the latin for "Roman"? Come on, come on ! Brian: Er, "Romanus" ! Centurion: Vocative plural of "Romanus" is? Brian: Er, er, "Romani" ! Centurion: [Writes "Romani" over Brian's graffiti] "Eunt"? What is "eunt"? Conjugate the verb, "to go" ! Brian: Er, "Ire". Er, "eo", "is", "it", "imus", "itis", "eunt". Centurion: So, "eunt" is...? Brian: Third person plural present indicative, "they go". Centurion: But, "Romans, go home" is an order. So you must use...? [He twists Brian's ear] Brian: Aaagh ! The imperative ! Centurion: Which is...? Brian: Aaaagh ! Er, er, "i" ! Centurion: How many Romans? Brian: Aaaaagh ! Plural, plural, er, "ite" ! Centurion: [Writes "ite"] "Domus"? Nominative? "Go home" is motion towards, isn't it? Brian: Dative ! [the Centurion holds a sword to his throat] Brian: Aaagh ! Not the dative, not the dative ! Er, er, accusative, "Domum" ! Centurion: But "Domus" takes the locative, which is...? Brian: Er, "Domum" ! Centurion: [Writes "Domum"] Understand? Now, write it out a hundred times. Brian: Yes sir. Thank you, sir. Hail Caesar, sir. Centurion: Hail Caesar ! And if it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your (deleted) off.
  11. mmmm - Especially if you toss a couple of fried eggs on top of it...Now we're talking!
  12. Coffee - sure. Hmmm....caffeinated bacon? We could have the epitome of breakfast foods!
  13. I just passed my Army Physical Fitness Test and re-enlisted in the National Guard for another 3 years...That will put me at 30 years service. Good thing about that is I get to keep my federal job for another 3 years too! (Federal excepted employee - have to be in the National Guard in order to have my job) My bank considers that really good news!
  14. beginning to think I shouldn't have tossed out that gauntlet.... Ok - letter X for alliteration - but - being an English major, i have an out! alliteration is defined as "The repetition of the same sounds or of the same kinds of sounds at the beginning of a word (Yes, I included a link) Read more: http://www.answers.com/topic/alliteration#ixzz1TwHlcOGU ummm...Ok....Xanthic xenophobes exactingly x-rayed xyloid xylophones expecting excessive xeric xylem - but - Pink Piggy's prognostications precluded pandemic paranoia, primairly proposing peaceful propositions!!! Porcine practicality predicates positive preperations!! All hail the Piggy!!!!
  15. Well done BJ! Awsomely articulate alliteration aficianados actually accrue avid admirers...
  16. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PLACE THAT CAN BE DEFENDED WELL. EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPLIES, WATER, MEDICAL SUPPLIES. GUNS ARE A GOOD IDEA. LOOK INTO AQUAPONICS - GREAT WAY TO HAVE A SUSTAINABLE FRESH FOOD SOURCE IN A SMALL SPACE lets see - live 2 miles out of town on a 1/2 acre with one road in. Got my own garden, half a beef in the freezer, my own back up generator, on a well, case of MREs in the garage, fiance and I both enjoy pistol shooting so we each have our own, love bird hunging so got my 12 ga., and still have my deer rifle in the closet (even though I didn't go hunting last year...just too busy.) Sounds like I'm good. Of course all this has nothing to do with preparedness...I just live in rural Montana!
  17. Hey Cisole....I think I'm getting dehydrated (running out of "p" that is - yeah - I know -sorry- ) How about when you start the next countdown post you pick the letter and I'll do my best wit (sic) the alliteration? (pun intended)
