  1. Just keep hopin' and prayin'
  2. Wounded Warrior. This is a very good program that assists our soldiers and their families. I saw someone listed it previously. I just want to add to the recommendation.
  3. I did not see the icon Munsch was referring to, but I found Compatibility View Settings under the Tools drop down menu. I added Dinar Vets to be displayed in compatibility View and my Posts are no longer doubled. Thanks Munsch...been driving me nuts for months!
  4. I thought I saw a story this morning where B of A is cutting 10,000 jobs. yep...I did.... Bank of America (BAC) is cutting 3,500 employees this quarter and working on restructuring plans that will ax several thousand more, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times report, citing people familiar with the situation. The reports Friday said that the job cuts at the biggest U.S. bank by assets might exceed 10,000 or about 3.5% of its work force.
  5. May God bless the soldiers that are deployed worldwide...including those protecting and serving our citizens here at home.
  6. on a related note...what about Uncirculated vs. Circulated notes? When I first purchased, I was advised to buy the uncirculated. I was thinking to myself...an old bill will spend the same as a new one, but I did purchase the uncirculated ones...figuring maybe it had something to do with counterfeiting. I still think I overspent, but they sure look nice!
  7. hey KJ..it's me...your long lost 22nd cousin by way of your aunt's side of your mother's family.....
  8. here's a scenario.....purely speculative and for example purpopses only. Say for example....the current 25,000 dinar note is equal in value to the "NEW" (yet printed or uncirculated) 25 dinar note. They both have the same purchasing power. Now if Irag then revalues the "NEW" dinar to say $3.20 US Dollar per 1 Dinar. That would mean 1,000,000 current dinar are worth $3,200. Not the millionaire result we were all hoping for...but we would make a few dollars of our investment. I still hope we all become millionaires and billionaires...but I think we will at least make a few bucks. Just my opinion....no facts to back this up at all. Again....we just have to wait and see..... (Note: It seems BlueOrchid and I were on the same thought. It just took me longer to post.)
  9. Thanks Adam! One step at a time....
  10. Thanks for sharing and educating me.
  11. Hopin' and Prayin'.....
  12. I could be wrong on that 100 ... I thought I saw two or three of the smaller denom's. I remember the 500 and 250 for sure. so now my next question...if these are out on the street and not from the previous regime...then what is all this talk about issuing new lower denominations? Is it to supposedly include the Kurdish language?
  13. This is a question....I am NOT trying to get anyone excited over this. This a just a question.....I was at a gun show this weekend and one of the vendors had some dinar besides other collectibles. I immediately recognized the 25k, but I also saw 500 and 250 and I even think 100. They were physically smaller in size than the larger denominations. I did not get to talk to the vendor because he had too many people at his booth. I am not trying to pump anything, but I was curious about these. This was a smaller gun show, so I am guessing these could have been the older Dinar, unless there truly is lower denominations on the street. Are there lower paper denominations on the street? I should have taken a picture! Doh! And I posted this in the wrong forum... should have been in Dinar questions... Moderators...coudl you move this please?
  14. We should lock them in a room and don't let them come out until they have worked out a deal.
  15. Bumper64 -- can that wand fix my double posting on my profile page? I tried to create a ticket, but that did not work either.
