I wouldnt worry too much about bogus bills here in the states, ya cant cash dinar anyway and even if you could, it gets verified before transaction becomes completed in the form of a deposit to a bank. And besides I dont think there will be too folks that could actually pull off a perfect note. And IRS would prolly want copy of original purchase receipt to verify amount.

Have your office help contact my office help and perhaps they can organize a luncheon to discuss the possibilitiy of both you and I meeting to discuss our postponement.

I would love for that to happen, have a small window to change out the larege bill for a small denom. Guesstimates a large note could fetch only a few dimes with no growth, small denom can grow...as for proof? well, i was thinking that the Executive Order that was issued would give us the same rights as Iraqi citizens.....so im assuming that we are safe?

I just called Dinar Trade and sked for copies of receipts of the orders that I have placed. I spoke with "Scott" and he was very helpful and emailed all of my receipts while we were on the telephone. I then asked " Im sure the number one currency you sell is Dinar, whats number 2? He said " You know, we no longer sell foreign currency" I then said " Ok, I guess none are number 2" Great service

You might want to breath, remove emotion and replace with information, then decided what you want to believe. One who speculates looks at many different angles. Id love to see it happen too but at the rate of progress im not too concerned about 35% short term capital gains tax.....with all of the dragging on that the iraq government can create, i will qualify for 15% Long term.

I have owned iraqi dinar for about three months so yes, im still a 'newbie' in this. There are several things I have learned since my introduction of the word "Dinar". I have never heard of the word or what it was. In my three month education, which doesnt even count as a crash course, I have learned more about Middle Eastern Politics, whats a Shabibi and a Maliki. and the fact that if you look very closely at the beauty of the 25,000 dinar note, its quite a work of art. I have done the "What if they lop, will it make my 25000 note worth only 25" routine.....they sure didnt lop the price of it when i bought it so no "do-overs" I have snickered at some of the postings, held my breath in anticipation when a majority speaks of the same emotion of rv possibility. Have learned what a "mis-information" campaign was........thats not nice. I can only imagine the phsycholigical torture the long term investors went thru in thier time of ownership. I have a few new quotes in my vocabulary that im using now-a-days, though I dont know why........Nuff Said, Bing Bang Boom, Suck It Up Cupcake...to name a few. Can even develope somewhat of a mental profile of some of the members......and this is not to be as a label, just my impression so if you think im out of line, its not intentional... McFlyyy here....you all put out some great ideas, the only thing i have to worry about now is when i practice the pipes, just how much land will I need as to not bother the neighbors? I think the reason for the Negative sign before the numbers is just a precautionary step on thier part. Much easier to persuade something negative than positiver as they dont want you to think its an RV. Just me guessing.

Heres my thinking........a 25000 note has a Value of 25000 dinar, you paid for 25000 dinar note...when it RVs at _____ per dinar, it will be _____ times 25000. I think whats happening is the CBI is doing two things at once Lopping and Deleting the 3 zeros which is confusing some folks. And neither one of them is concerned with the other. It just happens be going on at the same time. Lopping: CBI will do that to all of the notes that will not be used in international tradein Iraq after the note returns there Raising the 3 zeros : .00085 can become .85, yes that does make for a stronger currency, inside Iraq first, the as for the RV we really couldnt care whats on the right side of the decimal, we just want a huge number on the left side, higher the better
