No, this not a rumor. I just called Capital One branch in Dallas, TX. I talked to the branch manager and he told me that at present they are not selling or buying any Iraqi Dinars. EOM FWIW

May be 5/3 bank employees are not aware of FDIC new rule (as of December 2010) which states that "ANYamount deposited in NON interest checking account is insured" this rule expires December 31, 2012. There is no limit to amount deposited in one single account. Check with branch manager.... Please correct me if I am wrong....

I use to do wire transfer to my stock brokerage account, any wire transfer made prior to 2:00 PM was posting in my account on the same day (COB) i.e. by 5:00 PM. Check with other banks also to make sure . Ask them for their cutoff time.

If US treasury holds 5 Trillion Dinars and the rate (what I have been hearing on different Dinar forun) is going to be $3.22, then US Treasury will have over 15 Trillion US dollars. Question is where the hack all these dollars are going to come from? There are around 20-25 Triillion Dinars are out there.....
