I do not think the dinar we hold would be easy to counterfeit either. I feel that if the vendors took the time to check every bill (which would be hell at the current exchange rate) they could spot a counterfeit bill in a heartbeat. The real issue is if you need a grocery bag of money to make a purchase no-one is going to check every bill. If the exchange rate is raised and you are only handling a few bills I feel they will take the few seconds to check for authenticity.

Easy solution.... Make the Iraqi Dinar a comparable strong currency comparable to the USD instead of something comparable to toilet paper... That might encourage merchants to use the Dinar... Just saying.

This is very sad. The draining of marshlands has contributed to the desertification of the world, the extinction of thousands of species, and also destroys a natural air conditioner/humidifier. The future tourism industry alone would pay for the repairs.

I had the same feeling when entering this forum... I just clicked in to see what kind of crap Okie was spewing this time... It till be interesting to see who Okie blames for this doozie... Stay grounded everyone I feel we will hear about the RV from a much more credible source when it happens.

Seeing more and more of these articles about laundering, and speculators ruining their economy. Honestly why would they even care if they were just going to do a 1000 old dinar to a 1 new dinar RD/LOP... They would lose nothing in that scenareo...
