True friends wouldn't laugh at such an investment...they are probably duds that think their life is so perfect...they probably drive a safe conservative car, have 1 type of mustard in their fridge, and have no variability and fun in their lives... Next time you see them (post-RV), I would ask them, "oh by the way, exactly what investments do you recommend?" And after they ramble with nonsense, (insert whatever you want here)... Get it on video cuz it'd be fun to see...

Vanessa, I commend your bravery to express vulnerability; it sounds like you and your hubby are pretty caring people and I'm sorry your financial situation is not ideal. In my opinion, you have to re-baseline your thinking such that you're willing to wait another 3-5yrs from today for this blessing to occur...NOT because I feel the intel is pointing to such, but rather because I feel so many people are relying on this investment to "set them free". The reality is after 3-5yrs (hypothetically), the dynamics may change and we don't see a dime from this (again re-programming your expectations)... Don't let this dream disable you emotionally...it's completely out of all our hands...it's in the hands of...(disclaimer: I don't mix investments and religion)...several powerful people/entities. There's not a single news article, rumor, opinion, etc. that rocks me mentally...the only thing I will believe is when the rate finally changes and I've successfully wired money into my account(s)...period...Nuff said LOL... dhill, From what I have learned, BondLady usually deconstructs and explains the article...it's all good...

For the most part, I agree with your statement; however, I doubt anything you hear or read coming out of the M.E. is going to be a literal playbook for the world to see... Let's take the NBA playoffs that are currently underway for example. During interviews, Doc Rivers (head coach of the Boston Celtics) will absolutely talk about how his team needs to do a better job on defense, or that they have to reduce their turnovers, or they need to execute their transition game like they do in practice, blah blah blah...pretty much all great head coaches in any sport communicate the same way (not to mention they train their players how to talk to the media). What Doc doesn't ever do is tip his hat to his true game plan which could be 4 or 5 special plays specifically designed to neutralize the opposing team's top players. Same thing can be said about Shabbs or Stinky-Maliki (or any of the controlled media we are constantly spoon fed for that matter). They would be foolish to give readers/listeners a perfect recipe. Like many others, I catch myself trying to fit a square peg in a round hole (ie. taking non-RV related information and trying to mold it into RV-related information). For the most part, the majority of us are on the same team and want what's best...so I agree with you, I just don't put too much weight on the controlled media coming out of the M.E. Go RV!
