  1. Thanks for the surprise Sunday post, Adam, not that the last of it was especially uplifting. And I have to ask: How much credence do you place in the .10 scenario, vs something in the neighborhood of $1? Rendog
  2. Hi Adam I posted this in VIP more a week or so ago, and am still very curious as to your thoughts. When I originally posted, there seemed to be a lot of chit chat with regard to the "dropping of three zeros." I suspect you have addressed this question in the past, and it still haunts me insofar as ... what three zeros are they likely to "drop?" The 25,000 IQD becomes 25 IQD, or .00086 valuation becomes .86? Thank you. Rendog

  4. Hi Adam At the expense of being a nag, I wrote several weeks ago with this same question: When Dinarians talk about Iraq "lifting the zeros," are they referencing removing the zeros from the currency (25,000 dinar note), or are they referencing the removing the zeros for the current value of the dinar in today's market (.00086, give or take)? You were kind enough to respond that you would be issuing your analysis of what it all means, "shortly." As I have not seen anything from you, about it, I thought I'd try again. Thanks Rendog
  5. there are two kinds of lops: the currency lop, which would remove the three zeros from the currency we hold, making a 25,000 note worth 25, as opposed to lopping the three zeros from the actual value of the dinar (.00086, give or take). Which approach do you perceive to be the more likely? Thanks Rendog
  6. Hello Adam I receive Irag-Business News, and today, Nov. 22, the following was posted, and I wonder your take insofar as how the move could impact the value of the Dinar? Thanks "Iraj Masjedi said Tehran and Baghdad are considering plans to use Iraqi dinar for trade transactions or develop barter trade considering the banking problems caused by the US sanctions on Iran."
  7. There have been posts recently suggesting Maliki may have a shot at gaining more supporters than Abadi in the coming elections, and thus becoming the face of Iraq, once again, with all that brings. If Abadi is in such a tenuous position in his government, and he could theoretically avoid losing power by orchestrating an RV, why doesn't he?
  8. I'm new to Coinbase; want to buy Ripple; is it possible to do that, or do you have to stick with the four Coinbase has posted on their site ... Bitcoin, Etherium etc.? Thanks
  9. If you were surfing Avila, then you MUST HAVE also surfed Hollister Ranch, Pt. Conception. Jalama, Cap Pt., etc. Best surf in the US of A
  10. You mentioned you used to hitch hike to the beach to surf ... which beach, if I may be so bold?
  11. Politifact and Snopes both saying Schultz and Ellison were standing and clapping for Owen, and that photo of them sitting was taken earlier in the presentation. Both accusing Conway of "fake news."
  12. Hi Adam I guess the question for me is: Assuming your scenario is correct -- they initially RV at .10, less 25%, which has my 2M dinar worth $150K. Following your reasoning, that the dinar will slowly rise from that .10, to .15, and ultimately (hopefully) to $1, $2 or more, what sort of time frame do you foresee for that to happen -- from.10 to .15, and finally to a buck?
  13. Hey, Synopsis, thanks for your easy-to-understand explanation about lifting/dropping the zeros. After all these years, I can relax. Ren
  14. I'm sure an explanation to this question has been given multitudinous times, and I still don't get it: When the conversation involves the deletion of the three-zeros, and every note I possess has three zeros, where does such a deletion leave me? Thanks
  15. Hi Adam Been in this for six or so years; follow it daily, always with hope; and while this may be a stupid question at this late date, it's become a nag of late: Can you answer with any degree of surety, is this an "IF," or a "WHEN"? Thanks Ren
  16. Having been to Nepal several times, and loving the culture and the people ... the beauty of both ... it is disheartening that the U.S. government has failed so miserably in stepping up with aid for these wonderful people. In the past, natural disasters have elicited the very best response ... and millions of dollars ... from our people and our country. And what better way for the Clinton "foundation" to make a positive statement on Hillarious's behalf, than to take a paltry $10M or $15M from their travel fund and spend the money for what it was ostensibly intended.
  17. The idea of a "basket of currencies" all undergoing an RV at the same time pops up occasionally, specifically to do with the dinar and VND. Is such a thing possible? Do currencies exist in "baskets?" Thanks Adam
  18. I've read OKIE for several years, and have concluded he is at the least a bloviator, to coin a phrase. On reading this last post, however, I worry that beyond all his BS over the years, he appears to be confronting a future much less rewarding than the future of dinars. I hope, for his sake, that is not true, and as fellow dinarians, I trust you will join me in that hope. In any event, OKIE has been an interesting co-traveler, as a guru and a dinarian, and if his journey is in fact coming to a close, God bless him. Thank you, OKIE, for your entertaining and unyielding belief that the dinar will eventually be the fruit by which we all may become fulfilled. Safe journey.
  19. Hi Adam In today's message, you said we could see an RV at $1, and then watch it slip quickly to a dime. Can you define "quickly" please? Are we talking a week? A month? I worry that I won't have sufficient time to adequately protect my ROI from Mr. Taxman, even tho I have been through the name reserve process. Thx
  20. At this point in Barama's reign, what difference does it make where he was born, or not? He has clearly sold America down the river, and it's a river of HIS choice, with the support of Harry Reid and others of his ilk. Barama's views were sold to -- and bought by -- the country in 2008; they were sold again in 2012, thanks in large part to the ineffectual message of an incompetently run establishment candidate, who may now run again? Conservatives must stop licking their wounds and make damned sure this Congress understands why it has a majority, who put them in that position, what we expect of them, and that they vote accordingly ... to save our America. And to that last point ... O'Reilly's a bloviator (sp?), clearly. Stopped watching him a couple of years ago. But don't impugn the network for one or two commentators, who espouse rather than report. They are not reporting, and they say so. FOX NEWS is still, I believe, one of the very few news sources we can turn to for hope of accuracy, and honesty of content.
  21. For tekillya, try Tonala. Pricey, and worth it. BevMo
  22. I'm VIP; I believe I've reserved a corporate name through "name reserve"; assuming I successfully complete the rest of the incorporation process, and my dinars become my retirement account in Seychelles, how do I access my new-found wealth from here in the US, without paying taxes?
  23. Hi Adam ... you may already have addressed this, and I missed it: With trillions of dinar currently in circulation, how will that number impact an RV?
  24. A Jordanian friend invested today, and suggested the worst thing Iraq could do to us is re-print the currency, making all we have bought obsolete. The possibility has not been mentiuoned in some time, and so I thought I'd ask ... again.
  25. And how 'bout if this empty suit, unqualified and unprepared politico simply gets the hell out of the way and lets America go ... XL for starters; get out of the pockets of labor; put a tax policy in place that rewards and encourages, rather than limits; start aligning and stop maligning. The majority of the country is desperate to get to work making and doing and fixing and creating. This president just doesn't seem to understand that the majority of Americans don't want his free cell phones and food stamps and 'the dole. We want to be proud to finish a day feeling tired and accomplished, whether on a fishing boat or a pipeline; a cab or a cop car; a board room or a waitress station. He doesn't know America ... he knows politics, and that is not America. America is about being first, and best and most, because it has been earned, NOT because it has been given. God bless America and the ideals on which we were founded, and to which we aspire, in spite of our confusion and disappointments and defeats at the hands of those many who would settle for less, fight for less, and impose their limited aspirations on the rest of us who know, and want, better.
