I respect the LOPsters right to voice their opinions. I am also aware that many of them are being paid to”reverse pump” as evidenced by the ratio of sellers vs buyers. The CBI’s primary focus for the last year or so has been to suck in as much dinar as they can. Again…if a LOP was the plan all along then why bother to reduce circulation via auctions? The fiscal year LOP argument is like me telling you I am waiting to the first of the year to exchange my 4 quarters in for a dollar. It simply doesn’t make any sense. The mis-information campaign is in full swing as it should be. We will get ours. It is just a question (as usual) of when and for how much.

If the intention of the CBI is to LOP the zeros and replace the currency then why wait till the beginning of the fiscal year? A LOP, being a zero sum event, would render any fiscal timeline irrelevant.

Stryker sent me a text about an hour ago regarding a conversation with his translator. His translator told him he watched on Arab TV an announcement that the HCL had been agreed upon and is being sent to Parliament for final approval. Additionally, it appears all the oil contracts will get (or are getting) paid along with the funds owed to the Kurdish military. This seems to indicate Erbil may be done and just not announced yet.

In short, I believe (some) lopsters are being paid to discourage people into selling their dinar (reverse pumping). I had this very conversaton with Stryker today and his intel suggests that sellers are out pacing the buyers 3-1. If you noticed the many recent articles suggesting nothing will happen until 2013-2018, it all makes sense. The CBI reads our forums and continually strategizes on ways to decrease their liability and improve their position. Guru's come in many forms...

Keep...I think Stryker's point it this, and I will put it into a language we car guys can understand. Why would Iraq take years and millions of dollars going to the trouble of designing and engineering a state-of-the-art BMW when their intention all along was to simply KEEP riding a camel? Yota...this is a long read but well worth the time. It appears this group is adressing all the important points of Erbil in addition to listening to all the blocs without marginalizing any group. If and when they finally have a national meeting, it will be to simply announce the ministers and the unity of Iraq and subsequently Erbil, which is the key to our investment. If they proceed fast and effectively, we cash in soon. If not, we wait. Thanks for the post...
