  1. Be careful BrandyClark, I have researched this some time ago and read on a forum of someone who didn't win their case and it cost them time and money. There seemed to be a lot of folk debunking this information. I wish I could point you in the right direction as to where I read this. Remain positive, but continue your fact finding, and please keep us informed.
  2. Doesn't matter what side of the fence you are on in this debate it is all littered with rumor and disinformation, on all sides. I choose to learn from ancient civilizations - they don't exist, nether will we...self imposed or from some outside entity, call it what you want, and we will never know the truth until we are on the other side, if there is one.
  3. Not that odd given this country is still at times operating in the dark ages of technology.
  4. Interesting...I didn't realize the federal reserve had a hacker incidence. Do you think the hackers reduced the federal debt?
  5. Sorry you wasted your time. This document will not translate to text period, because these are docs that were handwritten and scanned. Only documents typed using word or some other text publishing software can be selected and copied out of a PDF. This doc is more or less a photo. (scan) +11 for trying - so folks help me....
  6. You may want to give up - I have a pro version of acrobat and this document will not translate to text period, because these are docs that were handwritten and scanned.
  7. He has a somewhat valid point, Iraq needs to be productive in other sectors of economic growth. Here is an example of what comes first the chicken or the egg?
  8. I'll take it! What's with the historic proportions. Just like any other blizzard I've experienced. Media ploy. Well I could be wrong I'll let you know in the morning.
  9. Was just on the phone with friend from Long Island, trees down, he had to hang up and investigate. You are getting creamed there, but it is heading straight for me. We are not experiencing the heavy wet snow you are getting, we are too inland, thank goodness. Enjoy your new hobby. I do actually, I need someone to open the bottle of wine, I had tenon surgery on my right hand and I have a plastic Barbie hand, only good for posing with the full bottle or empty glass. Call me Romantic Barbie.
  10. UPPDATE: Still have power....Roads were closed in MA, by 4:00, ordered by the governor, $500 fine or jail if you are caught. Talk about a police state....I figure if you are stupid enough to go out, well hey your problem. But I can see they don't need to be rescuing stupid people. On the other hand my daughter works for a ski resort and she told me they are essential and can drive - but my first thought was, sure but are the skiers? (no answer) It is freezing and the wind is howling. Can't tell how much snow, because it is blowing in all directions. No we don't have a generator, but a fireplace, wood, water and propane stove. If I can flush and eat, I'm good, there are plenty of down comforters and furry friends. Dogs did not blow away at bathroom break, but they came in limping for a minute or so. I have chocolate and wine.
  11. I will keep you posted. Oh please, no melting, on Monday, fortunately I live on a hill, the water runs down, but the wind hits our home hard. I love this weather. I survived the blizzard of 78, and that was crazy, and the ice storm back a few years ago that kept us in the dark for 5 days. I live outside the city, commute to the city is off for tomorrow. Yeah! Thank you. Pray I don't get house crazy!
  12. Updated 9:06 PM ET BOSTON A blizzard of potentially historic proportions threatened to strike the Northeast with a vengeance Friday, with up to 2 feet of snow feared along the densely populated Interstate 95 corridor from the New York City area to Boston and beyond. From Pennsylvania to Maine, people rushed to stock up on food, shovels and other supplies, and road crews readied salt and sand, halfway through what had been a merciful winter. Before the first snowflake had even fallen, Boston, Providence, R.I., Hartford, Conn., and other New England cities canceled school Friday, and airlines scratched more than 1,700 flights, with the disruptions certain to ripple across the U.S. Forecasters said this could one for the record books. "This one doesn't come along every day. This is going to be a dangerous winter storm," said Alan Dunham, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Taunton, Mass. "Wherever you need to get to, get there by Friday afternoon and don't plan on leaving." As for what to expect Thursday night, CBS News weather consultant David Bernard said all the ingredients are coming together for that powerhouse area of low pressure. He also said two systems are going to come together right on the outer banks of North Carolina. Snow will be breaking out across most of New England Friday -- maybe even the coastal areas. By Friday evening, there could be heavy snow over the entire region -- maybe right along the coast, and during the day Saturday a full-blown blizzard for southeastern New England. Late in the day Saturday may provide a little bit of an improvement. Heaviest amounts of snow could at night and into Saturday. Wind gusts could reach 65 mph. Widespread power failures were feared, along with flooding in coastal areas still recovering from Superstorm Sandy in October. Here we go again - 24 inches without wind is just another NE snow storm, but with 65 MPH wind - Uh oh, just hoping we don't loose power. Stay safe.:shrug:src="http://dinarvets.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/shrug.gif"> LINK
  13. Positive PR - how nice. It seems they have come to their senses and there is finally some cooperation.
  14. Thank-you for sharing. This was thirty pages long and I started reading last night. Good luck to all and have a great week! Nice to see the community out in full force!
  15. Thanks for posting, turned out to be interesting reading comprehension project.
  16. Anonymous re-hacks US Sentencing site into video game Asteroids Summary: The U.S. Sentencing Commission website has been hacked a second time. A code distributed by Anonymous "Operation Last Resort" turns ussc.gov into a game of Asteroids. By Violet Blue for Zero Day | January 28, 2013 -- 00:06 GMT (16:06 PST) The U.S. Sentencing Commission website has been hacked again and a code distributed by Anonymous "Operation Last Resort" turns ussc.gov into a playable video game. Visitors enter the code, and then the website that sets guidelines for sentencing in United States Federal courts becomes "Asteroids." Shooting away at the ussc.gov webpage reveals an image of Anonymous. The trademark Anonymous "Guy Fawkes" face is comprised of white text saying, "We do not forgive. We do not forget." Gallery: U.S. Sentencing website hacked into video game "Asteroids" Hacktivist group Anonymous began its "Operation Last Resort" Friday night by hacking the U.S. Sentencing Commission website in the name of suicide victim Aaron Swatrz, demanding reform in the U.S. justice system. The government website was pulled offline and restored by Saturday. Now, on Sunday afternoon, the U.S. Sentencing Commission website appears to have been compromised a second time, severely, wherein a code being issued by Operation Last Resort and other Anonymous social media accounts turns ussc.gov into a game of Asteroids. Upon visiting ussc.gov and entering enter Konami code (with cursor keys) ↑↑↓↓←→←→ (up up, down down, left right left right) then keys B, A and "Enter" - the page becomes a playable version of the old Atari game, Asteroids. Visitors can use their keyboard to shoot away at the U.S. Sentencing Commission website. The hack reads: AntiSec CAEK-mode activated. Destroy the system! Controls: up, down, left, right to fire. Blasting away at the text on the website using the keys CAEK ("repeat for NyanCat powers"), player points tally in a score box in the bottom right of the screen, while the government website page and text begin to shrink. As the "player" gets points by shooting the U.S. Sentencing Commission website, underneath a dark image of Anonymous is revealed. This is the second time the website has been attacked and defaced in a hack that involves public participation. See also: Anonymous hacks US Sentencing Commission, distributes files Anonymous apparently still somehow has control of the website in some way, despite the last efforts by the U.S. government to clean up the attacks. The link to the Javascript is embedded in the ussc.gov page, but the script is hosted on a public Google URL. The website has actually been publicly attacked three times this weekend. But the second hack was a massive takeover that stuck. Anonymous had used the site to distribute encrypted government files and left a statement on the website that de-encryption keys would be publicly released (thus releasing the as-yet unkonwn information held on the stolen files) if the U.S. government did not comply with Anonymous' ultimatum demands for legal reform. Anonymous has not specified exactly what files they have obtained. The various files were named after Supreme Court Justices. However, while the first hack was restored when the U.S. government swiftly acted to wipe the site from its DNS and pull the IP address, and then restore the website, the same resolution may not be possible as it seems Anonymous - and/or AntiSec - still have access. The U.S. Sentencing Commission sets guidelines for sentencing in United States Federal courts, and Anonymous stated it had chosen the website for symbolic reasons. Previously on the defaced ussc.gov website Anonymous cited the recent suicide of hacktivist Aaron Swartz as a "line that has been crossed." The statement suggested retaliation for Swartz's tragic suicide, which many - including the family - believe was a result of overzealous prosecution by the Department of Justice and what the family deemed a "bullying" use of outdated computer crime laws. 17. Hi sweetie, glad you are feeling better. Yes, glad you are careful, this game is for those who know how to play. If you are near a University library, where you can log on anonymously, otherwise don't download to your computer. These federal agents are watching these sites. I wanted to work in Internet security in Helsinki, Finland to catch hackers who release viruses, but I am not that good, but I love a good mystery, hopefully someone is writing a book about this. You know it takes a thief to catch a thief, same goes with the hackers. Thanks Jon Jon, yes the revisions are needed. Agreed!!!!!! I think they play too many video games to know what a true patriot is. Yeah for you! Doesn't being right feel good! two thumbs up!!!
  18. This means there are multiple documents implementing that the justice system, FBI, and other three letter agencies are running a not so just system. When or if they detonate the password so the general public and main stream media can read these documents, the injustice will be revealed and heads will roll. But we all know how this works....slap on the hand like the mortgage fiasco, bail outs, more secrets and more white collar crime. More cover ups. period Exactly what they meant.
  19. Seriously, warheads is used figuratively, not literally. These are computer hackers and probably gamers, what they will detonate is code, if you follow the links on the youtube video, you will be able to, if you know how, to download using bit torrents software, several pdf documents with government secrets. Now the threat is, if the justice system does not heed their warning, they will send everyone who downloads the documents a password to open the documents and reveal government injustice. Then in turn they are hoping that once the media gets a hold of these documents, heads will roll. This is what was stated. I won't download these documents and nether should you, because this can be traced, I don't trust that one will be deemed guilty as a traitor if this gets out of hand.
