BASICALLY it means anyone selling their dollars to the bank for dinars would not get “fleeced”…why would they want to sell their dollars? because once Iraq gets put in to article 8 by the IMF, Iraq can only have 1 currency, (Dinar), article 8 means their currency is international!!! This new policy starts DEC 1st and JMO, after DEC 1st…Iraq feel free to raise the value if you like!!! Thoughts?

Don't be disappointed... I think this is very positive... It devalued their currency 10% virtually overnight and that is against a week dollar.... They need to get their ducks in a row.. HCL and Chapter 7 and then Shabs can push the button. I may be the eternal optimist but I'm hoping this is the fire under the "Donkey" to get things rolling.

That being said I do have a slightly different take. I actually believe that (JMO): Getting out of Chapter 7 is 99% done. The HCL is ready to go and approved in the background - just need to publish it. The GOI is a game that Maliki holds the cards to and can get it done anytime. So... do I believe that there is a bunch to be done? YES, but I also believe this is more strategic (not by accident) and it can all be handled within days of each other. We could make the connection to an RV to explain why most things (That "we believe") that need to be accomplished are just in a holding pattern. WARNING: The next comment is only speculation as I don't want to be one to connect everything to an RV but there is reasoning behind my speculation. Assume many savvy investors (Like You) knew that 3 or 4 things must be checked off in order to RV and then they would make huge profits.... If this is the case and we "Truly" knew this to be a fact then how dumb would the powers in charge be to give us warning signals... Really? OK... ONE...TWO.... (Everybody go out and buy as much Dinar as you can)... and Three WE HAVE AN RRRRRVVVVVVVVV. Just some PERSPECTIVE! Did the economy of the USA stop when Oklahoma City got bombed or the Anthrax scare, Mass murders on our Military Base, School Shootings, Jim Jones or the space ship cult? NOOO!!!... and we aren't considered a third world country either. The only real financial and societal impact on us was understandably from 911 (God Bless the USA). I figured it out... OKIE is cryptic. The "bank screens" are a "Bank of Screens" that shades him from a lightning bolt!!! $14.38 per my google search is scripture... MARK 14:38 which reads... The replies following a date and rate post are usually members mocking the person or having fun at their expense... This is an open forum so you will get bashed. DinarBUddy, As positive as i am on this investment I to can't stop from thinking that Iraq will try to recover as much IQD as they can. Now here is where I get negged but think about it... I think there would be a Plan A and Plan B regarding the UST. OBAMA: It would benefit him in the long run to have the UST absorb as much IQD as possible because the socialist (I wouldn't dare refer to him as a socialist - well we still have freedom of speech - for now - kind of) So, anyways... the socialist playbook is to bring the economy down to it's knees so the citizens become more accepting of stringent regulations, taxes and big brother. The additional taxes recovered from citizens that cashed in would mean nothing in his big picture... No this is not a conspiracy theory... do some research. I don't have a political agenda here. A true American: Would want the citizens to prosper understanding that a country that thrives raises more taxes by virtue of volume than not. FREE people spend more..... BUT the government has less control. I hope we have a "True American" running come election time. You decide what makes more sense. Lewis

Have you ever noticed Saleh and Shabibi contradict each other... sometimes in the same week... I'm not saying it's smoke but where there is FIRE there might be smoke. We all need to be patient. Most of us got into this because we believed it was a low risk, high reward investment. IMO Iraq is either trying to make themselves look great for the summit with all their late accomplishments or they are preparing for an RV. Either way it bodes well for our investment. Let's stay positive and not hang on every article. It will happen when (I know some people would rather me substitute the word "if" here) it's meant to happen.

Clearly you have a chip on your shoulder to assume from my short question that I don't do research and/or I support 8ball.... I just notice you often call people out on their so-called intel (yes, so-called) therefore I wanted to know who you frankly thought was credible. Actually my statement was fairly benign as I was hoping to find more good sources. If you take a peek at some of my posts you will see I don't believe the pumpers or the dumpers. I prefer the news scrapers and logical conclusion types.
