  6. Judging by the name of the title. I instantly thought you saw the fat lady. Man, what a let down. HaHa, but Shania will do.
  7. That'll be shown to every girlfriend he ever has. Too funny.
  8. Zingers, right on. Excellent choice.
  9. Agreed. Hoping to make that my next home. Still can fish for salmon and steelhead there. Only on the west side of the mountains. Of course that is the most populated. Lot of locals moved over there though. At least from my neck of the woods. They got out a long time ago.
  10. I was asking myself today. Where does the legalization of marijuana take us. I live here in Wa. As you know one of the two states that did make pot legal, or will soon. I have smoked since I was young off and on to this day. Not as much now as back then, but sometimes before a movie at home or just before bed. I don't think that makes me a bad person, but under the right circumstance it could make me vulnerable to (the devil). That's why I limit myself, but what about the people who don't. Where are they headed? I know a lot of people were tokin up in the streets when they got word pot passed in defiance and celebration of the Law. Defiance of the old law, celebration of the new. So what, are we gonna see this on the streets now? In front of kids, or our elders. I wanted this as a kid, but now I know this is bad. Very bad. I can't tell the future this is JMO.
  11. I love this time of year. The Kings and Silvers are done, and I have a couple of weeks to pick my spot to fish for chum when they start hittin the upper river. Truly beautiful, the leaves have changed, Eagles are everywhere ( waiting for their next unsuspecting meal), and the air is so fresh with it starting to get colder. The river is starting to clear also now that the glaciers aren't putting as much silt in the water. They run mud brown in the summer time, unless they're spring fed rivers. With the weather getting colder and wetter there are a lot less people fishing. Got a lot of fair weather folks here. This is definitely a good time of year. Can't wait for Christmas. That's my favorite day to go fishing. Never anybody on the river. Just me, the fish, and Gods beauty. I hope it snows this year for it really adds to it all.
  12. Never thought of that way. Good one. Happy Veterans Day everyone.
  13. I come in everyday, but don't look at the news anymore. Never did like soaps, and the only thing I want to see going in circles is a race car. Just waiting to see if I profit or lose. It's any ones guess really.
  14. I don't know for sure if it still does, but it used to grow wild in the ditches of farmland Iowa and Illinois. Remnants of the war, no doubt. I lived there in the late 70s, early 80s
  15. These people are neck deep in horse puckey. Totally preposterous.
  16. Just because it's legal at the state level Do Not carry a gun and weed at the same time. Feds are going to do some drastic things in these two states. I really don't think that they are going after the little guy, but if a gun is found with illegal drugs it ups your sentence quite a bit. Say you got in an accident, and the first person to come with aid was a off duty fed or on duty for that matter. Busted There's more ways than this to get busted buy the feds. I just wanted to throw out one, so that you can see that it is possible. I live here in Wa., and just cause it's legal doesn't mean you won't be drug tested for jobs. You will. Remember the insurance issue. They still want that money, but companies will pay for drug screens before they pay big insurance companies. JMO
  17. You guys are great. This site is awesome. Wish we weren't in the position we are.
  18. Blue states are mainly along both coasts, And yes even they are affected. Boeing and others here in Washington will be affected. Just because a state is blue doesn't mean all the people are bad. You and a lot of other people would feel welcome around my clan, cause we are good people. I lost a job I wanted, quit a job I hated, and waiting for a job at frickin Dominoes. I guess what I'm saying is let loose the whole red and blue bullcrud. It's not doing anybody any good. United we stand, divided we fall. It's time to UNITE.
