  1. When I click on the links to your contest pages, I get a message saying, "this webpage is not available". When I click on your other links in this message, like Iraqi news and purchasing a VIP, the links work. This has happened to me since your first email about the contest. What is going on?
  2. I think this is great! Not only will the government straighten up and play nice to host the games, hopefully the Iraqi people will stop their violence in order to set a good image for the neighboring/participating teams. The political BS stops to get it done, the citizen violence towards each other stops to get it done! Yay for football/soccer!!!! You never know what insignificant things might spark progress. Thanks Brisco for bringing this and thanks Bondlady for picking up on this interesting tidbit of news.
  3. There are bombings and assassinations on a weekly if not daily basis in Iraq. I don't know if this is big news or not, just because some 'prisoners' were 'freed' this time. I think it's business as usual over there. The Iraqi government continues trekking along. Very sad to say, but true.
  4. I think there are bombings EVERY day in Iraq lately...
  5. No matter what has happened or how much change (good or bad) takes place over there, this anti-American sentiment is perpetuated in Iraq. It makes me think that the government and people of Iraq would do anything they could to keep us from cashing in on our investment too! This anti-American attitude is so sad on so many levels. I can't wait to get out of this investment and be done with all this nonsense...Iraqi mentality is very depressing to me. How sad to go through life just wanting to hurt others, "even if I lose my life in the process, I just want to see them hurt". Yuck!
  6. This is an idea I read here on Dinarvet: how about cashing in just enough Dinar for a plane ticket to Belize, Switzerland or somewhere else, then cash in the rest of your Dinar in that country? When you file your US taxes, you can declare your foreign accounts, but the IRS can't touch them until you actually use the money in the US...
  7. Does anyone know of a bank in New Mexico selling Dinar? We have no 5/3 or Chase, and the only Ironstone branch does not deal in Dinar. The websites for these banks are hard to navigate (requires a state AND city for a branch search). Does anyone know of banks other than 5/3, Chase, Ironstone? Thanks
