  1. Well, many of us folks here in Kansas are not privy to the inner workings of the government and banking elite. Simply stated, we realize we have no way of knowing the "truth". Our motto? Plan for the worst, but pray for the best. Just sounds like a great way to hedge our bets! Hang in there folks, we still live in the greatest land on the planet!
  2. I'm with you, easy. Still got hope, just no Change! We refer to this as a ride, but I keep seeing the same scenery! Must be a Merry Go Round. Well, sooner or later, somethings gotta give! Thinking I will keep my day job for now. Still contented in Kansas....
  3. Valid website, funny story. I checked the website for other IQD stories, and they certainly seem to routinely make fun of the dinar investment. I suppose its their idea of a great april fools day story. Who is right? Time will tell! I still think I will keep my day job! Always wise to have a backup plan.
  4. Truth is, the people that actually know the truth of what is happening could fit in the corner booth at waffle hut. All the rest have either financial aspects that are enhanced by artificial pumping, or have an earnest desire to matter, even to the point that they actually make this stuff up. I don't know for sure who is who, but I do know the vast majority of voices in the dinar world are not sitting in the corner booth with those that know! Its all entertaining, and it may eventually pay off, but in the meantime, best to live our lives and keep the dreams alive. Also, I agree with David. Adam provides a valuable service to the DV community.
  5. If we ever see an RV approaching anywhere near this number, the dollar would have to be toilet paper! I am all for a reasonable RV, but not to the point that the dollar is worth almost nothing! As each day passes, I have a greater and greater understanding how this group of less than 500 people elected to manage the affairs of our country have betrayed us and sold, or rather spent us down the river. I just hope its not too late to not only throw these folks out of office, but hopefully throw those most responsible in jail! Sorry for the rant, but man, these folks make it so hard to be "contented in Kansas"....
  6. Not sure why the negative, but I evened you out. Thanks for keeping us up on the guru hype. Still find it entertaining. This rides a hoot!
  7. Lots of calculating going on out here, but I have been "predicting" for the last couple of years $1.17. I base that on the need to convert Iraq over to dinars and get dollars out. Nothing scientific and I assure you, no three letter agencies or covert intel. Truthfully, its probably based more on wishful thinking than anything, but I suppose that doesn't make my prediction sound very dramatic. Would it help if I told you that I was playing tennis in an underground tennis court and two middle east looking gentlemen were playing on the court beside me, and I overheard one of them say to the other............ well, I'm having trouble falling for my own story, so I will stop right there! Still, you can call me contented in Kansas!
  8. Well, according to these guys, it was supposed to pop yesterday. Nuff said! Still contented in Kansas!
  9. First thread I have read in a long time that I "had" to read every post! So interesting, so unsettleing, but for whoever said keep an open mind, kudos. Best we open our minds and don't kling to "normal". Huge danger in that! This is without doubt not a normal time we live in. My thoughts, stay vigilant! Keep eyes open, and as our former president said, "trust, but VERIFY". Lot of lying going on out there! My mind has been made up for some time now. It is truely time to stand up for our way of life, our constitution, our freedom. I am deeply involved in local government, and here in Kansas, we believe in freedom. I want these globalist hope and changers to just leave me alone! We are contented and doing just fine.
  10. Honestly, between the progress of the budget and HCL today, it has been a little emotional. I can certainly understand Okie getting a bit welled up, but I was a little disappointed there were no tears his keyboard. Of all the emotional quotes from his post, the tears on his keyboard probably moved me more than any others. I found that particular one so very entertaining that my tears nearly spilled over on my keyboard! Oh well, maybe next time..... Still contented in Kansas. Man, we gotta be getting close!
  11. Thanks, Thug. Always enjoy your work on the forum. Keep it coming!
  12. Well, at least we have more proof that some have not lost the art of "creativity" ! One of the better bank stories I've read. Not the best, but I give it an 8 out of 10 for creativity. Still contented, but waiting in southeast Kansas. Thanks, Trooper for bringing it over.
  13. Best chat I've read in a long time. Just got back into Kansas from a drive down the west coast on PCH1, and I'm pretty sure that ride is even wilder than the IQD! By the way, I do not recommend a 43 ft motor coach on Hwy 1!
  14. Coming into this, or any other investment, with the idea that it is a "sure thing", is in my opinion, a sure fire way to dissappointment. I view all investments as opportunities, period. Family expense money is exactly that. Investment money should be investment money. If you confuse the two, and spend expense money on "investments" like the iqd, then you have set yourself up for that stressful waiting game. I would rather have 25,000 iqd stress free, than 5 million that must "RV" by friday! You can still call me "contented in Kansas". Merry Christmas all!
  15. As much as I want $3.00+ to be true, I would be sooo happy at 1.00 +! Ok, .50+, heck, I would be happy to see just to see this RV! It would be so sweet to be on the right side of this investment, but my own gut feeling from the beginning has been $1.17. No valid reason for that number, its just my number. Some days I think this may never get done, and some days, I want to buy more. Made the decision. Staying put with what I have, and holding on to my rate. End of story. I guess you can call me "contented in Kansas".
  16. I guess that it depends on your definition of "soon".............. Well, at least it is a beautiful, bright and crisp morning here in Kansas. Better get ready for Christmas!
  17. If things keep moving at this pace, we should surely hit that "sweet spot" we've all been waiting for! Always enjoy a scooter drive by!
  18. Beck is one of the few talk personalities who, in my opinion, has been willing to lay out seemingly impossible, outrageous, and outlandish predictions in the economic and political realm. As uncomforatable as most of his predictions make me, his record for being right on target is astounding. I am getting close to that 60 year old mark, and am seeing things I never dreamed possible. If Beck is seeing possibilities in currency investing, I would take that to the bank. Oh, I guess most of us here already have! Its all good, folks! Just a matter of time.
  19. I haven't posted in awhile, but here she goes! Love a good bank story, no matter how unbelievable! I remember last June we were so "close" to an RV I almost hated to go on vacation. Good sense prevailed, I traveled for two weeks in Europe, came back, and it was as if I never left. No doubt we are closer now than we was in June, but down here in southeast Kansas, I think I'll keep on working, paying my bills, and living my life. When it happens, it may very well be the "bonus of a lifetime". But until then, you can just call me "contented in Kansas".
  20. Man, I took off for the weekend, didn't look at the any of the sites in hopes it would RV if I wasn't looking. Looking like I didn't miss a thing! Just different names saying the same thing. Lets get this done one way or the other! Still contented (maybe a little irratated), in Kansas!
  21. I agree that Dave Ramsey may not be well informed about the dinar, but you have to admit, he is correct about the internet hype surrounding this investment. That being said, he seems to stand for conservative, well thought out financial planning for a solid financial future. I seriously doubt he is motivated by a fear of people making money in any investment, thus reducing his own book and financial peace university meetings. I am in favor of anyone that can in any way help people thru these confusing financial times. Without a doubt, there are many folks in serious trouble out here, and what little I have heard him speak, I think he is sincerely trying to help. Frankly, there are days many of us out here wonder if it will ever happen, but I still hold on to the faith it is coming! You can still call me contented in Kansas! Lets prove all the naysayers wrong, and see this thing all the way thru!

    GOLD DINAR

Athiest does make a valid point: Vagueness in reference to the end times has be artfully used for many years. I was married 37 years ago, and was pretty much convinced we would never make it to our honeymoon before the end times hit! You might ask, do I believe in the end time? Answer, you bet. When will these things comence in earnest? I have no idea. But this I do know, my life seems to be passing so quickly, that if I live to see the end of time, it better hurry up and get started ending! Alex 38 stated dinar is money. Right on, and all money in any form or denomination is still just money. Its not religion, its not a savior, its money, pure and simple. Neither good, nor bad. Its how we use it that makes it good, or bad. And IHustle says that Jesus loves you, and that pretty much sums it up. Kudos to Vern and the others. Life is short, choose wisely. Still contented in Kansas, Sawmill.
  23. Fail... I am confident its coming, but pretty sure it will not be ushered in by the gurus!
  24. Plus, throw in a little common sense. He "wants" to "help" you out of your "worthless" paper.... right. I have folks like that come into my retail store all the time. They assure me what I have is obsolete, useless, and has little value, but they could maybe find some use for it... Might be willing to help me out of my misery by giving me a portion of my investment back. Here the story all the time. We call em bottom feeders. Stuff like this is irritating, but don't let it get you down.
  25. I've though about this for a long time. Risk go with any investment. If I became a cheerleader for the dinar, and it didn't work out, could have an angry mob looking for me. Either way, people could get upset. What I decided was to do my own research, invest MY money, tell just a few close friends and relatives without disclosing the level of my investment, then just keep quiet. Never was too excited about discussing my personal business and finances with others.
