  1. Technically, the CBI is independent, and does not need Parliments approval to make an RV happen - but they do need Parliements approval to provide budget for printing of new currency, a budget for education of citizens, the laws to help create an electonic infastructure to support the bankins system, etc. It's a lot more convoluted and complex than just one person saying "OK - Do it". The timing, the support structure and the political atmosphere all have to support the decision. Things are looking good to me - I thing there is a STRONG possibility of this popping real soon...if I was a betting man (which I guess I am since I own IQD) - I would say about the 15th of the month if they can get everyone on the same sheet of music on the HCl - and I'm hoping for a rate of about $1.10 - 1.25. Hey PIGGY - I just put up a date and rate - can I get a countdown? *lol*
  2. I'm not an Okie fan, but gotta give him some style points for properly using "faunching". Believe it or not, it is a real word - a verb meaning to rage or fight against restraint. Guess what - I even have a link! *lol* http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=faunch Hate trying to post from my Blackberry - always have to come back in and edit.
  3. Faunch - verb-to rage or storm in nervous agitation. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=faunch
  4. Iraqi Air Force commander Lt.-Gen. Anwar Hamad Amin has said that the force is still young and that it would take years of training and huge investments, which are currently unavailable, before it will be capable of defending Iraqi skies. He said that while the decision on protecting the skies is political, from a technical viewpoint Iraq needs the Americans to help. This statement contradicts an earlier statement by Iraqi Deputy Chief of Staff Gen. Nassif al-Ibadi that the protection of Iraqi skies will be entirely in the hands of Iraqis and that no Americans would be involved. Nassif said that a group of airmen are currently in the U.S. for training to operate the 18 F16 fighter jets that Iraq has purchased from the U.S. Iraq would like to purchase as many as 96 F16s by 2020. 5. Baghdad - The U.S. should accelerate delivery of F16 fighter jets so that Iraq can fortify its air defense before the U.S. withdrawal by end of 2011, spokesman for Iraqi Defense Ministry said. The country still relies on U.S. forces for air support for its troops. The United States formally ended combat missions in Iraq last year and American soldiers are now mainly advising and assisting the Iraqi military. Speaking to AKnews shortly after a meeting between the acting Defense Minister Saadun al-Dalimi and the U.S. Secretary of the Air Force Michael B. Donley, Maj.Gen. Mohammed al-Askari told AKnews on Tuesday that the meeting was to accelerate the enforcement of the contract to purchase F16 fighter jets. Officials also discussed providing Iraq with more air defense facilities, warplanes for training purposes and intelligence aircrafts. Planes to purchase the fighters were disclosed early this year. Initially 18 F16 jets were demanded from Lockheed Martin. Late July Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki said the demand has been doubled for boosting the air forces. Iraq's air force is one of the weakest branches of its armed forces, which are still battling insurgents and militias more than eight years after the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Sunni dictator Saddam Hussein. The initial purchase of the F-16s was delayed after government put 900 million dollars of allocated funds into its national food program to ease pressure from Iraqis protesting against poor basic services. © AK News 2011 http://www.zawya.com/story.cfm/sidZAWYA20110907101514/Iraq_urges_US_hasten_delivery_of_F16_fighter
  6. I'm going to do sme techno-geek speculating here. It appears that this site is hosted by Runbox, which s a web hosting firm in Oslo,Norway. Looking at their terms and plans, I see they have a bandwith restriction on even there extnded web hosting package. Here is where the speculation kicks in. The CBI have had so many people checking their website, the busted their bandwidth cap. Thus, they incurred extra charges for the month. Most company plans state payment by the 1st of the month, with a 5 day grace perod. The CBI was closed the first 3 days of this month - so I think someone just dropped the ball on getting the bill paid on time. Even in iraq a large company still has to deal with inter-office bureaucracy.
  7. I believe Adam was counting from the first work day after Eid Al-Fatir, which is the 4th. Take into account the "weekend" and you get the 13th. I think even the Iraqi government can see that an RV on the 11th would be a world political faux pas.
  8. My basic plan after RV- Pay my Fed and State taxes - about 45% (then hope they rule that it can be done under Capital Gains and do a 1040X to get some of it back) Tithe to my church - 10% Pay off all my bills to become debt free - including mortgage. Set up college trust funds for the daughters Get a "new to her" jeep for my fiance Gets some repairs done on my Explorer (want my 4 wheel capability drive back) Get some nice to have stuff - like a generator, another couple guns, ammo, and a bunch of canned/freeze dried food. (Not because I'm a survivalist, but because I live in Rural Montana...oh - guess that makes me a survivalist out of necessity *lol*) With whatever is left - precious metals and mutual funds.
  9. Exec - thanks for the info. This ties in with a number of things I've read and planned on your last scenario you suggested. Pay it as regular income, and hope sometime in the future I can file a 1040X for amended return *lol*. I also plan on paying my estimated state taxes before I file my fed return, so I can deduct that tax payment on the fed side. I've only had my own business for a few years, but courtesy of a pretty sharp CPA friend I have learned a few things. I have to admit - I think everyone should have a home based business just for the write - offs!
  10. I did a search on "IRS 15% TAX' in Google, Yahoo, and Bing - nothing of signifigance...
  11. Not sure what Defensive Condition 1 (DEFCON1) has to do with all this...
  12. I will add you to my prayers tonight. - and hopefully this windfall wil happen and ease some of your burden. if God so wills it. (.I thinks it's appropriate to throw in an "In Sh'Allah' here)
  13. Ummm..hate to be the bearer of bad news - but not so. At least not in the US. It has never been adopted by the banking system here. http://www.snopes.com/business/bank/pinalert.asp http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_reverse_pin.htm
  14. took me a bit, but I narrowed it down to Credible
  15. The Shadow knows... Mr. Spock: "It's just as I suspected captain - we have an RV off the starboard bow closing in at warp 2.1. Unable to estimate date or rate because of computer malfunctions." CPT Kirk: "Dammit man - I need answers, not facts!"
  16. I see some things haven't changed since I was there in 2004-2005. They 're still setting off rockets in the river bottom and the rubbles fields.
  17. Going to tithe 10%, pay off all my bills - including the mortgage and set up trust/college funds for the daughters. If I have enough left get a "new to me" Jeep (even with a bunch of money I'm not buying a New car - depreciate 15% as soon as I drive it off the lot? Won't have my money very long if I keep doing that kind of stuff - plus keeps low profile) Then, stock up with supplies (generator, gas, food, water, ammo, etc) just because I live in MT - not because I believe anything huge is going to happen. Just brought up to always be prepared. After that, if there something left - I'm thinking Gold, Silver, and Mutual funds.
  18. Thanks - I talked to his Son today and He said He'd do the same...
  19. Got this in my email yesterday and sent it out to everyone on my list. Thanks for doing your part my friend. Personally, I already fly my flag on a 12' flagpole 24/7 (yep - solar spotlight for night). Fly the POW/MIA flag right below it. Now I need to get another flagpole so I can fly the US Army coat of arms... "This we will defend"
  20. *taps mic to PA System - large echo!* Now pitching - Manny Mota ...mota...mota....
  21. Another area of health science you might want to look at is Redox Signaling Molecules. If you haven’t heard of Redox Signaling molecules, they’re what your body creates to support the vital functions of the immune system. They’re so important that the body manufactures its own supply within the cells. Redox Signalling molecules are so essential to life, that if your cells quit making them, you would die in a matter of hours. When the mitochondria inside of cells create energy, they also spin off 2 types of thes molecules. One set of these molecules is responsible for activating antioxidants. Here’s the deal: no matter how many antioxidants you ingest, they can’t fight even one free radical until they’re activated, so these molecules are important. The other set of molecules are essential for cellular communication, cellular protection, and the healing response. We live and die at the cellular level. Our bodies are programmed for health; programmed to protect, repair, and replace our cells there is now a way to supplement these Redox signalling molecules. I've used it for over a year now and I've seen some good things happen for me - and a lot of others. Here's a link for more info. This is truly a new discovery - less than 50,000 people in the world even know of this...and I can prove that statement. Any questions - youi can get hold of me thorough a link in this site - yep - I'll admit it - shameless self promotion *lol* http://powerup.teamasea.com/
