  1. Just wondering if anyone remembered this from last year. I'll give you a hint: George. We'll find out soon enough. Take care.
  2. I'm assuming it's AC, and he wrote: "FYI: Iran is going to be changing out their currency and dropping not three but four zeros from the currency ...." Can anyone explain THAT one? Really got me corn-fused. Take care.
  3. Your post seemed clear: you were drawing parallels between the "gurus" and their lies, whose sole purpose was to increase dinar sales to line their own pockets. I just don't see how you can draw such a conclusion when to do so means every single person who has claimed an RV date and was wrong, did it on purpose knowing it was NOT in fact an RV date. Color me naive if you like, but I cannot accept such a conclusion. Yes, even when they've done it hundreds of times over the past several years. It seems much more likely to me that they are simply people with various sources of "intel" who are very enthusiastic about this investment. I mean really? What sounds more logical or reasonable to you? And again, the very fact that you're making such an egregious claim completely (to me at least) undermines your entire argument. On an aside I agree with the poster who said this thread would be much more appropriate in an "opinion" forum. If you are somehow simply trying to use the word "lie" to mean any claim of an RV date that didn't come to pass, well then I point you back to the definition of the word. It's not simply the opposite of truth. I don't know. Maybe I'm just arguing semantics but I'm sure you see where I'm coming from. The definition of the word "lie" contains more than just a false statement. It implies duplicity. It implies deliberation. It implies knowing the truth then misrepresenting it. None of which I think apply to the overzealous gurus who have repeatedly for the past several years given us "intel" that the dinar will RV in the next few days. Tossing in the never ending supply of crap comment didn't help in my interpretation of your intent, I will not deny. Take care. p.s. Mixing fact and opinion doesn't help either (i.e., the facts you presented versus your obvious opinionated comments re: liars and crap - heh - love ya' Legolas!)
  4. I get irritated when people try to make a point without properly utilizing the words they are conveying. I understand there is a lot of frustration floating around but using inflammatory rhetoric to "prove" your point...in my humble opinion you totally undermine your entire argument thereby. Consider... Lie Definition Dictionary.com lie 1    [lahy] Show IPA noun, verb, lied, ly·ing. –noun 1. a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood. (emphasis mine) More inflammatory rhetoric. Again, at best you're simply being rude. At worst you're relegating entire posts and threads to the dung heap with your sweeping generality (i.e., it's ALL crap!) While it is POSSIBLE that some "gurus" and/or "pumpers" are in fact LYING, to claim that ALL gurus are doing so is at best (as I've mentioned above) inflammatory rhetoric. At worst you're guilty of the same "crap" you mention being brought here. Look, you're obviously very intelligent. As many others have done so I applaud your logical, reasonable argument. But to cast heaping piles of disdain and to level false accusations on anybody posting in the RUMOR forum, nay on EVERYBODY posting in the rumor forum...for the past what, several years? For shame, sir! Take care. p.s. Regarding your point (which you could have made without all of your inflammatory rhetoric), didn't Scooter provide exciting and meaningful evidence for the possibility of an RV?
  5. Kim Clements added this tonight to his prophetical utterances regarding the IQD: Three times nothing is something. So now we've got that and his previous: Hasn't been time, hasn't been time, sudden change! Frank went on to explain that he believed the three times nothing was related to the lifting of the three zeroes (nothings). I had to leave and didn't get to finish listening after that, but I wanted to hear what Kim had to say. Kim also went on to say that he definitely believed this investment was going to "pan out" (my words) this summer, and that he felt good about July being the month. Those last two were his "feelings" regarding how the Lord was leading him on this whole thing and not prophecy per se. Or at least how I understood him. I am impressed with Kim's ministry, just like I was with George Robinson's (and still am). But I can't help but think about how it seems that Frank is now on his second prophet...I dunno'. On the one hand it all seems kind've corny. On the other hand I am fully aware and will never deny the power of God, and how his ways are above our ways. Hopefully when this is all over we can look back and see that we simply misunderstood the prophecies at the time and how they were actually quite accurate. I'll be honest: I'm still waiting to see if the rate comes out at $3.89 like George said. Take care.
  6. Yeah I missed that part. I don't recall him ever asking for money on any of the half a dozen CCs I've listened to him on. Can you be more specific? A link would be superb. Take care.
  7. I really don't want to descend into the realm of arguing semantics, but a proper understanding and usage of the language is necessary to effective communication. When you come to Dinarvets.com you have a button up on the top labeled Forums, do you not? And when you click on it are you not presented with a list of links to various forums? Yes, and yes. This *IS* in fact a Rumor Forum on a Dinar Investment website. I am also not aware of any requirement for disclaimers preceding any of our posts here in the Rumor forum. When signing up we are claiming to be at least 18 years of age. With that claim comes the assumption that we are mature enough to make adult decisions about what we read and how we let it affect our lives. Just like you are adult enough to make choices about whether or not to abide by the Terms of Service you agreed to before posting here. Calling Easy a pet is a good example. I personally wouldn't want to be called a pet, and I'm sure you wouldn't either. So why do you blatantly violate this site's rules by continuing to do something which is at best simply rude? I can no more prove that they are telling the truth than you can prove they are telling a lie. Before you respond, please visit your nearest dictionary and look up the meaning of the word 'lie'. Thank you. I've got to get back to work. It all boils down to this: you (among others) are violating the Terms of Service of this site. Easy is NOT. Please leave those of us who choose to abide by the rules and have rational, adult POLITE conversation alone. It's that simple. It is not your job to "protect the rights" of the "newbies" by violating the rules that were set up here to encourage discourse on the Iraqi Dinar. Take care.
  8. It has nothing to do with loyalty, unless you mean loyalty to common decency and respect. Look, this is the RUMOR forum. Prove that these people are actually lying (i.e., DELIBERATELY misrepresenting the truth) or keep your "...abusive, harassing, ... defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, ... hateful ...." comments to yourself! And yeah, that's straight from the Terms of Service we all agreed to abide by when signing up to post here. There is nothing wrong with discussing the rumors that Easy posts. There is EVERYTHING wrong with harassing Easy for doing so. You are NOT contributing to meaningful exchange. You are, in fact, "act[ing] in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to engage in exchanges" by inserting your inflammatory rhetoric into discussions. Another violation of the Terms of Service. So please, all any of us are asking you to do is: contribute meaningfully to the discussion or simply be quiet. You are not helping or protecting anybody with your attempt to dissuade or discredit Easy with your volatile diatribe. You ARE violating the rules of these forums and hopefully if you continue to do so something will be done about it. Additionally, we're all supposed to be adults here. We're all "big boys and girls". Let other people make up their own minds about these RUMORS, or try and contribute rationally to discussion. Take care.
  9. I was referring to the stir things up comment you made above. No biggie. Should have prefaced my motivational comment with a /tongue-in-cheek smiley or something. Do those even exist? I concur to agree to disagree. Not to "stir things up" again (hee hee hee) but my whole angle was simply logical thought. I can leave the word "prophet" out of my argument if you'd like, and I'm curious if that would actually change anything concerning your rebuttal. Here goes... If someone foretells the future in the name of the Lord and their foretelling fails to come to pass as foretold, what does that make them? Perhaps more to the point, should they keep foretelling the future in the name of the Lord? I've enjoyed the civil discussion thus far! Take care.
  10. Easy, thank you for the post. I for one appreciate the links and more importantly the effort you expend to collect information from various sites/sources. Saves me from having to go anywhere else, pretty much. As for those of you "bashing" Easy...really? On the Rumors forum? I agree with the poster above that suggested administrative action be taken against those who continue to harass those posters on this forum. I mean it's the RUMORS forum and Easy brings some RUMORS over and is subsequently lambasted for it. In fact, those of you who do so are in blatant violation of this very forum's Terms of Service. Ridiculous! Easy, post on! Take care.
  11. So Sam T, are you saying that someone who prophesies falsely is NOT a false prophet? I mean really, what ARE you saying? Mr. Robinson's own words were "...I prophesied...", and his prophecy didn't come to pass. Concerning my discussion, I don't care if he's in what you call the "office of a prophet" or not. He foretold the future at the leading of the Lord, and his foretelling did not come to pass. I've got an idea: what DOES that make Mr. Robinson? Before you answer recall that Mr. Robinson claimed to know this future (the RV of the IQD) based on what he said the Lord revealed to him. And regarding your warning I point you to Deuteronomy. If a prophecy fails, fear not the prophet! Take care. p.s. It concerns me that you've apparently started to assume things about my motivation/personality. I ask you to stop and re-read my posts regarding Mr. Robinson before doing so again. Furthermore I'll go ahead and restate what I've written numerous times in the past: I love Mr. Robinson and am greatly impressed by his testimony and ministry. I feel he is a great and genuine minister of the Lord. It's his prophesying that has me concerned.
  12. He did. If more people continue to say otherwise I'll go and dig it up. Hopefully they'll just realize they're wrong because I'm lazy. DreeDree, what are you talking about? And your last statement is exactly my point: Mr. Robinson is NOT one of this site's "gurus". He is a minister of the LORD. Let me say that again. He is a minister of the LORD! He was given revelation/visions/whatever that he claimed were from the LORD regarding the RV of the IQD. He did NOT take the advice of Paul in Corinthians 14:29, which says, "Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge." Are we not OBLIGATED as Mr. Robinson's brothers in Christ to draw attention to the fact that his prophecy has for all intents and purposes, failed to come to pass as he revealed it? Or do we brush it under the rug? I believe the point of God giving us a litmus test for prophecy and Paul's admonition in Corinthians 14:29 is so we don't get repeat offenders. If Mr. Robinson's prophecy concerning the RV of the IQD failed, then we are told by God that we do not need to "fear" Mr. Robinson any more. Whatever else he may prophesy is now suspect. THAT is the whole point of my drawing attention to this, of others drawing attention to this. So we won't be led to act based on Mr. Robinson's "revelations". Because I'm not gonna' lie, I TOTALLY believed it was going to happen based on my understanding of Christianity, of spiritual matters, and Mr. Robinson's testimony. Did I go and spend all my rent money and utility money on dinar after hearing Mr. Robinson? No, thankfully God has kept me from being stupid. But still. Now we know, at least as far as Mr. Robinson's prophecies are concerned, that he is just as likely to be right as any of the other so called "gurus" or financial advisors. Or so it appears to my finite human mind. Just, really people. I love Mr. Robinson. I praise God for him, his testimonies, and his ministry. Again, he seems to be a genuine minister of the Lord. But when it comes to his prophesying...I dunno'. Maybe he should tell us what went wrong. Take care. p.s. And yeah, I'm ignoring you people who keep telling me he never said he was a prophet, yada yada. I can recall him describing, in his own words, one of his financial predictions. He HIMSELF used the word "prophesied". As in, "I PROPHESIED ...." I mean seriously! And what does a prophet do? Wait for it...wait for it! He PROPHESIZES! And hey...I know this is an online forum and I need to be careful how my words portray my feelings. With that said, if I were in person talking to the people who keep telling me he never said he was a prophet I would be responding with a grin on my face, a sucker punch to their arm and a big fat, "POWNED!" As in, I love you guys but it's simultaneously funny and irritating how you can keep claiming that he didn't say he was a prophet when he himself used words describing himself as such. You see that, right? It's me, smiling with my TONGUE sticking out at you! Got it? <3
  13. When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. (Deuteronomy 18:22) A quick preface: PLEASE don't confuse the issue by claiming George Robinson never said he was a prophet. He claimed the Lord SHOWED him what was to come to pass regarding the RV of the Iraqi Dinar. How much plainer can it be? I hung in there to the last possible second. I really, REALLY wanted Mr. Robinson to be correct. Not so much because I wanted to be monetarily rich (God be praised I'm already abundantly blessed in this life), but because he appeared to be a genuine minister of the Lord and had some very exciting things to tell about, for example, next year. Now I must take the advice of God himself and categorize Mr. Robinson as a "presumptuous" person, and pretty much discount anything he has to say in future. I admit this grudgingly, to be honest, but how long can you make excuses for someone? End of May came and went. First [half] of June came and went. June 29th came and went. No RV. No RV. No RV. Are we to assume the 29 meant July? August? September? This doesn't lessen the magnitude or awesomeness of God's glory or power in the slightest to me. Just Mr. Robinson's. So my question: can we all now safely conclude that Mr. Robinson is a false prophet? I hate to admit it, but yes, unfortunately it appears that we can. Take care.
  14. T-minus 7 hrs 45 minutes.... (Central Standard Time)
  15. Ahem. I'm hoping more for like a 3890 fold reward??? Take care.
  16. From a chat log on another site ([xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)2011/06/25/okie-oil-man-chat-62411-230pm/"]Iraqi Dinar News[/url]). Thought some of you might get a kick out of this. I thought it was humorous. [14:43:44] FoxyRoxy : Okie, would you be offended if I said I hope this is a short-lived site???Smile [14:44:40] @ OKIE OIL MAN : FOXYROXY—THATS MY WISH TOO—-I WANTED TO FADE INTO THE SUNSET AND NOT BE AT THE TIP OF THE SPEAR ANYMORE—-BUT FATE I GUESS HAD OTHER IDEAS’ Lol! If he's the "tip of the spear" then...well, nevermind. I'll let the rest of you run with it. I look forward to the witty comments! Take care. EDIT: left off "...ANYMORE..." to the end. Oopsie!
  17. Aha! Gotcha'! You'll note that I didn't actually call him a prophet! YOU DID! lol! I simply used words that George himself used. If you've listened to him you've heard him refer to his "word", or "prediction" regarding silver for example, as him prophesying. E.g.: "I prophesied that silver would fall back to blah blah...." I think it's interesting that you did the same thing I did: assume that a prophesy is given by a prophet. Heh. Look, if it'll help you any let's start calling him a foreteller then. George FORETOLD that the Dinar would revalue, "...the end of May, first of June, 29...." at $3.89. Better? If his FORETELLING doesn't come to pass though, he's still a FALSE FORETELLER! And to the rest of you who continue to claim that George was wrong...don't take this the wrong way, but can you not listen/read? I have reprinted his prophecy, oops, err...foretelling! many times. It hasn't failed yet. There's still the matter of the 29. Oh, and yeah, this IS an investment. But like everything else in life if you don't allow God to lead you you're going to fall. Take care.
  18. *cough* Uhh, I'll try and legitimize the bump! To recap, Mr. Robinson prophesied that the Dinar would RV: "...the end of May, first of June, 29...." @ $3.89 .........1......................2..............3..................4. I've broken the prophecy into 4 parts: 1) the first period mentioned 2) the second period mentioned (note that it was phrased exactly like (1) and should be assumed to mean a period, not a DAY 3) the unexplained (by Mr. Robinson, or anyone else for that matter) number and (4) the rate I'm not going to go back and spend hours digging through past posts/info/reports to see what, if anything, happened that could fit into (1) and (2). If anyone has any conjecture, go for it. What I will do however is focus on (3) and (4). I'll cut to the chase and say this: with all of the secular sources pointing to the end of this month it seems possible that the "29" could very well mean June 29th. Next Wednesday. When that day comes and goes, or IF the RV occurs on that day at anything other than $3.89, Mr. Robinson is a false prophet. It'll pain me to make that accusation, but nevertheless. Do you think politicians should be accountable? Well how much more so Christian leaders? Take care. EDIT: switched to 1-4 instead of A-B. Heh.
  19. When a PROPHET speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the PROPHET hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. (Deuteronomy 18:22) Ok, so what you're saying is foretelling the future (prophesying) does not mean you're someone who can foretell the future (prophet)? Got it! Thanks! Wait.... Take care.
  20. When someone says, "I prophesied ..." then that's in effect the same thing, is it not? I'll use my auto mechanic analogy again. If I say, "I fixed a car last month. Before that I fixed 2 more cars." Do I need to proclaim I'm an auto mechanic? It's self evident. If George Robinson made the claim, "On such and such a date I foretold that xxx would happen," then he's a prophet. At least, as long as its verifiable and came to pass as he foretold. Otherwise he's a false prophet. I don't think George calls himself a "prophet" because he's humble. Every thing I've heard from the man indicates the genuine article as far as him being a minister of the Lord. IMHO. Take care.
  21. I'm calling him a prophet because he is quoted as saying he made prophesies. I believe someone (don't remember who) pointed out that scripturally, there is a difference between the New Testament "office" of a prophet, and prophesying. All Christians are urged to basically pray for the gift of prophesy. So yeah, someone who makes a prophesy is a prophet in my book and is subject to the if it doesn't come true you're a false prophet thing. But oh, to answer your question I don't think he ever referred to himself as a prophet, no. Again though, he did refer to himself making prophecies (e.g., "I prophesied....") Take care.
  22. Contrary to what some may think of my comments defending Mr. Robinson, I am wholeheartedly in agreement with the "one strike you're out" mentality when it comes to prophets, or prophesying. If someone claims to have a "word" from God involving any kind of foretelling (i.e., a prophesy), and it doesn't happen exactly, EXACTLY like they said it would, then they're a false prophet and you should pretty much disregard anything else they have to say. With that said, after critical analysis of Mr. Robinson's original prophesy I do not believe we can conclude with finality that he has indeed missed the mark, so to speak. He originally said that he saw it revaluing, "...the end of May, first of June, 29," and at a rate of $3.89. He later clarified (on May 30th, 2 days before June 1st) that the "first of June" meant by June 10th. He did NOT claim further revelation from the Lord regarding this clarification, and this is why I do not believe he missed the mark. He simply proffered his opinion of what the Lord meant by "first of June". He never offered any intelligence on what the 29 meant, and I believe he even confessed not knowing. So as I've posted in another thread if either of these two things happen I will cast in with the lot of you who are calling him a false prophet (pardon me if I refrain from throwing stones, since I'm sure I'm just as guilty if not more so of having done something else worthy of being stoned for): 1) if June 29th comes and goes with no RV 2) if it RVs at any rate other than $3.89 Take care. I disagree. For a Christian religion has everything to do with every thing. If you start to cordon off areas of your life that you have marked "religion free", then you have effectively blocked God from those areas of your life. In other words, everything we do, say, or think should go first through the filter of our religion, or rather our relationship with God. And as I've stated before, I don't believe any man can know the mind of God. Can you or I say without a shadow of doubt, that God couldn't have shown Mr. Robinson something regarding this investment? Not yet, at least, but the time is rapidly approaching where we'll be able to. Heh. Whenever I find myself thinking about praying for this RV to come soon, or whatever, I recoil in disgust at the selfishness of the thought. I promptly rebuke it, and move on. I admit I have prayed that God's will be done concerning this RV, but I find the idea of praying for it to happen soon to be highly distasteful. After all we're not supposed to seek the riches of wealth, we're supposed to seek the riches of a spiritual relationship with our heavenly Father. And it's then, he tells us, that the other stuff will follow. Take care.
  23. Can you provide a link to this "second audio" please? I just finished listening to an audio from May 23, where he states: "So i sold it on monday for just short of, it was close to $50 an ounce." Checking Historical Silver I see where that is verifiable. ??????? Take care.
  24. Was this perhaps supposed to be directed at the person I was quoting, because I don't see how it applies at all to what I was saying? Take care.
  25. So you've accused George Robinson of being a liar, a criminal, and a clown... Wow. This to me is a lot more indicative of your character than Mr. Robinson's prophecy (which hasn't been proven, in your own words, COMPLETELY wrong yet by the way) is of his. What about the fact that your false statement, "The guy ... tries to use his position ... to make money" contrariwise makes YOU a liar? Unless you can prove that somehow Mr. Robinson is making money off of his prediction may I politely suggest that you figuratively shut your trap and keep your inflammatory, derogatory comments to yourself. You, among others, are in flagrant violation of the Terms of Use you agreed to abide by when you signed up for these forums (Terms of Use). And contrary to the idea of some that it's a "sign of the times" to use inflammatory, derogatory words when posting, I prefer to stick with the polite and honest kind. Take care.
