  1. Awesome--I am a 65 year old veteran of the Viet Nam era and proud to be an American and saved by the grace of God--I do not think I have ever heard this second verse. It is amazing, and was sung by someone who understands the meaning and words and has served his country proudly and loves God. Just My Humble Opinion. God bless America. I'm sorry, I still have chill bumps
  2. Thanks for the post and welcome to DV. I am a 65 yr old with a heart condition and I feel fine, did not get too incited--I think it is fine where it is posted, but I am not a SENIOR MEMBER and do not post much. Just read a lot. Thanks anyway and again, welcome.
  3. why would you grow your own food--nothing better than a home grown tomato, purple hull peas, butterbeans, etc--remember, a country boy will survive. and for me it would be a GMC/Kubota(to replace the ones I already have). Ford, another one--freakin old rebuilt dodge. RV everyone--continue to dream. Be blessed and accept it.
  4. It's gotta start somewhere-sometime---now is as good as any Let's see--probably almost dark over there now so they can starte eating, etc--better mood maybe GET ER DONE
  5. well, you turned down $20.00, how about $30.00, I could wall paper my utility room with those worthless pieces of currency. All in fun dinarminer, have a great day.
  6. Dear Mommy Thank you for your post. This "thread" I think they are called, has been one of the best and most grounded I have read in the few months I have been in this. Althought I tend to agree with Hoosier on the tithing, your way also works to the glory of God. I don't have as much invested as most probably do in this, and sometimes I want to do more, but try to control myself and stay within my means. I am nota poor person, nor am I rich--just blessed by the Best and too Blessed to be stressed. Yes, if this comes in anywhere from $1 up I can retire at 65---but will need to keep doing something to stay alive. The more I think about this ting, the more I agree that we might have ben chosen for this. Recalling the way I heard about this and what convinced me to get into it. Was unusual. JUHO. So, thank you again and God help me to do the right thing when this thing truly pops. Go RV or whatever you want to call it. And Thank God. Be Blessed Everyone SORRY. JUHO was supposed to be JMHO
  7. Well, my birthday is Friday, and I couldn't think of a better gift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Go RV 65 and continuing Oh, weather report--here in SW Louisiana it is too hot to go fishing and we need rain so the gulf don't dry up. Some times tropical storms come in handy if they aren't toooooo bad.
  8. Well, if the Iraqis are mostly using the USD now and the dinar will be based on the USD, it makes sense to wait and see where the USD is going after the vote on the ceiling, etc and new rating the US will get. Hope I stated that right.
  9. Well, if it is what is brought in on a monthly basis, why would it be singled out to specifically be enough to bail out social security, if I heard it right--there are other expenses to be paid--I agree it is a stretch, but don't know what additional funds he would be talking about. Like I said, II think it is a long stretch to assume the taxes on RV income is what he is thinking of, but is possible. Gooooooo RV.......
  10. I'm in -- but please remind me I will be in Panama City, FL on a short vacation. GooooooooooooRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrVeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  11. Sosrry, but what is "PD". Thanks
  12. DarleneR Sounds like you are fairly grounded. Good post. Thanks
  13. Folks, I don't care if it lops, flops, droops, drops, hops, raise zeros or drops zeros-- as long as my investment doesn't lose money it is ok with me--then when the value of my money as invested in dinars rises because of the change in rate to the US dollar, I will be one very happy fat boy.
  14. "Carrello, on 28 June 2011 - 09:25 AM, said: If I were a stockholder, this is a process I would be questioning, just as a profit issue. You are going to have employees travel, drive, fly, crawl, hotels, food, etc., so you can learn how to cash out dinar? I have done too much training to believe this. You send one person to multiple locations. Why would you send people on a trip to learn how to count and fill out a couple of forms? But then again, when you are a bank with as much money as they have (thanks US taxpayers) you can waste as much as you want. This is not a comment on the poster, but on the banks." RE Above: It is possible that employees from multiple branches are meeting at one central branch/location for training and extensive travel, etc., isn't required. Was in banking myself and we did this all the time. Lost employee(s) for one day and maybe mileage, but that was it. Just thinking. Read more:
  15. I just love it too. Honor all our vets.
  16. Thank you Jesus, Glory to God, Thanks Heavy for a great post, I think we all knew what you meant.
  17. I bought dinars through my local bank in southwest Louisiana, who was getting them through Whitney in New Orleans. Whitney in New Orleans quit selling over two weeks ago so my local bank quit selling them. They did not know why Whitney quit selling. I asked if they would buy back/exchange when dinar revalued, etc, and my local asst manager told me probably. I am also friends with manager of a local Chase branch, who also quit selling, and she said they would also buy back/exchange later if I were a customer. Whatever that is worth.
  18. OK why would they take out the large currency? well because once the RV happens your not going to be able to go into a store and buy a loaf of bread that cost say one dinar. (well say the value is 1-1 to the American dollar) Lets say your walking in with a $25,000 dinar note, I mean common since tells you that your local store is not going to carry that change. lol I mean thank about it seriously, I give you a 25000 note that is worth $25000 and I am suppose to believe your going to have change laying around with that type of value on it? NO its not going to happen! Listen everyone on here believe what you want to believe, I for one will believe what I feel is correct as well. Thanks for that explanation. I have read all the statements concerning LOP, etc, and this is exactly the way I thought about it. Would be just like me walking in to a grocery store here with a US $25,000.00 bill and trying to buy a soft drink. Even if they had the change, it would be a lot to carry out.
  19. One year when my wife was plowing in a field with high grass--preparing ground to plant soybeans--in s/w Louisiana--she came to a quick stop--a fawn was laying in the grass and she had almost run over it. She waited a little while and nothing happened--so she got down off the tractor and walked around the front of it and was going to move the fawn over in ground where she had already plowed. Upon reaching down to pick it up the fawn bleated. Suddenly my wife caught something out of the corner of her eye towards the woods--the doe(mother) was jumping the fence and in no time was standing just a few feet from my wife with her head down and stomping her front feet on the ground. So my wife slowly backed away and got back on the tractor. The doe walked up to the fawn, it got up and they walked away. Great story. BUT A healthy doe will usually has twins. I have always picked at my wife about where the other twin was--sometimes my sense of humor gets away with me. Probably wasn't a twin or it was in the woods with the doe. Anyway, a great experience for my wife, and she always watched in front of the tractor a little better after that. Go figure. Have a great day everyone and "GO RV".
  20. Well, here goes. A few weeks ago, a friend of mine was installing some new electronics in the place where I work. He told me he was probably going to retire soon and explained why and how. He had invested in the dinar. I didn't think much about it and forgot about it, Both my parents passed away in Jan, mother on Jan 1st(about 2 am), daddy on Jan 31st(11:56 pm). Anyway, shortly thereafter, my sister asked if she could write a check out of our parents checking acct, she needed to buy a cashier's check that day and her bank was already closed. No problem and she says she would replace the next day. No big deal--I trust her and love her. We haven't had any disputes over our inheritance and don't foresee any, and it is quite substantial. She explained what she was doing and who advised her to do it. I actually bought mine before she could get hers and here we are. We even bought more from our soon to be inheritance using a small amount to maybe make it greater. Since, I have found out about many people I know who have been investing for years, and most of these people are "tight and smart" with their money. So, there it is. And now I also sorta feel "chosen" in some way and believe we are going to be rewarded. My wife(who really doesn"t believe in this) and I, hopefully, will be able to retire soon, help our children out and grandchildren and our churches and others in need. Just wish I had more to invest. I do believe my God is in this. I praise Him, worship Him and thank Him.
  21. OK, I'm a newbie--who is supposed to shut what down??
  22. Actually, 2X to 5X return is better than I have ever recieved on a short term investment.
  23. Folks, this has been one of the most factual and levelheaded discussions I have read on here. Being new, I have seen a lot in a short time, Some of these posts I can't make any sense out of and I thought I was slightly educated. Thanks for some common sense for a change. Now, if I could just figure out the rest of this site.
