  1. Gasprom Neft puts Iraqi projects on ice Published: 10 October, 2012, 15:35 Edited: 10 October, 2012, 15:35 Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of Russia's top natural gas producer Gazprom, has frozen two contracts for oil development in northern Iraq’s Kurdistan region, according to Iraqi Oil Minister Abdul Kareem Al-Luaibi. Gazprom told Iraqi authorities in a letter that they suspended work on the deals with Kurdistan, the minister told International Oil Daily. However, the company’s spokeswoman declined to comment. However, Russia’s oil major is still interested in Kurdistan crude, "Gazprom Neft is still working on these projects. The company keeps its interest in Kurdistan," a Gazprom Neft source told Reuters. In August the company signed two production sharing contracts with the Kurdistan Regional Government directly avoiding Iraqi Oil Ministry approval. Under the terms, Gazprom Neft would get a 40% share in the Garmian block and Canada’s WesternZagros will have another 40% share. The second project for Gazprom Neft is an 80% share in the Shakal block where the company will be the operator. The Kurdistan Regional Government will keep a 20% stake in both projects. Gazprom Neft was the third company after ExxonMobil and France's Total to ink deals with Kurdistan without the Iraqi Oil Ministry giving the go-ahead. Baghdad’s central government was angered by the plans of international companies to tap oil and gas in the semi-autonomous region, saying the agreements were illegal. The Russian oil major is already developing the 300 million barrel Badra deposit near the Iranian border. It holds a 30% stake in the project, along with South Korea's Kogas with 22.5%, Malaysia's Petronas with 15% and Iraq's state-owned Oil Exploration Company with 25% in the project. Production is due to start by 2013 and reach 170,000 barrels per day by 2017. LINK - http://rt.com/business/news/gazprom-kurdistan-oil-plans-092/ Can't they all just get along? Robert in Texas
  2. Sorry Carrello, didn't realize you were a lady
  3. And now to actually talk about the post. This sounds like very good news... this could really be the spark that gets the fire started. Thanks for the uplifting news Carrello!!! Robert R.
  4. Nahh, I will still cash in! I didn't realize I lived in a country where we could NOT state our opinions. Carrello stated an opinion, one that was sensational... B. Obama is a good man that would not take credit where it is not due, and take the blame when it is. If you make a statement you should be willing to discuss your opinion and how you arrived at it. What if I am not a Republican Ft7? Many of us realize that the options for candidates from both parties are not viable for the success of the People of the United States of America. I can't wait on either party to fix things, less I would die waiting... and I am a young man. I don't think it is fruitful to argue about B. Obama's negative character traits, or to argue that he is a hero or is prolific. Carrellos comment does not affect her value as a contributor, nor does it divide this community, it does reflect her political/rational view of this world. We don't have to all agree, thank god for free speech I think your great Carrello, at least you are involved in some way... just always keep an open mind with a critical line of thinking. The sad thing is that politics are requested to be abstained from, why can't a person state what they want and live with the consequences. People do not have to agree with one another, and they don't have to support or defeat their statements. This is not about politics, but the unabiding language of silence... cherish that we can state these opinions, cherish that we don't have to agree, as Thomas Jefferson said, "I would rather attend to the inconveniences of to much liberty than to little". Lets just all live with our beliefs and have thick enough skin to take the critiscism it might attract. I like all of you, and I don't mind that you all think differently than I do, I hope you all feel the same. Robert R.
  5. I agree totally that it is counter-productive to talk politics when refering to those politics that won't affect the value or tax affects of a successful RV. However, Carrello directly commented on another posters opinion... his question was in defense of Obama, and a direct assualt on the belief that Obama "would do such a thing". Facts are what they are, and Obama has made his bed; any informed person can make a qualified statement regarding the FACT of his deceptions. Not being informed, or not choosing to be informed does not relieve an individual of his need to suppot what he/or she says. Carrello can attempt to make a case that Obama is a true and tried leader with the heart of a saint... it won't get far with Republicans, and an even shorter distance to those who are informed; be they Dem's, Repub's, Libertarians, Independants, Political Atheists, and all others. I negged him and I am not attached to any party, I just know a rotten apple when I see one. I do like Carrello's posts, and there are no hard feelings, just disagree on the truth. Robert R.
  6. I remember when I was preparing to buy gold many years ago and I went to a career coin/bullion/ jewelry man and he discouraged me... said don't buy gold or silver, they are never going to move. I didn't listen to him thank god, I bought and I profited very well from the later sale. Come to think of it, his coin store now has a huge sign saying... WE BUY GOLD AND SILVER, DON'T SHIP IT THROUGH THE MAIL BECAUSE WE ARE PAYING THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST PRICES!!! I have to say his inabillity to see the fundamentals of the investment over his 'experience' have cost him dearly. Anyway, just my 2 for what it's worth.
  7. I agree. The point is that if they are buying the drones to protect their fields, then they may well be planning ahead for release of 7 and changes in government. No need to ramp production or protect to a greater degree if they are planing to continue status quo. It is a positive step for future growth either way. Iraq buying US Drones Link to story above.
  8. What do you guys think, I believe they are about to start moving quite a bit more oil through their fields... this means a stronger economy and more need to have a viable currency. Us trusting them enough to sell the drones is good news as well!
  9. My link This is a good sign that Iraq is ready to start getting more oil out of the ground, and they want to see that it gets to market. Good news.
  10. Rick Perry is a real piece of trash. I want freedom and a government that serves the people, not one that forces vaccinations on people against their will. I hope Ricks engine fails mid flight I am a Texan by the way, so don't go thinking that I just don't know better.
  11. If there is no RV, the people will create more violence... regular men on the street are the ones hurting, and they don't see the benefit from sales of oil in exchange for petro dollars. If Iraq want's peace and prosperity then the RV MUST occur. The only time two dogs won't fight over food is when there is more than enough for both, and their bowls are seperated... I am not calling Iraqi's dogs but the same goes where survival is concerned. The sooner prosperity finds a foot hold, the sooner we will see peace.
  12. Thank you, I read these posts and it's as if these guys are best friends with Ben Bernanke or Tim Geithner! I dont condone the spending and debt creation in this country, and I know what it will cause.... my patriotism is based on the spirit of the founders, the protection of the constitution, and the preservation of liberty. Those of you who think we will climb back out of this hole 'SOLELY BECAUSE WE ARE AMERICANS' had better grow up and get a grip. Freedom is not gauranteed but preserved, debt is not forgiven but defaulted on. We have carried the torch of 'World Reserve Currencey' since 1971 and we took that role from Great Britain as Richard Nixon shocked the world and pulled the U.S. off the gold standard. Yes friends, it was a U.S. president that took our gold and out right to redeem our certificates for gold and silver. Today you carry fiat notes redeemable in faith that are printed by a private bank that refuses to answer to the Congress of the United States of America. The longer you stand in support of your 'team' without realizing that you are not on that 'team', the less likely we the people will ever regain our proper place in this nation along with the Congress. Ignorance and appathy are our enemy, and division the goal of our rulers. Just ask if you can get an appointment with the Governor of your State, then ponder wether or not the President of Bank of America could, or Steve Jobs, or the head of a union. You are not part of that 'team', time to join the real team of individual citizens who are calling for accountability, for constitutional government, this team calls themselves Americans! He is more likely rolling in hell.
  13. Nice 'pump'n' video!!! love it.
  14. One definition of insanity is said to be attempting the same action over and over with the expectation of a different result. Although I have never found said definition, one must wonder what condition a person suffers from to expect a different result from the same action time and time again. Desperate comes to mind, a desperate man will try anything... and maybe anything over and over again. One thing is sure, there are desperate situations all around our great nation and many more folks will face them in the coming years. I say all this because I have noticed the same words spoken over and over here in the rumor section of this forum: IT'S DONE! NUFF' SAID! CASHING IN! etc. etc. etc. I want this to happen as much as anyone ever has, and I believe there will be a good profit before it's over, however when it will be over is the X factor that eludes us ALL Rumors are generally troublesome in everyday life, no one likes to have a RUMOR started about them, rumors are what tabloids print, rumors are about sensation and stirring up the intended reader. This could be a good thing in our case if the rumor is true, however out of 1000 posters who claim to be in the know... maybe 1 or 2 COULD be, and likely none WOULD be. This is my daily dose of dinar tabloid and I have little faith in any rumor, but it is fun to read and get to know the personalities behind the avatars here. Obviously the posters of the rumors have an agenda, whether that be selling more dinar, feeling important, or just being a **** stirrer. Whichever one their reason is, they are all wrong all of the time and that is undisputable. I am not refering to rumors such as "hey, the president is in Iraq and this could be good news", but rather the "This will be done within 3 week's, RV is done just waiting for it to hit" type rumors. If one has been right then we are all rich allready...... wait for it, wait for it, wait for it..... nope, not rich yet I am not complaining about having a rumor section as I love coming here, I just hate to see desperate people stretched to their limits and pushed out of this investment by absurd rumors that cause desperate folks to get in over their heads, and lose any shred of legitimacy that they saw in the investment to start with. I think the community here is great, but some of the azz kissing that goes on to 'keep the people in the know' posting their 'intel' is ludicrous! I dont believe these guys have intel, and if they do it is witout fail the worst bunch of lackeys ever assembled. This will happen the same way a bowel movement does... and you will know once it happens the same way... you won't be able to miss it! Knowing about an RV 5 days before it occurs changes nothing, and the greenbacks won't be any greener for having known in advance either. I hope no one has bought more dinar than they could afford, but we all know that someone surely has, and they watch the insanity occur in these rumors day after day and lose more and more faith. Guru's are for the birds! As always, GO RV. This is just my 2 cents folks, and I felt like ranting a bit.
  15. What fairy tale have you been reading? There is nothing rediculous about the statement in question. I do however wish to point out the intent on your part to stifle another persons viewpoint, which shows your intolerance to the anti-establishment or intelligent point of view. The founding fathers of this country were speaking the same language (the King will see this nation belly-up) just before the undertaking of removing the snakes head! Docile and naive are those that believe freedom, liberty, or prosperity are born into a man, and that all men are lovers thereof! A free man knows and recognizes the inalienable rights endowed by the creator, resists tyranny and despotism, and see's a tyrant for what he is and realizes the effect of his tyranny. Any man who stands against the founding principals seeks ruin, financial and otherwise for the country, territory, or village he represents. Tyranny is destruction and loss economically and institutionally for the many, great gain economically and institutionally for the tyrant, the end result is a nation "belly-up". You should get a grip on reality and replace your tired false patriotism for the real thing. Was the King civilized DinDar, did we gain freedom by denying truth and free speech, is it our place then to blindly trust government and silence or repress suspicion thereof? Seriously, I can't believe adults think this way.
