He is within a specialized agency. I recieved a call from him a short time ago. He said, Sis, begin watching CBI closely tonight and over the next few nights for change. I cannot say more than this and I have nothing I can show you to substantiate what I am telling you. But just run with it folks. It won’t hurt. Have a great evening. 2. thanks for the post. hope it's true......
  3. 10:21 AM [peepaw] Talked to my friends the Kurds yesterday and they introduced me to a friend of the family….a former defense department employee. My friends said he would be able to answer most of the questions I want to ask. So I began with: 10:22 AM [peepaw] Is the government formed? 10:22 AM [peepaw] He laughed and said it has been formed since Dec. when Maliki was given the vote of confidence. 10:23 AM [peepaw] Is Maliki the PM? 10:23 AM [peepaw] He said yes 10:23 AM [peepaw] Does Iraq need to have the ministry positions filled in order to have the government final? 10:23 AM [peepaw] He laughed again and said No…the government is final and sovereign. 10:24 AM [peepaw] Do the ministry positions have to be complete to revalue the currency? 10:24 AM [peepaw] He said no…now that the budget is complete they will have to remove the three zeros as they all have been told. 10:25 AM [peepaw] He did not know a date or rate except to say that the removal of zeros will happen now that the budget is complete. 10:25 AM [peepaw] He said it would happen quickly and no one will know…it will just happen. 10:26 AM [peepaw] Now I had to go so I could not talk much more…but he told me anytime he was there and wanted to talk I could….he was a very nice man. 10:26 AM [peepaw] Done 10:26 AM [dmitch] Thanks Peepaw! 10:26 AM [sFCDiaz] Thank you peepaw 10:26 AM [Cool] thank you very much peepaw for this information 10:26 AM [Topguner] EXCELLENT NEWS Peepaw!!!!! 10:27 AM [DinarKing] thanks peepaw 10:29 AM [dmitch] Peepaw…if you see him again, can you ask him about the contracts being paid in Dinar starting March 1 and ask if that is true 10:29 AM [peepaw] sure dmitch 10:29 AM [dmitch] I can’t recall where that came from, and if there is an article or rumor…. 10:30 AM [dmitch] but I saw where Mister$Dinar on DS, who is on the ground in Iraq – contractor…says they’ve not heard that… 10:30 AM [dmitch] so we get lots of conflicting info 10:27 AM [peepaw] The key to me was that he worked in the defense dept of Iraq 10:32 AM [peepaw] I know he was very sure that they had to increase the value of the dinar and that it had to be done since the budget was approved 10:34 AM [peepaw] I got the impression and this is JMO that it would happen this week or next just listening to him. 10:35 AM [sFCDiaz] whoooooo hoooooooo 10:35 AM [dmitch] well, that would go along with what I had heard last night and posted – that it had to be done by the 2nd 10:37 AM [dmitch] So Peepaw…where are you having lunch today?!  10:38 AM [peepaw] actually going back over to see the kurds
  4. And i'm sure you know what was really said between all of these so say rumors....... If you think about it most of the rumors offer more information than the news articles coming out of Iraq. Dont get me wrong because some of them are way over the top but there is normally a little bit of truth coming out of them if not all truth that has not been confirmed. The only person you can control is yourself so maybe you should start there.
  5. Not me just passing this along Swany26: Hey Steve, Got a call last night from my dad who is also invested in the Dinar. His long time friend and business client so to speak called him last night (he is the one responsible for getting us involved in the IQD), and said that he had just heard from a congressman that he is close with and that this will be done this week. This sort of information has never come to us before. I would post this to share with everyone but didn’t because I know that I would be bashed (sad to see a few PD members going the route of bashing). I have no links or anything like that. Just what I was told. My dad’s friend is a very honest Christian man and would not lie to us like this, and my dad is also very honest. But i figured that I would share with you what I have learned. Thank you for providing a great site for all of us to have and share in. And please do feel free to whatever you would like with this information, you have gained the trust of many of us at PD. Have a great day, (Swany26)
  6. debunked huh.......... we shall see. Gas will always be for sale also but not at the same price.
  7. Erbil, 16 February 2011 ( AK News ) The deputy head of the finance parliamentary committee said some paragraphs of the Iraqi 2011 budget bill have been amended to incorporated the salary reduction for the senior governmental posts, adding there is chance for increasing the wages for the junior posts. Ahmed Faydhullah told AKnews Tuesday the salaries of the posts from the director general rank upwards as well as the salaries of the lawmakers are proposed to be cut 10%. Double this cut is postulated for the salaries of the three presidencies of the parliament, government and republic. The reductions will be spent on public services, as improving the food programs, as well as agriculture and education projects, the lawmaker added. Asked about the reports about a 20% raise for the senior government employees, Faydhullah said there is “a strong chance” for the raise but so far the rate is not indicated. There is a “great difference” between the salaries of the top officials and those of rank and file governmental employees, which many deem is “quite unfair.” The Iraqi Council of Ministers ratified the Iraqi 2011 budget bill for the second time Feb.6. The bill, which stands at 81.9 billion U.S Dollars, is now ready for the second and final reading Wednesday in parliament, after the finance committee also made its report about the bill. Delay in government formation followed by disputes over budget shares has suspended the 2011 Iraqi budget so long. A Kurdish newspaper, called Awena, alludes to the recent fiscal promises by the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s government as “precautions against any uprising like the recent ones in Arab world.” Maliki proposed to cut his salary to half, to postulate a 15,000 Iraqi Dinars (IQD) for the each Iraqi citizen as a compensation for the shortcomings in the oil for food program. He also proposed to increase the salaries of the junior government officials, to impede the enforcement of the customs tax law temporality and to exempt the underprivileged families from electricity bill payments- 10 promises within only five days. http://www.iraqupdates.com/p_articles.php/article/87196
