Cant get any answers from them either. I dont know who's in charge anymore or if they are still in receivership. Access is sporadic but at least a sign they are still in business and paying interest on the accounts. They must all go away for Ramadan???? Their mail boxes must be overflowing. Best chance to get thru is still to wait until 1 or 2AM our time to send our emails. Does anyone have an update on the bank's status?

I was able to connect to my warka accounts up to about a week ago when I asked them a few questions about renewal. All of a suden, their website is down again and not available. Does anyone have any info about what is going on again? Was receivership ever solved as far as who has control of the bank now? Thanks for any bit of info you may have.

I've diversified that way. It's also good if you intend to invest in the ISX. I suppose it's just as risky as anything else you might decide to do with Dinars.

Similar thing happened here. Police raided an establishment and confiscated 15million Dinars.

Nice! Has anyone figured out yet how to withdraw money from that account? I know you cant do more than $10000 at a time. Anyone tried to take money out?

I sent my first amount to the dollar account and emailed them to transfer to the IQD. The second time, I used my IQD account number instead and it went direclty to my IQD account. It took me two months of repeated emails to get my log on info. Others had faster turn arounds. Go figure! But I had best luck by copying Mr. Issa on all my emails that I followed up with.

Warka is closed until the 14th because of the EID Holiday. It took me near two months after repeated emails to open my account and another two months to get online with it. Some people have better success. The ones that seem to get results faster are the ones addressed to Mr. Issa. For some reason, he seems more consciencious about it.

They wont accept Dinars any longer for deposit- only dollars which are then converted to IQDs. You need to join the VIP group for excellent advice and to get Adam's book which describes all the directions you need to follow to open a Warka account as well as an ISX acct. if you wish. The exchange rate is the CBI rate and better than any dealer can offer in this country.

Hi Fingers-crossed, How long did it take you to hear from the Warka broker after they got your documents and the time they submitted to the ISX? It's been two weeks so far and I haven't heard another thing.

I believe you are supposed to send the originals to Warka's ISX dept. Keep a copy for yourself. The cost which is hard to figure out from the ISX report, for the Arab American Chamber of Commerce verification is only $103. Adam Montana's book gives much better directions. I have sent my originals to the ISX dept and have received acknowledgement that they received them. Getting approved by the ISX itself takes a while longer.
