In the meantime the Mrs. and I are gonna do a practice run to the beach...the Outer Banks beach that is...Belize is gonna have to wait for the RV!

This just goes to show y’all can’t take some media at its word....at the time this was written “no one” was able to get in to Wilmington, even the Interstate was under water! Those that stayed were warned you’ll be on your own...it didn’t matter the skin color...the rescuers couldn’t get to them safely! When things did settle down a bit everyone was helping everyone...they are all neighbors! So yeah...I’m calling bull on this article...just sayin! 🤨

No presure on anyone, if you can, and feel led...thank you for all your efforts to my adopted state of North Carolina (of course the S.A. will help those in South Carolina and Virginia... that’s just the way they roll! 😉

Sandfly to Sir Adam and all his wonderful “Mod Squad” for all y’all do, and I know this isn’t “Dinar related”, but it’s people related and after all we here at DV are one big family...and in times past Adam and others have stepped up during times of distress on this nation and other parts of the world in their times of need. As a North Carolina resident we appreciate all your prayers we really do! We personally were fortunate to just miss the worst of Florence, however those along the coast will have years of rebuilding their lives. There are many ways folks can help...prayers of coarse, but putting feet to our prayers helps on a whole nother level. Just a reminder during times of catastrophe...be careful who your donations go to that the recipients receive the bulk of those donations! I’ve always stuck my neck out to support the Salvation Army as I’ve worked with them shoulder to shoulder and can vouch for them...they are the real deal and I can’t think of any better place to donate if your in a position to help out with the recovery process.  Im also finding it hard to believe but some people are actually pointing fingers of blame but I’m reminded that the rain falls on the just and the unjust...and we can all have an impact on showing love and compassion in the midst of some folks greatest hour of need. Just sayin’! 😉 (Hopefully I’m not oversteppin’ boundary’s by posting here, if so please TG feel free to move or remove this post!).

Sandfly for the update Adam, and thanks for all you and your Mod Squad do to keep us Dinarians “somewhat level headed”...that’s gotta be a full time job in itself! 😉 So as we either choose to have faith that this ride is almost over, or sink into the old ruts of thinkin’ this will take forever let’s keep in mind one thing...one day, someday , Iraq is going to want to stand on its own two feet, puff out their chest and take pride in their country again! Just how quickly that is...only they really know! In the meantime life here goes on, and we make the most of it when we don’t miss a second of it!

Sandfly PP...2nd knee replacement slightly more challenging but during recovery I stayed real busy carving for the first time in 5 yrs. I had dislocated both thumbs and in so much pain until a Native American Dr. adjusted them and gave me new life to carve again. I just had the privilege of Protocoling/honoring with a gift several folks out at the Crazy Horse Monument including a descendant of Crazy Horse and two decendants Of Chief Red Cloud. It was a trip of a life time and the most fulfilling thing I’ve done in a while! So sorry I’ve been playin’ hooky but I had good reason to lay low here, been busy on another front! I’m back to work now though so hope to be a regular again! 😉
