  1. see above! jeese, on another thread your saying it's all over and now your the great apologist?
  2. They've been continually bombing each other for years, including the last few. Baghdad is not a very friendly place! All you "sky is falling" people are really starting to annoy me. Sell you friggin dinar and go away!
  3. You said it. My sentiments exactly. I don't think the Iraqi army will let it get to a state of civil war though. You may see an offensive against all the sunni militias and literally wipe them off the face of the earth. No matter what we may think about Iraq's shiite neighbour, Iran... it's the sunni's that are the major stumbling block in Iraq! They are the main evil in Iraq and Syria! History proves that! You sir are a moron!I don't like Wolf Blitzer because he's a left wing loon, but I don't like anti semitics either. Unbelievable!
  4. A trillion dinars is only a billion dollars. That's how much dinar is bought by the CBI auctions every 4 or 5 days and is literally a drop in the oil bucket. I don't know why your getting your panties in such a knot over a few stories of trouble in Iraq. They'll muddle their way through this and continue to make progress. The Iraqi army is hundreds of thousands strong now with the latest western training and weapons. Trouble makers will never again gain a strong foothold with any large numbers of fighters before they are wiped off the face of the earth! The Iraqi army will do exactly what the US Army did to them... killed them all! You guys are like a bunch of whiners driving in a snow storm. Slow and easy is the way! Grow up and grow some balls!
  5. Hehehe! Good one In Iraq!! Eat that Mr Unhappy!
  6. I wouldn't say it's nonsense. That's just a little harsh to the poster. It's just not correct. They RI'd their money in Kuwait after it sank in value to basically nothing, then they did consecutive RD's to bring it to today's value. All old news!
  7. Agreed Easy. Hopefully there will be lots of evidence to connect Allawi to this assassination attempt. They can put his sorry little a$$ in jail and continue on with the process to join the rest of the world and open Iraq for business.
  8. It's islam that divides them! The idea that it's a religion of peace is foreign to most muslims. All they have ever seen for centuries is death and violence! They are what we were in the dark ages, ignorant and ruled by tyrants! It may take centuries for the sunnis and shiites to make amends, as it did the west, to overcome the hatred between catholics and protestants! We're not done either in some peoples hearts It will take bold men with new ideas to bring them together. Lets hope they can start that process by following through with democratic reforms and truly believing in rule of law. It's their only hope. Barring that, I still think, even under a totalitarian regime, we'll see a significant revalue of the Iraq currency. The rest of the arab gulf states are dictatorships, (they call them kings ) and their currencies are valuable, their people rich, and they trade their oil openly on the world market. One way or the other, Iraqi oil will be exploited!
  9. Well, that was a waste of 10 minutes!
  10. It's CNN anyways. They want Iraq to fail so they can say "We told you so". I don't watch anything on that BS Ted Turner owned channel. It should be called the UNN!
  11. It's CNN anyways. They want Iraq to fail so they can say "We told you so". I don't watch anything on that BS Ted Turner owned channel. It should be called the UNN!
  12. From this article, it looks like they are trying to bring a blended bill to parliament. The original, and some of the changes Maliki's party want. Lets hope they can co-operate, like they did for the original Irbil agreement and get it done. It's not that much different than the US's budget debacle last year. It still isn't really done either. I think many politicians in any democratic country, loose focus on what is important to the people. Thank goodness, if neccessary, we can get rid of them every 4 years!
  13. Ya, 1400 years ago the marauding, murdering and thieving Mohammed took over with his false religion!
  14. Simple reply, no book required. This is BS!
  15. Who cares. Reading that sites stories is a waste of time. They never give the links to back up what they print. They could make up anything they want. Oh my, I've got the evil 666 for posts. Scaryyyyy....
  16. Couldn't have said it better! Plus 1. We are moving forward folks. It will be soon!
  17. If the trouble makers who live in Fallujah raise their ugly heads again and start bombing and killing to any large degree, their own Iraqi army will be sent in there and do exactly what the US Army did. Kill them all! I wonder how they'll spin that one to blame America! Arabs males need to be wheeling and dealing making money some how or they resort back to their baser instincts and start killing each other for any assumed insult, be it religious, political or honourary. History doesn't lie! It will take decades for Arabs to learn to live by rule of law and democracy. I'm not trying to be mean or racist. It's just the truth! The Iraqi army and police will have their hands full and will have to use brute force to quell future uprisings. If they fail to do this, the new Iraq will fall and become a basket case once again and no one will bail them out! Lets hope and pray that they keep large scale, extreme violence at bay and that that will allow the economy to grow and create jobs for the masses. God help them all. Our investment will be safe if they can keep the peace.
  18. Your name says it all! Why do so many people feel they have to post "this is old news". Who cares if it's been posted a thousand times. Really? Adam's said it a hundred times before this, so why can't someone else.
  19. Yes, they did. These are Sunnies. They were the supporters of the Bathe Party of which Saddam was their leader! Same clowns that run Syria!
  20. Or... maybe on Sylvester Stallone's birthday! Yoh, Tony, I tinks we need to pumble Shabs some. Make um rv this thang! Brings back memories of Family Guy!
  21. My dad always told me if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything. I'm trying, how about everyone else!
  22. This type of violence has been happening daily for years all over Iraq. This is nothing new! If you'll notice this is a CNN story. CNN are the biggest leftist media outlet in the world. I wouldn't doubt that CNN would like Iraq to become a failed state so they could go... "look, we told you so. George Bush was wrong to invade". F__king CNN dickweeds!!
  23. This is the same BS that has been spouted for months by the CBI & GOI. He isn't going to pay us anything. Their money will be just worth that much more! Right now there currency is based on a broken down, war torn and beaten country. When it rv's it will be based on the real potential of a thriving democracy with outragious wealth, with a world of investors that will beat down the doors to get into it!!! For those of you that think it will LOP. Why, why on earth would Iraq want to continue to have a currency that is worthless and rendered virtually untradable. How will Iraq gain wealth and prominence and attract foreign investment by making their currect currency more worthless than it is now? The only way they will come out of this with the possibility to have a thriving economy is to have a strong re-valuation of their currency. And I don't mean ridiculous amounts. It will revalue at 10-20 cents and build from there.
  24. It was very clear to many of us long ago. They have always been buying dinar for USD to decrease the money supply and replace it with dollars. To hell with those that think Iraq has 30 trillion dinar in reserves. I bet it's almost near nothing after CBI's auctions this year, averaging 150-200 million USD per day. This is almost over. Suck eggs LOPSTERS!!
  25. I watched that whole press conference. There were many references to Iraqi sovereignty and their ability to buy WMD from the US, ie; jet fighters, naval and ground defenses. They called it the Strategic Framework Agreement, but didn't really get into any details other than talking about US military personel training them on F16's. They also talked about Iraq's long term wealth opportunities. Something we all know too much about! As Adam has said in the past, and I wholeheartedly agree... for Iraq to be able to adequately defend herself, they require WMD, and to get those weapons they will have to be removed from UN Chapter VII sanctions and become a full soverein nation with all the rights and privileges thereof. Lets hope our ride is soon over. We've never been closer!
