  1. I'm not a poster but come here regularly to visit the News thread. I have always respected SWFG's input and certainly appreciate the time and effort he put into his posts. Thank You SWFG, for the education and insight you have shared with all of us. I will miss your contribution. Carello, since you have contact with his sister, please make sure his family see's how respected he was and how many lives he has touched here on D/V. I take comfort in knowing Dan is with God now and pray for his family and friends as they work through this time of grief. When I saw he was an AC/DC fan, this song came to mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZo12LIWqYw
  2. WOW, stepped away for a bit and decided to pop in an look around and can't believe this thread has only 2 replies. This is BIG news. It seems everybody is still clinging to the rumors thread. Hilary basically called everybody out. DON'T MESS WITH IRAQ or we'll be right back. (my interpretation) Forgive me for not spending an entire day reading all the news threads but this, to me, is good news. BTW, IMO pulling out of IRAQ is a REAL bad call on our part. (for the Iraqi's) American politics are COMPLETELY out of control!
  3. LOL!! You forgot dilaudid
  4. hmmmmm Another sliver of encouragement. nice
  5. Definately getting closer. "Kurdistan Region has been at the forefront of the parliamentary melee for the hydrocarbon law and along with the Iraqiya list have managed to push Al-Maliki's government to speed up the introduction of government version of the hydrocarbon law. The main aim of the KRG is to make sure that the contracts they entered into stay in place and if they are revised, KRG officials will have a say" Sure seems easy enough to fix......... This part I'm less enthusiastic about, "With the issue of the Kurdish oil contracts becoming the focus of the Iraqi lawmakers and Kurdistan region being shelled and bombed by both Iran and Turkey. The Iraqi government has acted with impunity and so far failed to defend its "citizens" in the north of the country. The Iraqi government's lack of response could only confirm that Baghdad has very little to do with Kurdistan Region and the impasse between Baghdad and Erbil is ever greater." Still encouraging to see more and more communication and continually improving relations with the Kurds over the years. GO RV
  6. I gave him one back too... LOL Dinarck was being supportive
  7. Great post TERT. As you can see, I'm not a poster either. I too got caught up in the EVERY day reading of this website and usually land in the rumor section. I must however, give credit to the "debunkers" in the rumors section because they have given me quite an education. I began spending WAY to much time reading the back and forth banter and speculative "rate and date" chatter. There is a clear list of objectives the Iraqis must complete before they can be financially active with the rest of the world. Simple as that. I log on now every once and a while to see how things are going in Iraq. This site is an awesome source for real news. I might even read a few rumors just for a smile and then go back to work and be be productive. I believe the Dinar will revalue. It has to in order for Iraq to continue her climb towards her potential in the future. I just had to figure out that my own potential was being put on the back burner as a result of spending countless hours reading speculative back and forth arguments........... Thanks for the post Tert, Good perspective for everybody to read. +1 for you. GO RV Bo

    15% maybe

I still believe he's legit. Mainly because he is one of the guys out there who actually has friends overseas and does his research beyond this forum. I haven't seen any pumping from him in the past. If anything, he is usually quick to ground folks. I'm not one for posting in these forums but feel like 11B has earned my respect enough to step out here. Like 11Bravo and so many other educated investors out there say....... Stay Grounded I'm confident there is a good reason we haven't heard from him.
  9. Me too, Many positive comments were made in relation to the progress in Iraq.
