Its not 20 billion plus oil reserves caz, its 20 billion owed to Kuwait by Iraq and currently paid from oil reserves in Dinar allowing Kuwait to stockpile a MASSIVE pile of dinars before RV. They would be nuts to give up a sweetheart deal like that dont cha think? Go RV 2011

While it is a theory, Kuwait has no incentive to give up this huge money maker they now control. Iraq and Kuwait have been working on finding missing war victims for months already. Kuwaitis have an extreme hatred for the Iraqis and have not the least bit of interest to let them off the hook easily, cant say I blame them, their country was ravaged their civilians maimed,mutilated and raped and their oil wells set ablaze, Can you think of one reason they would forgive?

Why do you not address the outstanding war reparations debt to Kuwait in the amount of 22 billion which must be satisfied to lift this stipulation from the chapter 7 file. Based on the payment schedule of 5% of Iraq's oil and gas revenues this is pretty easy to extrapolate to get a feeling of how close we are 2011 at the earliest. Kuwait is in no way eager to help Iraq, given the fact that the longer they are payed in Dinar for the payments the more wealth they will reap upon RV. Kuwait holds the cards in this game. Disagree? Then please expound.

Doesnt seem odd at all if the payment were in dinars equal to the war reparations owed to the Kuwaitis in the amount of $22 billion. Lord knows with 20 plus trillion at their disposal it could be done.

Kuwait wants to continue to string out the current payment arrangement for obvious reasons. They are being re payed in Dinar which allows them to amass a huge stockpile of dinar and when a RV occurs they would have more Dinar to cash in for the new rate. And remember it took Iraq MANY YEARS to repay the portion of debt they have paid thus far. Make sense now? 2011 if we are lucky folks.

You overlook one HUGE obstacle, the 22 Billion owed to Kuwait by Iraq. Until thats satisfied nothing can happen.

Lets not forget Iraq owes Kuwait 20 Billion + and at a payment rate of 5% of oil revenues thats going to take a while to satisfy that obligation. Kapeesh?

Kinda hate to see you go Phoenix, I didnt always agree with your timeline analysis but I am 100% in agreement with your analysis of the pumpers working these sites. Lots of folks here have been played like a fiddle.
