  1. Guster, I couldnt IM you. Can IM me and I will reply with my email address?
  2. Warka is back up now. Checked my account. Balances are appropriate.
  3. Steve, You have to understand that you have undertaken this process during Ramadan and that it is a lengthy one to begin with Ramadan notwithstanding. I began the process of opening my account on June 16th of this year and It was not until August 2nd that I completed the process by receiving my online login details. A wealth of information can be found in the thread "Has anyone successfully opened an account with Warka in the last 3 weeks......" Here are a few things that worked for me. There is roughly a 8-9 hour time difference between the US and Iraq I emailed between 12 am and 2 am Central time so that my emails arrived during business hours Email Saturday night through Wednesday night. They do not work on Friday and Saturday Be patient and polite. No matter how many times you email them about an issue be police. Use an email app that allows you to request a read receipt. This way you know they have received it. CC: Mr. Issa, This seems to ultimately ensure that whatever you are seeking gets done. I hope this helps you. I feel very good about being diversified in this investment. My wife and I beamed when we logged into our Warka Account for the first time and saw our funds...... Mark in Texas
  4. Dinar_O'sauras I followed the instructions Mr. Issa emailed to me. I went through Citibank and it appears they only charge $5.00 bucks.
  5. SUCCESS...................... Well folks here is the update on my experience with Warka Bank. For those of you who don't recall or wish to scroll back in this tread I will make my timeline simple. June 16th I applied for an account using Warka's online application on the old website before it was taken down and revised June 20th I made inquiry regarding the status of my account application to the accounts department June 27th I forwarded my initial inquiry to Mr. Issa July 1st Mr. Issa replied and advised that my account would be established soon. July 12th I received my account numbers via email July 13th I wired funds from my bank to Warka per their standard instructions July 20th I received confirmation that my wire was received and that once the online account access fee was deducted from my IQD account my login information would be forwarded. August 2nd I received my online account login information, logged in, and transferred my funds from my USD account to my IQD account It took me about a month and a half total time to accomplish all of this. Towards the end of June I began requesting read receipts with each email I sent. I also made it a point to email between 1 am and 2 am central time so as to ensure they reached during business hours Sunday thru Thursday. I was always respectful in my requests and follow ups even when I was frustrated about the process. It was a lengthy process but I feel it was well worth my time and effort. I hope this can be of help to others. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RV Mark in Texas
  6. tjmunson, After seeing cheerful1's post I contacted him via PM and we spoke on the phone at length. I can't vouch for the location of the branch without driving there myself tonight but I did find Cheerful1 to be genuine and definitely not a pumper. If the branch location is off by a street or two I can live with that. Mark in Texas
  7. Mtex45, I'm glad it worked out positively for you. I sent my wire to fund my account today with instructions to transfer the funds to my IQD account minus the minimum USD balance and fees. I hope I can get confirmation of my wire and e-banking set up pretty quickly. I think our diversification is key to added rewards. Mark in Texas
  8. Thanks for your post Cheerful1. I'm in Sugar Land. Send me a PM so we can compare local Houston notes
  9. Hello All, After almost a month of waiting and routine emails to Mr. Issa I have met with success. For the last three days I sent emails to the accounts dept and Mr. Issa between 1am and 2am Central time. My last email this morning was sent with a request for an email read receipt. My email was read almost instantaneously. This afternoon when I checked my email my account numbers and wiring information had been emailed to me. Bear in mind that I made my initial request before the old Warka website went down. I will be funding my account via wire as soon as possible. I hope this helps anyone interested in this option GO RV Mark in Texas
  10. I hear you Rich. Thanks for having the guts to post. Mark in Texas
  11. Hello Fellow VIP Vets, I initiated a new account request with Warka on June 16th the day before they took their website down to bring up the revamped design. On the 20th of June I followed up my online request with an email to the new accounts email address. On the 27th of June I went even further by forwarding my previous email to Mr. Issa. I checked my email this morning July 3rd and I was pleasantly surprised to find a response from Mr. Issa dated friday July 1st stating that he was forwarding my request to the appropriate department. I have enclosed the text of his response below. This is an individualized response as you can see he addressed my desire to open a joint account in the name of myself and my wife rather than a standard individual account. I hope this information is helpful to all those still interested in opening an account with Warka. A gentlemen who's name is similar to a watch had stated in an audio recording that if you had made an online account request prior to the old website going down that it would still be processed. As you can see it still takes time but I am encouraged that ultimately it will be done. I am happy to be diversifying my investment opportunity. Dear Sir, Your request will be passed to our customer accounts department to establish your joint USD and IQD savings account where once opened they will confirm your accounts details and wire transfer instructions to proceed with funding your account. Should you have any further questions or inquiries please take a moment to visit our website www.warka-bank.com news bulletin to view the latest notices and contact details of the related departments that will best handle your inquiries. We have several departments that will specifically handle each banking affair to your best interest by contacting them directly as they handle customer inquiries and transactions. 12. I couldn't agree more. Without being rude newbies need to read more and understand before posting. I didn't buy from DB until I knew how I would be treated before and after. I didn't believe this original post one bit because I was already informed. Slow down and read for understanding folks. Its really that simple.
  13. Justin.....I'm in Texas also.....Send me a PM
  14. I agree with bamagirl. The Dinar has nothing to do with MLM other than belief. I personally have been involved with a couple of mlm's. One that still pays me based on providing others with great utility rates. People thought that was a scam when it began too. 4 states and years later, i'm still getting a modest check. Bottom line is either you believe in this investment opportunity or you don't. That is the only comparison to MLM I can draw. Faith People. Have some and only invest what you can afford to lose. So true Wings..........Lol
