Iraq, Kurds take step toward oil law compromise

About as firm as Jell-O. Deadlines mean absolutely nothing to these people. -
Is Warka a good choice this close to a possible RV?
zaborniake replied to Hawaii 50's topic in Dinar Rumors
I have one. There are several benefits. You can buy dinar for the CBI rate, have dinar in an electronic format, and invest in the ISX. IMO, the biggest draw is the electronic format. Although it won't protect you from a LOP, you can let it sit and ride if the RV comes out "low" like .10. Plus I think the interest rate is around 6%. The question isn't whether it's too late in the game to try, it may be too late to get an account for several months. I've heard people are having trouble getting the paperwork through. Hope that helps. -
Adam's Rate

Adam's Rate
zaborniake replied to bluejay's topic in Opinions, Perspectives, and Your Two Cents on the Iraqi Dinar
Anyone who has a hard time accepting a dime really needs to get their head out of their ass. At a penny I'll be laughing all the way to the bank. -
Adam's Rate
zaborniake replied to bluejay's topic in Opinions, Perspectives, and Your Two Cents on the Iraqi Dinar
Just because Adam owns a site, it doesn't make his rate "prediction" any more or less likely than anyone else's. I'm hoping for any RV rate that prevents a straight RD. -
Just let him have his moment...

I'm not understanding why people are questioning this document. The CBI has put up .pdf files before. If it's on the site, it has to have some validity. Now, what they are being used for is another question.

Expectations of higher inflation in Iraq
zaborniake replied to FreckledFuzz's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
Wasn't there an article posted that inflation decreased from 7.6% to 7.3% for September? -
No kidding!

Maybe a fire sale by the members after a certain few made comments that they were jumping ship is bad for business.

You're going to keep O from being reelected? Really? I'm going to get hit with negs for this, but that has to one of the most ridiculous statements I have read here.

Maliki receives delegation of China Development Bank
zaborniake replied to k98nights's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
So, if M met with China yesterday, I'm betting that he and the Kurds did not. Good point, and most likely the case. -
SCOOTER'S POST
zaborniake replied to zaborniake's topic in Opinions, Perspectives, and Your Two Cents on the Iraqi Dinar
It has to be in the trillions. The Iraqis walk to the store or to work each day over billions of dollars. Not that is any sort of calculation, just an allusion to how much wealth the ground contains. -
"Arbil Convention did not bear fruit"
zaborniake replied to FreckledFuzz's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
I don't think that this article has anything to do with the supposed meeting today between the Kurds and M. I'm certain that, if **** hit the fan, there would be multiple articles out from each side. -
Phoenix radio show, Breakthrough Pending
zaborniake replied to TonyDownTheShore's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
That's the other problem. No one seems to want to sack up and do anything about it. Everyone is content to piss and moan to the media and pout. We'll see. -
Phoenix radio show, Breakthrough Pending
zaborniake replied to TonyDownTheShore's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
That is true. The frustrating part about the the squabble between Baghdad and Kurdistan is that the Kurds seem to be the only group that is interested in moving forward for the sake of their people. Talibani and Barzani always seem willing to meet and make compromises to settle these outstanding issues. The Erbil agreement, however, is something that I don't believe that they will bend on. -

IMO, no. I don't see the reason why Kuwait would. I don't believe that Kuwait is all that interested in Iraq being removed from Ch 7. -

Yes, unfortunately. It doesn't look like I missed too much. -
SCOOTER'S POST
zaborniake replied to zaborniake's topic in Opinions, Perspectives, and Your Two Cents on the Iraqi Dinar
I wondered after nothing was released after the summit in September. A lot of us were looking at the "unveiling" of their mineral wealth as an indicator of just how much money was under the ground there. I guess we finally had Scooter dig it up.
