Politics are politics no matter where in the world. Here they got together and said what sounds really good (like our politicians do) but don't actually really agree on anything. So he is either a ghost or such a big rock star in Iraq that every time he speaks or shows up it is a great appearance. Hey Mohommed Saleh - you and Shab RV it and you will be rock stars to me!

This article is just strange. How can an ambassador go the country he is assigned to deal with, be in that country, and act like he is not doing anything political. It says he met with Iraqi leaders but everyithing was completely administrative. Bizarre! Yeah its been seven months since I have been here, yeah I met with Iraqi leaders, but it was only to get some signatures and tidy up some paperwork. LOL!

Maliki can't stop it so he might as well work with Arbil and keep oil investment money coming into Iraq. Keep oil investment money coming-develop oil fields- sell oil- stockpile riches from around the world. Hopefully build a country comes in there and what was the other thing we want to happen, uh. . . thats it GO RV!

I hate smoking but . . . isn't it funny they are starting to rebuild their country and banning smoking in public places is "important" enough to be passed now? When most of the country does not have continual electric power and all of the other issues like housing, water, employment,etc. ??????? Vice versa maybe I am looking at this the wrong way. Maybe they are WAY WAY ahead of our gorvernment. We did not pass any laws on banning smoking in public place till recently. They beat our government by hundreds of years. LOL!
