I too am blessed with a toddler and I am looking forward to embarking on many new adventures with her and her awesome Mommy (my bride). Dang...it's fun to dream.

I too have too much time on my hands, and am looking forward to having even more time. I think each of us will figure out a positive solution when this thing breaks.

Thanks for the post. Just because there is alot of BS out there doesn't mean everything is BS. The "Guru's only have to be right once.

A 1-1 RV always made the most sense to me. Iraq wants to de-Dollarize (is that actually a word?) and a 1-1 initial RV certainly makes the transition (and subsequent transactions) simpler. -
Well Feller...Ifun uh man wuz uh reeferrin to RV in theze hear parts, hed be jawing bout the old home place. Why 4 you be uh askin?

Waiting to RV after the US troops are gone would be about as smart as holding a dinner party and waiting for the guests to arrive before you remove the meat from the freezer to thaw. In other words, revaluing sooner is certainly more prudent from a security standpoint than waiting to the last minute. I agree with you…is does seem to fit right in with the articles we have been seeing. -

This is great news for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, we get our troops home. Secondly, this puts the heat on Maliki to get the Chapter 7 sanctions lifted in order to possess the WMD’s necessary to defend his country. A subsequent RV gives Iraq the funds necessary to purchase the once banned weaponry and viola…the ride is over for all of us. Conversely, if Maliki fails to get Chapter 7 lifted and no RV, Iraq is potentially a sitting duck with little more than small arms to defend themselves. This could subject our investment to an uncomfortable uncertainty. I have little faith in the latter scenario.
