As the Islamic State takes over large swaths of Iraq and Syria, political leaders from Washington to Baghdad and the Arabian peninsula worry that Iraq is in danger of splintering into pieces. "The time has come to accept that you can't put Humpty Dumpty back together again. The old multiethnic Iraq is over," Richard Haas, a former senior U.S. diplomat, told Bloomberg television May 22. It is unrealistic to treat Iraq as a single country, as it is irrevocably splintering into three parts -- Kurdish, Sunni and Shiite, said Haas, who is currently president of the Council on Foreign Relations. "The bottom line remains: The strategy isn't working and it can't work," he said, contending Washington in the future will have to channel military aid directly to local forces without working through the dysfunctional central government in Baghdad. Surprisingly, he got support from a deputy prime minister of Iraq -- Kurdish politician Rowsch Shaways. Shaways told the World Economic Forum in Jordan May 22 that the country could conceivably break up. I am sorry but unless someone on here can come along and convince me otherwise, i am ALMOST convinced this paper called the Iraqi Dinar, is not going anywhere but down in my lifetime. I mean come on guy's, how can we really expect this to pay off, when those IS Animals are over there destroying everything and killing everyone they can? Heck, it looks to me like the US will end up back over there for another 10 yrs! Or at east they will need to for Iraqi's economy to survive. It may one day become worth something but i think the bills are going to change before then.There are justy toooooo many of these Dinar's in the hands of American's, for them to make all of us wealthy off their currency! I just feel like you could really bet on something going south from here. There is no way, we are going to here good news out of this country for a VERY long time, at least! The financial experts out here are saying that we are waiting for nothing. They claim that there is more of a chance that Iraq will be divided into 3 states by all this ISIS crap going on, than there is for Iraq to RV! They are saying the notes we hold will ultimately be worth notta! Then they bring up that if it were such a great investment, that the big money would be all in, but they're not. But of course, my question is this. Are they just trying to spook as many of us out before it happens, or are we just really chasing the wind?

Ok, look! All my buddies will not stop trying to shoot me down for holding onto these Dinars for soooo long! They always say, " how can i think that the government will stand back and watch soooo many people become wealthy at the same time?" They say they will do something to screw all of us out of it, and that the only ones that will benefit are the Iraqi citizens. Some one please ease my mind here, and give me some kind of comeback to use on these idiots! How can i dispute this possibility, that they call a probability???

Adam, just wanted to let you know, that my views are EXACTLY like yours! Soooooo glad you decided to let it all out! I for one, respect and trust you even more now! I do have a great concern about our investment here. I have been asked multiple times, if I really thought they would allow all us American's that own Dinar's, to become wealthy individuals? I am hearing that the our government will rig the game, so to speak, so they get theirs, but will make sure that we never make the exchange before the dollar crashes. Toooooo many American's invested. What is your thought on all of these opinions / allegations? Anyone one else that wants to chime in, please do! Frank, What about your call on or around 07/01/11????????? The one that i spent about 30 min or so, listening to some guy say that his Chase Bank informed him that they would cash him in on the day after ther 4th of July at the RV rate??????? What was up with that????? Please let me know.

Did anyone out there besides me, listen to a call from July 1, 2011, between Someone named Frank and a guy going by Artman???? On this call this Artman guy (i may have the names here wrong?), specifically stated that he went to a Chase bank on 07/01/11 and was told to come back the day after the 4th of July,and they would be ready to cash him in at the RV rate! Whats up with this??? Surely, these two guys would not pull a hoax on us,would they??? What could they possibly gain from making this up??? But it could not be true if there has been no RV yet???? Someone please help me figure this one out!!!!!
